HD download on a large enough TV does the job.

I don't think they had the technology to go through the Van Allen Radiation belts at that time.
The Sputnik 3 went through the Van Allen Radiation Belt and stayed there, while it orbited the Earth some thousands of times. That was in 1958, over 10 years before the Apollo 11.
Staying in the VARB would be hazardous for humans, but if your travel through the VARB lasts only a few hours, what is the problem? You get irradiated heavily, but you also get irradiated heavily (though less heavily, of course) every time you take a transoceanic flight.
Yeah and you also get irradiated every time you eat a banana. But it's not the same level of irradiation as standing under the Chernobyl dome...
And Sputnik 3 was an unmanned satellite. Incidentally, it couldn't record anything when it went through the VAB, because its instruments were fried.

Didn't Armstrong punch a guy in the face who questioned whether he was actually on the moon?
No. Buzz Aldrin did that. Aldrin was the more brazen of the two.
Aldrin was asked (though in a somewhat aggressive manner) to swear on a bible that he landed on the moon. He turned down the request and got punchy.
I think we probably didn't get to the moon, but I'm not completely certain about it.

In every image we have of Neil he is the happiest-go-lucky guy around. Without even seeing the movie I can see that casting Ryan Gosling is attempting to make the man seem “grim serious dramatic stoic”

Yeah, he won the Mount Everest. I read about him when I was at class IX. Nice story it was.
