The problem with Bogota is that Rolas are used to seeing foreigners, and are known to be the coldest of Colombian women and most challenging to bang. If you only have 3 or 4 days, I'd say skip Bogota and head straight to Cali or better yet, Pereira or Armenia, but your Español better be damn good! You'll get bored really fast in bogota as it is typically cold, and you'll mostly be venturing down to Zona T and shopping malls. Rolas are not that comfortable being approached, but YMMV. fir the easiest of women to bang in a short span, hop on a flight to Barranquilla or Cali. I have a fuck fest there everytime with 2 day trips.

I just looked up Barranquilla and noticed that Sofia Vergara was born in that city... If she is a good example of what that city has to offer, then I think it is definitely worth checking out [Image: smile.gif]

Barranquilla girls, IMO, are the easiest of ALL Colombian women, right next to Pereira!

Barranquilleras or Costenas, as they are called as well, are VERY down to earth! If they like you, and you game them real cool, and calm, it is very common to be banging a Barranquilla girl after a movie, and an ice cream cone on the first date - almost 99% guaranteed sex if you dance well!! :-)

here is my advice to ANYONE visiting Colombia.

READY GUYS? LEARN TO DANCE SALSA!!! NOOOOOOOWWW!!!!

Pay for private classes, one-on-one.

I cannot even begin to tell you how many girls lined up just to get a chance to dance with me (and eventually bang me) when I was dancing salsa in Colombia!

I had to turn girls away, and refer to them to other men, because I was just flat out booked with several women, and could not handle one more!

These skills will also get you laid back home in the states easily!!! I have yet to meet a woman whose pupils do not fully dilate at the mention of getting frisky while dancing salsa - whether she is black, white, Latina or Asian... they all love to dance!

LEARN IT!!!

Enjoy the life!

Bogota is great so far. Women are very beautiful and very friendly and approachable. I'll give more info later, but what they say is true... The only danger is wanting to stay!

My favorite Colombian cities in order of which gives me the most bangs per stay.

1. Pereira!! There is an old saying amongst Colombian men that women in Pereira have a serious hearing problem: When you tell them to sit down, they lay down!

2. Cali - there is just something so cool about calenas that makes you fall in love quickly. They are teh best Salsa Dancers in teh ocuntry, and have the BEST bodies of all colombianas - couple that with down-to-earth old-school romance, and you got your perfect woman.

Calena woman will bang on the first date! If she does not, her sister will!

3. Medellin - love this city so much, I purchased a 1600sf loft here in 2009!

4. Armenia - Love nature? Ever wonder what it woudl be like to bang a beautful latina raised in a coffee plantation, and have yoru way with her under a tropical waterfall in teh forest? Thsii s the city for you!

5. Valledupar - Like vallenato music? Like women who rarely see foreigners other than TV? Wanna drink all day, fuck all night, and then have her cook breakfeast fo ryou in teh morning while her motehr makes you fresh Orange juice? Then Cucuta is teh city for you!

6. Cucuta - Like a challenge? A colombiana that is full of passion, and can help you start a business in Colombia? This is teh city for you?

7. Barraquilla - Shakira was born here. Need I say anything else?

8. BUcaramanga - Need a gansgta bitch to hold up the fort while you figure out a way to get your Kilos out of teh country? These feisty, and full of fight wopmen are the ones for you! For her birthday, don't buy her flowers - she'll call you a pussy! Instead, buy her a set of his and her 9mm guns - shell be yours until death do you part - literally!

9. Bogota - The best concerts are in Bogota!, but the best part about Bogota - its 1hr away from Villavicencio!! Want a girl who knows how to ride a horse? Villavicencio is where you'll find 'em! Just imagine how she''l ride your stick!

10. MOnteria - tired of Medellin bitches who flake? Well, Monteria is for you!! Consider thsi place 2nd home to paisas form Medellion who just flat out have nothing better to do than fuck!

11. Neiva - although not the best looking, I set a record here. I opened a girl at 1342hrs, we were fucking at my hotel by 1412hrs - no, she was not a hooker!!!

12. Santa Martha - tired of the hookers and vendors in Cartagena? Then thsi is definitely a great alternavitive to Cartagena - beautiful beaches, no tourists, and you won;t see any hookers anywhere! Unless, you are specifcially lookihg for that of course!

Spanish is spanish - pick up Rosetta Stone, and tart praticing... [Image: smile.gif]

which girkls are hotter? Brazil or Colombia.

Which fruits taste better an apple or orange?

All depends on your personal taste I guess.. I had a great tiem in Brasilia (see my report), but IO would never skip an opportunity to visit Colombia.

Right, but some countries people are known to be especially difficult to understand. Like Chile. Or they talk much faster in some countries than others. I've heard that Ecuadorian Spanish is the easiest to learn.

Well, thsi si coming from me - whose native language is Spanish. Picture it like this, someone from New York City, speask English than someone from Alabama, and teh person from Alabama, speaks differently than someone from Texas, and the person from Texas speask English differently than someone from South Carolina...see where I am going?

Spanish, is originally from Spain - and all countries have different accents, and may use certain words to express regional differences - but, we ALL speak the same grammar, and have teh same rules of speech.

Learn teh basics first, and then move to a level that you are conversational, and lastly worry about cultural differences.

Otherwise you'll be running around in an infinite loop to nowhere but cinfusion.

So....get to talking!

Armind, what can you tell me about cost of living there? Like a comparison between U.S. cost of living versus in Columbia. How much would one need a month to live a comfortable life(by U.S. standards). And how is the local cuisine?

Depends on the city. Donal Trump has towers in cartagena that go for over 2 MIllion USD. I'm sure that you and I have totally different definitions of what comfortable lifestyel is. To me, a comofrtable lifestyle is a Motorcycle, 5 latinas that I can bang simultaneously, 5 small meals per day, a kick ass laptop with top of the line hadrware/RAM, and finally, a wardrobe that rivals Diddy's [Image: smile.gif]

You may just be comfortable with 1 latina, and 1 pair of shoes, or mayu ot for a Car vs a motorcycle or none at all.

So, teh ebst way for me to "compare" is to take my lifestyle in Miami, and compare it with my loft on Medellin.

I gotta tell, based on my lifestyle, the only diference is teh homeowners association and property taxes - other than that, to sustain my lifestyle of parties and women, I actaully go back ttehHe US to SAVE money! LOL! Its really easy to get out of hand in Colombia, and bust your budget if you are aparty animal, and love to bang women day in/out from different cityies.

I currently sustain a Colombian Harem of about 14 different women - they all have to be "supported" by you..In Miami - I only keep 2 steady bangs!

Right, but some countries people are known to be especially difficult to understand. Like Chile. Or they talk much faster in some countries than others. I've heard that Ecuadorian Spanish is the easiest to learn.

Well, to actually answer your question, Colombian Spanish is known for being especially clean, neutral, and most similar to traditional Iberian Spanish (Iberia=Spain, so Iberian Spanish means Spanish as it is spoken in Spain). Colombians are known for being "the grammar nazis of South America" (a phrase used by a Colombian friend of mine) so their Spanish tends to be very grammatically correct and extremely well pronounced, and they are often chosen as news anchors and radio announcers for shows and programs that are going to air in multiple Latin American countries because everyone can understand them due to the fact that their accent is so neutral and their pronunciation is excellent.

In short, if you're learning Spanish from sources like Pimsleur, Platiquemos/FSI, Rosetta Stone, etc. that all use a very correct and neutral Iberian type of Spanish, then the country you would be best prepared to go to would, in fact, be Colombia. So yeah, you basically get really lucky in that regard if you want to go to Colombia because their Spanish is probably the easiest to understand in all of Latin America and has the least "accent" to it.

Cartagena ranks lowest On My list. Simply because it too touristy, and as with any high tourist city in the world, you get everything that goes along with that. As you'll find out, gringos and foreigners are EVERYWHERE, so there really won't be anything special/exotic about you. Everything in CTG us designed to do one thing: convince you that you cannot possibly be happy unless you are buying something.

I consider CTG a place to bring a girl from another city in my top 10 and have a good time. However, you can still pick up girls, but not as favorably as my top 10 cities.

** WARNING: CTG is not known for it's beautiful women! So, do not consider it an example of what the rest of the country looks like. Far from it.

Armanid27,

You went to Pereira, Bucurumanga, Barranquilla and some other "non-touristic and ideal" cities to find some hot chicks...

Where did you stay in those cities? apartment? hostel? couchsurfing?

If you go to nightclubs, bars or discotecas on your own in Colombia isnt it difficult to "isolate"
them?? I understood the girls go mostly out for dancing with their date....so daygame is very important or not?

I have Lots of friends everywhere with apts in these cities as I myself own property in Medellin. In The citcle of trust, its common for friends to let you use their place and you will eventually loan your condo to them in return when you are out of town.

I can ask around for places to Stay for you. Let me know what city you want to target first and your budget, and ill put a list of options together. I've never stayed in hostels however.

Swooping women in clubs is a bit of a challenge as you will never see a beuatiful woman alone, they usually go in groups of frriends, and sometimes they even are in a mixed set including guys. Follow the rule sof engagement - show social proof, work your way into the group, and show you add value and fun to their night. If you see a mixed set, always befreind the guy first!!! ALWAYS!, buy him a beer and find something in common, like his shirt you like so muhc, and weant to know where he bought it - or you like teh way he dances with his girlfreinds, and would loev for him to coach you...find anything to use to befriend him, and then find out which girl is his, and which are fair game!

I befreind men with women by asking questions about the latest soccer match and who won...find out who is playing, and become somewhat informed of local sports - its a surefire way for a guy to permit you access to his set of girlfreinds!!!

If they are all women, well - again, play the game of showing proof, and social value, and just weasel your way in!

To isolate - always be polite and just ask! "hey, I really like your gf, and she seems to like me, do you mind if I convince her to marry me tonight?" say something funny, and they will approve to take her someplace nearby to isolate. Always suggest a place where all her girlfreinds will at least be able to to see her - like a couch over, or the next table..never take her completely away - they will cockblock you!

Great info! I will definitely be re-reading before returning to Colombia! Very surprising to not see Cartagena on this list since everybody in Medellin talks about it so.

allright...thanks man for the info. I am not sure yet which route i will take through colombia...but that's just a matter of time...by that time if you have some addresses for me in Colombia would be nice!

Manizales is cool as well, right up there with Pereira. A lot of girls go to Pereira to find jobs - as it is nearby. Same rules as Pereira apply in Manizales - also known for some cool hot springs!

Booked ticket to Bogota

Just to give an update on Bogota now that I am in Medellin...

Bogota is an amazing city. Colombians are verrrry friendly, and I get the feeling girls like to fuck with their eyes here. I´ve been out most days and I have not had one bad night (with the exception of my last, and that was only because 7 days of drinking can finally catch up).

I was fairly lucky because my hostel host was very nice and directed us to all of the great places around Bogota and we all went as a group, all of us fun loving, so it made for good vibes. I met some Brazilian girls the first night at this pretty fun (and muy packed) club, and another night I was sitting on the terrace of a salsa club smoking a cigarette and this girl came out and started dancing with me and in no time was sucking on my neck. In conclusion, I have the feeling that Colombian girls are very passionate.

Colombian, and the Bogota accent in particular, is considered one of the clearest Spanish accents. My Spanish sucks right now, but I can understand enough to agree that their spanish is very clear.

As for living expenses, there were people living in La Calenderia (old and somewhat sketchy part of Bogota) renting a room for $200 per month. Food is incredibly cheap. You can get a decent meal for around 5000 pesos w/ drink which comes out to around $2.5 USD. Nightlife is still pretty cheap (by American standards) as long as you´re doing it the Colombian way... which is buying a bottle of rum or aguardiente and sharing it with a few people. Otherwise, as long as you stay out of Zona Rosa, your costs will be pretty damn incredibly low... and of course this is all dependent on how often you go out.

This is my first day in Medellin, so I´m going to go out and check this city out, but so far it looks very cool.

I can already feel a major difference in the personality of the two cities. That report is to come.
