Sometimes I've found threads that are pretty badass but since I have a laptop and a desktop and many different operating systems, using bookmarks makes no sense.

I usually just email myself links with short descriptions, but if we had something like a message inbox, but instead it had topics that we have tracked (for say 30 days), it would be really convenient for finding those posts instead of digging through my regular posts or using the search function.

So on the top of the thread, it would have an option like "Track Topic For 30 Days" or something like that. Then you'd log in elsewhere and look through your tracked topics and reread them at your leisure.

What do you guys think?

I can see the utility for such a function, but at the moment I'm pretty happy with using the "Like" function for threads/posts I find especially worthwhile. I can give credit to users that deserve it, and it helps me to keep track of what I often consider to be valuable posts.

Have you tried this function at the bottom of your screen? You can then access all your subscribed threads from your dashboard. You can unsubscribe whenever.
