Wife beaters

Anybody rocking them most of the time? I notice that when i wear a wife beater (aka white beater), the amount of attention i get is just CRAZY. I am not a very big guy (actually im short) but i have a good defined body.

Put it this way, whenever i see a chick with short shorts or short skirt, that shit gets me horny as fuck and i quickly want to approach her and get to know her. I think the same applies for girls when they see us wearing revealing clothes (in this case a wife beater), i bet that shit gets them horny as fuck.

I am looking to buy a bunch of wife beaters soon, i was wondering if anybody has any input on them.

I like em and rock em whenever the weather and the setting allow it.

I don't rock them, but I know alot of girls go horny for that look.

I do the deep v-neck tshirt thing, yes I know it is borderline douchebag but I get alot of attention when I do wear them.

Pitt - I've said before that I would only wear wife beaters if I had the body. My uncle is cut up and has girls just staring when he wears one after work covered in sweat. He's also in his mid 40s.

I rock them pretty frequently. If you've got the right attitude (read: tough) and a body that's in atleast decent shape, they're fine.

Protip: If you're going to wear a wifebeater, NEVER FUCKING FORGET TO PUT ON DEODORANT.

Here's some online for $2.99 ea.

If their price + shipping is cheaper than my local Wal-Mart I may order a couple dozen.

I rock them when its hot and like someone else already mentioned, the setting allows it. Don't just go wearing it everywhere, you're just gonna look like an idiot and a bum if you don't have the right body to get away with it.

I really don't like white's, I rather just wear black or gray ones.

I wear them and I get looks in them but while I'm comfortable in a tight vneck, something about the wife beater makes me feel uncomfortable like I'm trying too hard to draw attention, especially since even when it's hot here it's never really that hot. It's not a natural style for me but I'm like fret, I try not to go traditional white, I try to make it look like it was a stylish choice.

I dont wear them. My hometown is super white trash, so you always see the dirtiest motherfuckers wearing them. Super scumbags. Might be ok in a different town.

Damn, I saw them in an advertisement a few days ago and thought about buying them. This thread just gave me confirmation to do it. Now that i'm getting bigger from working out they should look better too.

In the Netherlands it is just not a welcomed look.

If you're ripped and want normal, hot college girls: make your muscles implicit and wear a looser tee.
If you're ripped and want quick-and-easy trashier girls: be explicit about your muscles and wear the wife beater with pride.

I hate the hipsters just as much as the next guy. They don't look masculine and combine that with soft clothing. But when your body and face are masculine and your clothing is rough and tough as well, you look over the top. Contrast the two aspects of your appearance.

Assuming the stories of most American girls being quick-and-easy trashier girls, it's not a bad idea to go over the top. Do what works. Here, we seem to have a Jante Law Lite at work. Be athletic because they like it, but don't draw attention to it. Be the fun, social guy that happens to be hot.

OP are we talking tight wife beaters here (those you could use under your shirt in winter so to speak) or loose vests?
If you have the muscles to show then go for the loose vest, tight wife beaters are really good at helping you fall in the douche/ try-hard category in my opinion

Shit, I didnt know wife beaters were considered trashy and low class around the world haha. Im trying to wear as little as possible when its 100+ with high humidity and Im outside.

Pitt I know you like the hip hop look, but I would get the correct size. They look retarded when worn like a baggy t shirt.

I love them. Have about 10 different types. Go for a good brand with a stylish look. I have a few penguin ones that look real nice. Plus make sure everything else you wear adds to it. Stylish jeans and a pair of raybans go a long way. Whenever I have worn them out the attention I get is at least doubled. Problem is picking the right venue and avoiding looking too try hard. I surf a lot too so it suits my character. Plus they are so comfortable. After the summer I always have a mad wifebeater tan.

I trim the right down. Nothing looks worse then them poking out but you don't wanna go hairless either.

I wear them at the gym & when shopping for groceries sometimes. You need to have a shredded upperbody to wear them.

^^^ yes, I've visited the Gold Coast and Sydney and in the former literally every guy wore a vest. I don't know if it's the weather or the gym culture that seemed to permeate the place
