For people who started traveling later in their life...how was it? Did you go crazy and approach every girl like a manic fresh out of prison? Is my head going to explode when I hop off of the plane?

Depends where you go (obviously), I found that when I first arrived in Colombia, it took me a couple of weeks to adjust to everything before I really started doing well with the women. Culture shock is a weird experience and affects everyone differently.

Scotian, do you feel that it took you a long time to adjust because it was your first major travel experience or was it Colombia in particular? I have a month to travel and I cannot decide if I should go back to Brazil or hit Colombia for the first time.

Going back to somewhere you are already a little familiar with can be great, gives you a head start.

On the subject of age: Out of interest, how old were you guys when you took your first solo trip abroad and where was it to?

Just did mine last year (actually it was also my first time, sans going to the boundary waters of Canada, I had ever went anywhere outside the U.S.) at age 18. I went to Belize for a month. It was hands down the best thing I ever did and it really changed my life.

I had the head explosion thing last summer in Ukraine, no exaggeration, I was so overwhelmed with pussy on the streets I felt sick in the head, l couldn't take it in, closest thing to heaven on earth. Probably was getting 20 erections a day.

Will be back this weekend I think. I will have to discipline myself hard this time or I will do zero work all summer. It just takes one phone call, "deb, me and johnny are at the outdoor cafe, fluff everywhere", "be there in ten minutes", stagger home at 6am with a tart

It wasn't my first travel experience, I think it had to do with my hosts brainwashing me into believing I was going to get rolled any time I stepped on the streets, they were overly paranoid. Once I was on my own (after 4 days) I got used it there and realized its not as bad as they were saying, but you have to be careful down there for sure.

It took me awhile to adjust to everything like the city itself, language barrier, etc but once I got comfortable, I was good to go and ended up having a great trip there, I recommend it as a place to go.

Since this is the anything goes thread and i have apparently decided to blow my day on Rooshv because of a shitty half market day. I am going to add a couple of recent photos of Montreal! I didn't want to soil the I LOVE MONTREAL sheet with this photo...

[attachment=6692]
Tokyo bar... his name is Elvis he shows up here to dance by himself regularly apparently(all of this is knowledge from bartender). I tried using him as an opener/conversation starter.

Next photo is Muzik... this is why i have question marks on if G likes this type of venue... I am going to put a large wager on no at this point now that i've read more of his posts, anyway was much cooler than Tokyo bar IMHO for mid twenties bracket.

Loving the Polish girls on this vk.com. I don't know if it's because I'm acting like a "GQ Latin Playboy" on my page with Salsa songs all over it or what, but it's a million times better than American dating sites. I wonder if they would all flake on me if I was heading out there next month. I think their big noses are cute [Image: lol.gif]

I moved out of the US in 2008 to Italy for two years. After that I moved to S. Korea for a year, and now reside in Germany until 2015. Ample traveling inbetween work. These have definitely been the best years of my life. I do miss small things from the states at times. Not having to wake up at 4am to watch the NBA Finals or waiting forever for Google to make certain services work outside the states, etc. Other than that, life is good.

As mentioned in the language threads, after spanish, russian and portuguese, all other things being equal, what is the consensus next best language to learn to have a great time traveling, meeting women? I say probably french b/c it gives you access to: white swiss & french chicks, bootyfull west africans (a la Naughtynomad), maghreb girls, and lebanese girls.

That's a whole lot of diversity from a single language.

Personally if I knew the three languages mentioned, the next one I would learn would be Chinese,it would open me up to a lot of adventures and multiple millions of women. French is not used in any country I want to visit except France itself.

The North Korean government have opened ( they've been around for a while ) restaurants in Asian countries and staffed them with especially flown in North Korean waitresses who are loyal to the regime.

Here is the talent on offer in the Bangkok branch:

I'm only posting this in the hope that Rio Nomad will go corrupt one of the waitresses and strike a blow against tyrrany on behalf of RVF.

I would love to do that, but I don't want to indirectly be responsible for these pretty young women being stoned to death for sleeping with the enemy. I would also prefer to not have any run ins with North Korea's version of the CIA.

Yea the 1.6B ppl fact does make a strong argument, despite the comparatively low percentage of talent. You don't wanna visit Lebanon, Switzerland, or Morocco?

Personally, I've been trying to muster up the enthusiasm to learn mandarin, but its tough for me to really light the fire as I feel im doing it primarily for career prospects which imo is usually not enough to fully sustain the commitment of learning a new language.

I remember reading about those places a few years back. Interesting places and they sell dog meat soup apparently, yum!

According to Wiki they have one in Holland:
Quote:Quote:

The first Western outpost of the restaurant chain was officially opened in Osdorp, a residential neighborhood in the outskirts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in February of 2012. The menu and policies of this restaurant differ from its Asian counterparts, with no dog meat or ginseng wine being served and photography allowed.

I think dog meat is a good protein, no? Can anyone vouch for the strength increases gained when eating 200 grams of dog meat a day and going all out in the weight room?

Wow. I hear that dog meat is a little common in China, but Illegal in some places. I also heard that its slowly starting to become frowned upon.
