Roosh V. Forum has surpassed 250,000 posts

As I write this, there are 13,085 threads, and 251,155 posts on the Roosh V. Forum.

That's a hell of a lot of posts, a huge portion of which are absolute gold. Shout out to all the RVFers that have contributed to this place through their sweat, dedication, and trials and errors.

Here's to the next quarter million. [Image: grouphug.gif]

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

That leaves about 3.29 billion men who don't know how to bang girls well. We're still a minority.

^^ Unique visitors is 1.6 million. But...

-A lot of guys have visited the forum from multiple computers.
-The majority of visitors come from search engines, hit a couple pages, and then never return.

According to the software, there are 500 active registered members. A generous estimate is 5,000 - 10,000 guys who are very familiar with this forum and visit regularly.

Roosh V. Forum has surpassed 250,000 posts

I was thinking about this thread earlier and thought I'd see how far we've come since I posted this thread almost 18 months ago.

When I first posted this ... 251,155 posts forum-wide.

Today, as I write this ... 633,198 posts forum-wide.

382,043 new posts since this thread started.

timeanddate.com tells me that 525 days have passed since I started this thread. 382,043 / 525 = about 727 new posts per day.

Roosh, how many active members have we got now-a-days?

"Active" members according to the software is about 1,000. I have no idea what it means... maybe the number of registered users who logged in in the past 7 days.

Interesting. If the software is even remotely correct, we've approximately doubled in active users over the last 18 months.

According to my rough mathematics, we should hit 850,000 to 875,000 posts by years' end, and one million posts sometime in 2015.

The youngest forum members here have no idea how lucky they are. I'd give damned near anything to have access to the information here when I was 15 or 16.

There's a lot of info to sift through. It's basically become an interactive wikipedia of game.

A testament to the value this forum provides.

And makes it laughable when other people get banned and start other forums that are shit.

Things like this don't happen in a linear fashion. This forum will expand at rates that will make things uncomfortable.

Case in point, read a thread from 2010 and then read a thread from this month. It's like going from RooshV 101 to RooshV 450, in terms of quality and depth of thought.

I was reading a thread on here from either 2010 or 2011 about the military and it was like a complete train wreck. Multiple trolls and now-banned forum members were basically getting into a pissing contest with current forum members. This forum has really come a long way in the short amount of time in has been in existence. It will only continue to improve over time.

I was thinking about this while writing the post. This forum could very well see growth rates that would push us to 1,000,000+ posts before year's end.

Of course, at the end of the day, the quality of posts is more important than the quantity thereof. I'm quite confident that our membership is smart enough to detect trolls, call out misinformation as bullshit, etc.

Going forward, I think one of the forum's greatest assets is networking with fellow players, businessmen, etc. I've been running ideas through my head that could profit myself and fellow members, i.e. guy in country X can find whatever item quite inexpensively compared to USA, sends it to RVFer in USA who sells it, they split the profit.

Edit: One more thing. I've noticed that traffic in the game forum seems to have diminished. At one point, two or three pages worth of topics were posted in daily. Today, less than half a page of topics have been posted in.

If you look through the who's met who on this forum, 75% of the forum is no more than two degrees away from each other. Putting your thoughts where your money and mouth is has pushed this forum to where it is today. As we continue to mature and collect wealth and influence as a group of individuals, I'm sure this will continue.

For instance, while I have never met you Merenguero, I'm certain that if you've met other members then we're about sixty seconds away from being able to give each other a direct call. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

It's like having a friend in any city in the world you get off a plane in.

A lot of being good at game comes from everything else I do. When I post something new, I'll just throw it in the players log thread.
