Roosh Should Comment on Every Data Sheet

I know Roosh, you offered a free book for every data sheet that was posted in July and that is commendable. But more than that, as the moderator and the Uncle, you should post comments on every new data sheet that is posted on the forum. Or, at least ask questions or steer the sheet thread.... so that it offers the most value. Sometimes it seems, like you dont care or maybe you are too busy to do that. For me with your experience, you have to be like the expert producer who judges and hears every detail of a song.

Also, it gives incentive for more members to write up data sheets when you get involved.

Roosh Should Comment on Every Data Sheet

When Roosh opened this forum, he noted on his blog that:

Quote:Quote:

Two specific reasons I want a forum:

1. I want to birth a living beast that is independent of me, like an online version of Fight Club.

2. It’s getting hard to keep up with all the emails and Facebook messages I get that ask me for advice. I feel bad when I get an email that starts with, “Roosh I need help this weekend I’m seeing a girl…” and then I don’t get to it until a week after. With a forum people can ask questions and get advice besides just from me.

In my mind, suggesting that Roosh should comment on every data sheet goes against the grain of why Roosh opened this forum. This forum is something bigger than himself, and is host to plenty of qualified posters who may be better able to comment on some subjects, than Roosh could.

My friend, emails and facebook are not data sheets. He should ignore most of them. Data sheets are the best things that come from this forum and those who post good ones are rare and most of those sheets need to be tweeked to be even better.
The fight club analogy is weak because most data sheet posters are not expert players....they still need some guidence.

If he hasn't been to a specific place, why would he comment? Data sheets should be informative to those who need/want it, not cluttered with excess posts.

1. There are 400-600 new posts on this forum per day. It would be a full time job to read them all. Truth is I am only able to read a small percentage of posts here.

2. I often give likes and reps to data sheet contributors. But if I haven't been to a place, and don't have questions about it, a reply of mine wouldn't be meaningful.

Funny, I don't remember writing that, but that's what has happened, no? [Image: smile.gif]

From August 12, 2008:

Introducing the Forum

After learning this evening that Gmac banged a girl appearing in DateLab, I'm really starting to appreciate the reach our usergroup has.

G Manifesto, for example, is an avid data sheet reader and I always like that he critiques or questions with follows ups, if data or important info has not been provided. I will also try to do that myself. Back in the day, Mixx also used to do that. Point is sometimes mediocre data sheets are left just like that....where the point of the forum is to get as much useful info on a place as possible, for future travelers. Maybe we can have a few experienced moderators who would volunteer to do that.

Is the point of the forum really just data? I guess I missed that post.

I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who have ever lived -- an entire generation pumping gas and waiting tables; or they're slaves with white collars. Advertisements have them chasing cars and clothes, working jobs they hate so they can buy shit they don't need. We are the middle children of history, with no purpose or place. We have no great war, or great depression. The great war is a spiritual war. The great depression is our lives. We were raised by television to believe that we'd be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars -- but we won't. And we're learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed-off.

chochemonger's point is valid, but just the same, it's too much for Roosh alone to address. ANYONE having questions or input into a data sheet can jump in, and the result will be the same. We'll get that additional information and get those blanks filled in.

Tuthmosis, most of the forum´s value is about information and data. And then, as an aside, there is finding fellow comrads and like minded men...since in this god damn world there are so few of us.
I posted this thread, maybe, because I see Roosh and some other forum members less involved, in commenting on threads compared to 2 years ago. Maybe it is just a minimal thing and there is just less to comment on....as many things have been repeated many times. But at least, for any data sheet on somewhere new... there should be comments or questions from the top brass. Compare that to kamaki now, the g manifesto and mixx in the old days. They always questioned or added to threads.

Yes, because for every new city´s data sheet there is a similar template of how things go down. And Roosh being the writer and experienced traveler that he is...it would be a shame not to see 1 or 2 comments....even if it is just a simple statement affirming or denegrating the value of the sheet.

I think it would make more sense to have a (co-) area expert or Ambassador comment on a colleague's trip report.

This already happens quite a bit.

For example, in my own datasheet, Bang Cincinnati, Lothario chimes in and helps add some information, which I also further elaborated upon.

Some guys already add onto data sheets if they've got information.

I think Roosh should be bitten by a radioactive spider and then use his webslinging abilities to help us out. That would realy add value to the forum.

I think Roosh should mail out a welcome kit--with a keychain, free samples, and coupons--to every new member. That would really add value to the forum.

I think Roosh should learn Mandarin while studying at a kung fu monastery. That would really add value to the forum.
