Suit game is absolutely real and commands attention

I notice suite game works in the daytime better. You wear it out at night to a venue and lots of other dudes will have it on. It also typecasts you as a "type" of dude and some girls will automatically dismiss you by default. In Toronto broads call them "suits" as they are all just mindless money guys. Some girls are into it while others won't even entertain them.

It can work, but it's not something to do mindlessly.

First thing is to make sure that the suit you're wearing looks like one you'd wear for style and not for work. Boring "work" colors are out. Vests are maybe in. My favorite to wear with a suit is this cobalt blue shirt I got on sale. If I wear a tie it is an informal complimenting tie (patterned, black with a complimenting color). Trim should be more stylish and less formal than what you'd wear at the office, as should your shoes.

Second is to know your own palette. I do well with winter colors so if I suit up I'm typically wearing a charcoal suit with intense colors on my shirt/accessories. If you're blond haired/light eyed don't do this and instead go with something lighter.

If you look good in light colors Burn Notice is a good place to start for inspiration:

If you look good in darker colors most of Barney Stinson's nighttime suits are a good place to start.

Second is know your venue. Don't be the dumbass in a top-40 dance or salsa club running around in a suit If you're going to dress up then you should be looking to match: find a trendy, slightly more upscale club downtown, a nice lounge, or a classy cocktail bar.

General rule of thumb is to dress about 1-1.5 levels above the average at any given venue. If your chosen venue is one where people usually wear jeans then you will look hella outta place. You want a place where most dudes are wearing slacks and a button down, then to step it up with a nicely fitted suit jacket and/or accessory.

I would like to hear Suits opinion.
But I walked into a high end shop looking for a suit.
I don't like the suits Armani is making or Canali, or whatever.
I like Tom Ford. London Made. Tom Ford Made to Measure costs $8K after it's all said and done.
No problem.
But the real issue is. If you want to have Suit Game. You have to wear a suit Monday through Sunday.
Cannot break frame. You cannot wear an expensive suit one day. Then a cheap Tee and Levis (nothing wrong with this) the next...
I would have to buy 6-7 suits to interchange for a month. That's about $56K.

Disagree, walk into a place where guys are dressed like moes and you look sharp gets all the ladies attention. You're letting your style be affected by what other *guys* wear which is beta.

This is different than walking into a biker bar in a suit, which you wouldn't do.

Disagree.

English gentlemen had their country suits, hunting wear, rugged attire, casual and sport clothes.

Having a wardrobe that suits all your pursuits and the full gamut of your personality is the dream.

A couple good cotton tees and proper jeans is as essential as having a tailored winter suit and a light linen summer suit.

If I had to pick one look though, I like English country stuff for the durability and class. Something about tweed and derby boots that fits my soul, stays comfortable, and lasts forever... while still looking better than most everyone else in the area.

Not that I have this yet, it's just the ideal.

The only people that recognize expensive suits are people who buy expensive suits. Fit and cut are far more important. 18-24 year old girls have absolutely no clue.

Maybe in Canada that's true outside Toronto and major cities, but in major cities in the US you are patently wrong. I mean, 18 yr olds don't know anything that's true.

But thanks for re-stating that fit is more important.

If you are wearing a wool suit in 98 degree weather in the summer in New York, you are not going to be looking your best(unless you are in air conditioned areas the entire time), wear clothes that you like that you look good in.

I mostly do manual labor and fitness for a living, I am convinced suit game is the worst idea on this forum(it would be for me at least, to change into a suit to go out in after doing manual labor all day makes not much sense). I get that if you are wearing a suit anyways for what you are already doing, you want to look good, of course, in that case go ahead.

You can get a light wool suit or a linen suit that will feel just as comfortable as jeans and tee or shorts, and look 100% better.

But if you are going to pick up in a dive bar, then yeah, forgo the suit.

Obviously a cheap suit that looks like a cheap work suit is going to fall flat, but a flashy cheap suit can command attention better than one ten times the price. Something like Topman, Zara or H&M is all you need assuming you have the body to pull it off. I got a polyester no-name slim fit suit from TJ Maxx and get tons of compliments and eyefucked on the regular.

I call BS on this thread. Both as a guy who owns a few quite expensive suits, and who sells them on the side. To add further credibility, I have tried the ''suit game'' when I was still green to the Red Pill (thanks to G Manifesto - who turned out to be a fake persona). Both casual and formal variants.

When women see you wearing a suit, which vibe you are giving away? Of a man who is ''exciting'', who does not give them a damn what she wants and, what's most important, pound her silly? Or... a man who is ''nice and stable''*, who will ''accept her no matter what''** and wait until she is ready for sex (after 500 dinner dates)***?

I have bolded the correct answer. Most of us would rather be a ''dangerous and exciting'' guy who gets pussy at their prime, for cheap, rather the the ''stable'' guy who gets a post Wall (or gold digging) cunt, whose finances will get torpedoed, and brain fried from all the nagging.

All in all, if you are after young tail...drop the suit game. Wear anything but that. T shirt/jeans. Blazer(of casual variant)/jeans.

Only if it matches your identity and daily routine.

I work in Midland, Texas right now in the oilpatch, and there's tons of dudes out here who are partners in these smaller drilling companies, many are multi-millionaires worth between 2-10 million. They dress like shit and talk like hillbillies. You would never guess they're millionaires.
The boomer generation produced a lot of blue collar millionaire types who seem like borderline white trash but are millionaires.

So I think a suit isn't about your money as much as your job and identity. If you work in finance or something similar then yes.

Anything you do in life derives from this. the very core of internal solid frame.

I rock a T and blazer here in texas in the fall/winter. Most of my lays come during those months and I'm sure the blazer has something to do with it.
When Im in a blazer (on top of my height) I get mad complements from women since I'm the only one with one on and I look good and confident. This is just theory but maybe dress one level up from your arena. Everyone is in buttondowns/polos=wear a blazer. Everyone in a blazer=Suit up. Obviously this all counts for nothing if you don't have great frame control, body language, and solid internal game.
Im sure the venue is a major factor as well.

Attraction and passion are non-negotiable

Obviously you have to dress in a manner that's congruent with your lifestyle and location. It was also mentioned earlier that suiting up has the most noticeable impact during the day. Start wearing a suit regularly and you'll find that everyone (not just girls) treats a man in a suit with more respect. Just don't look like you're trying to hard or a car salesman and you'll be fine.

I got suited up in a custom fitted 3 piece suit and went out to a nice night club in the Ukraine. An doors just opened for me... bounced to a few other clubs in the vicinity and never had to pay or wait in line to get in, the club photographers were taking pics of me and random girls all through the night. I was ready to go home but went to go piss first and in the line for the bathroom some guy ask me if I know where he can score some coke, I said no but he invited me to his table. I got to the table and he poured me a regular sized glass full of Grey Goose Vodka with nothing else...... I got wasted an they took me around to 2 or 3 strip clubs and paid for everything. Some German guys celebrating on of their birthdays. The sun was up when I got home.... I can't help but to think if I wasnt suited up my night wouldnt have been so eventful.

Come on, Cr33pin. That's just a normal night for you, with or without the suit.

I'm getting the impression a suit would work best when paired with features that distinguish you from the average banker. A beard might work well for this, or an unkempt hairstyle. Maybe that's the function of the more flashy items, like the pocket square or vest.

I've noticed that even wearing a shirt detracts from my results. It makes me look like too much of a norm. Rolling up the sleeves + tight fit can remedy that, perhaps.

The last 4 years I've only picked up 19-24yr olds mostly 20-22s and they all loved my suit game. Of course, congruence is key as with anything in life.

I think wearing a suit has only a slight impact in big international cities that are full of office drones and businessmen walking around suited up. I've tested out fly suit ensembles multiple times and it rarely made a difference compared to regular clothes. That is in Australia though that I wore suits. I think it depends on the culture. Maybe walking around suited up in 2nd tier cities in places like Ukraine or Ecuador, etc is a huge boost? Anybody with more experience care to weigh in on the that?

Snakeyes seemed like an obvious troll with his over-hyping of the power of suit.

I actually agree with AS for once.We have top notch clubs that will not let you in if you are a suit. But we don't get off on that nightclub table shit either. When your whole city is wearing a suit like Connor or wearing the pocket square shit it means nothing.
Also in Oz people grew up wearing school uniform so a suit is seen as just another uniform and lack of originality .Tie jacket/blazer ,slacks, leather shoes etc.You are just swapping one uniform for another. Some school uniforms set parents back a grand or more.

I think it helps if you visualize your style as being one or two of three: (1) rugged, (2) refined, (3) rakish (this comes from Tanner Guzy by the way). You dress to your style that makes you feel good and confident.

Check out The Rock here. Fitted shirt, fitted waistcoat, no tie, thicker belt, sleeves rolled up, and hefty accessory (bracelet). Looks like he's wearing matching pants but to dress it down a little, you can wear dark jeans and clean leather work boots like Red Wing or Wolverine. You can wear this to a dive bar.
