I'm sure a specific type of game works well here, and I'd be interested in figuring it out. Thats why it will be beneficial for us members if we could go out with you and see your game and learn from it.

I don't doubt an early 30s guy with money would kill it here. But I don't think this is a city for younger men. Maybe thats where G has had a different experience than forum members here. I have a friend who's a fairly wealthy lawyer in his 30s who does very well with women here. In that case he's satisfied because he gets to date women of different backgrounds thus satisfying the need for diversity.

Anyway, I don't think most would categorically rule out brothers. It's just that you can't be an ordinary brother. I have had so many women check me out (read: sending clear inviting looks) after rejecting me (sometimes only seconds after doing so) that I'm now convinced women just see a black guy approaching and decide to reject for that reason. (This is such a huge impact on my picking up that I even made a thread about second appraches the same night.) And even when they are receptive, race still often trips me up in other ways.

A few close friends of mine are black and are always dressed to impress (not a suit, but clean dressy shoes, dress shirt, good fit pants and a line up) and get pussy every time they go out.

That sounds hard to believe. Anyway, right now my budget is kind of tight so I tend to go to venues that are either free or $5, maybe $10 (venues that, mind you, are still much better than Richmond). Where are they going and picking up? And which nights?

So basically you are stating ALL the Toronto dudes on this site are ugly and have NO game. Of hand I can count about six or more guys who are from the Toronto on this site and seem to be all saying the SAME thing, there are girls but they require alot of work.

Funny enough, I talk to a senior member on this forum who lives less than two minutes away from the hotspots, is good-looking(no homo) and has game - but yet he travels like no tomorrow and is tired of the girls in the city.

1Bliss's whole post is purely Toronto political correctness B.S. Here's an eye opener for you from an actual Toronto born and raised, Multiculturalism is a form of segregation and isolation in which it creates more barriers than it removes. Meaning that everyone sticks with their own kind.

Toronto was my home for a few years and it's a great place to get an education, raise a family or to use as a transit point between the second/third world and the first. I made good friends there.

Re: pickup in Toronto, it's hard to top Perseus's post. He summed it up. You need a good sense of humor to withstand the absolute shitshow going on in Toronto. I recommend yoga and deep breathing. The people that do the best are the ones who have worked on their social circle for a few years. These social circles are not typically welcoming to outsiders, but occasionally let some slip through.

This is the situation, and it is unfortunate. However, it's the first world and you all have the opportunity and the chance to leave if you want. Toronto is the greatest motivator to get your life, finances and mind together so that you can build momentum and move. I left the country, sometime in between Toronto complaint threads #832 and #7482. I needed a change of scene, and have no regrets about the move yet.

I'll tell you this though. After what you're used to in Toronto, other cities are cakewalks. Nightclub douchebaggery? Not going to deter me. Cockblocking? Seen it all. Massive flaking? Doesn't matter. Weird checklists and overblown expectations? Keep it coming. You will shrug at such setbacks, as they don't affect your mood anymore.

You'll tell people you moved from Canada, and they will underestimate your experience. They'll make beaver jokes, and try to make a mockery of Canadian politeness. Except they have no idea what they're dealing with. They will be dealing with a Torontonian, and would be wise to know the difference. To everyone currently living in Toronto - do not be bitter. Instead, feel sorry for your future "competition." I do.

Could it be that some guys would think Toronto is not that hard, because they are used to LA, NY, London, Paris etcetc....and in comparison with those places Toronto isn't that bad at all?

I am coming from the perspective of a visitor to Toronto.

The guys arguing with me are coming from a perspective of living in Toronto.
