Yeah for this time frame I would only look at places with a direct flight. Also spring for first class if you can afford it and are crossing time zones. Hitting the ground running and feeling fresh is key.

I think Columbia is a hard place to pull. I talked with patron's friend in depth about it. Would consider if that were my permanent vacation destination. I was gonna leave here but keep getting laid, drunk, and side-tracked by forum members.

I do need to recharge for a few days and resupply, but the DR hasn't quenched my Latina itch. Been wanting to go deep into Mexico for years, and will probably head down soon. You are right about El Salvador, place is becoming a warzone. Not sure if I want that kind of risk just for pussy.

Managua, Nicaragua did well to me (easy girls and very safe also) ... Having had extended stays in many cities in DR and Colombia, I can tell you that you will need at least 5X the effort/resources to pull in Colombia than in DR. (unless you get really lucky).

Realized you guys were right. A weekend is too short to travel from the east coast USA to northern Europe. Instead, I will save those trips for when I setup myself to work remotely full time. That should happen anytime between October and December. In the meantime, I've decided to book a flight to Denver for Columbus Day weekend. I know US women get the big thumbs down on here but as one who's only lived on the coasts, I'm intrigued to find out whether I have been missing out by neglecting much of the interior. I hope to have Phoenix and Austin also knocked out by the end of the year as well.

Any insights on Denver would be greatly appreciated. I really need to know what's the best area for nightlife logistics so I can get a hotel there. Any names of specific venues would also be handy. Thanks.

There's a huge shopping area/center where a lot of people go, especially college chicks. Lots of talent.

Boulder is a major college/party town, but I didn't go out at night, so I can't say what it's like cracking into the scene. It might be too cliquish for a man who doesn't have an in. (Maybe you were in a frat and they have the same frat at CU?)

Denver is great because it's not unusual for guys in their late 30s/early 40s to party. It's a lot like SF in that regard...It's just not weird or creepy for an older guy to be out.
