I didn't find much in the forum about JDate. Does anyone have experience to compare/contrast it with Match, Plenty of Fish, OKCupid, etc.?

FYI, JDate is a paid online dating site for Jewish people. I presume you would also use it if you are urban, educated, like brunettes, etc.

Do you think JDate is for mostly orthodox Jews, or just about anybody with some Jewish heritage? I ask because if there aren't a lot of girls on it that are DTF, it seems like a waste of time.

I'd imagine, that most women on there are there to meet Jewish guys specifically, otherwise they'd use okcupid or pof.

From my experience American Jewish girls aren't that hot, but they're very promiscuous and easy to lay.

Jdate is an absolute goldmine IF:

You live in an area with a major Jewish population(NYC, DC, Boston, Chicago, LA, SF, Toronto, Israel)

If you are Jewish.(IMO there is NO reason to even attempt if you are Jewish)

Go for it, why not. I banged 1 or 2 girls from Jdate back in 03-04 before I even knew what I was doing.

I used Jdate within the last year, and I did not have a good experience. The girls were uglier and just plain weirder than the ones I met off OKC. And that's weird as in socially stunted, nerdy or mannish, not hip, eccentric and freaky like I like it. My results may have been hurt by being a little outside the city, but the girls on there were strange. And the girls who were near me would not agree to meet up. Also, I was a little too young for most of the girls. They're looking for a serious boyfriend or a husband, and are understandably biased against younger guys.

I did like that you could IM anyone online though.

Here's a data sheet on JDate. I'd be curious to hear from other who have experience from it.

Like I said earlier, unless you're in a location that has a large Jewish population, pickings will be slim and you'll be wasting your time. Additionally, the Jewish community is rather close knit, so you may be messaging/dating/fucking girls who float in the same social circles. This is not a problem in NYC, but I have a friend in Toronto who ran into problems because of this.

Lastly, do not bother unless you're Jewish. Now I know you can just decide to lie about it, but unless you look Jewish, you will be passed over by girls on JDate.

Now for the perks:

If you are Jewish and have any semblance of game, you should have signed up for JDate yesterday. I've used a friend's account as an experiment in both NYC and Boston, and literally had so many girls who were willing to go out on dates that we were double booking girls, only for them to meet me on a date, while my friend was on another date, and wonder why I looked absolutely nothing like the profile pictures they saw. As a result, I had girls storming out because I wasn't Jewish or wasn't what they thought. But those stories are for another time.

Nonetheless, you can literally have a date any night of the week if you have decent profile pictures and a decent profile. The male competition is the epitome of beta.

Using their IM feature, which you can't turn off, all it takes is a decent message and you'll end up with a 75% response rate. 10 minutes of banter is all it takes for a number. A quick text of two, and you've got yourself a date for the night. I've always found Jewish girls to be promiscuous, so a SNL is very much in play. In fact, these girls, coming from 'white picket fence' upbringings love an offer of coming to your place for a home cooked meal. Break out the wine and figure out the rest.

If JDate was free, I'd be on it all the time, but the hit rate for a non-Jew is too low to justify the 40 bucks a month for it.

I didn't have very much success on it. I got one bang from it when I was back in Chicago and a few dates.

Perhaps I wasn't playing the system right. Maybe I should have only waited to IM online girls instead of sending out random messages. Beware that the profiles tend to have far less info on them than OkCupid which made crafting messages more difficult for me.

I agree with the comments above that the talent level is below OkCupid. Also, there are only so many girls in play so after about a month you should have sifted through the entire eligible field. Also, most of the girls seem to be looking for something serious and the majority of girls on there are in the 24+ age range though you will find a decent number of college age girls providing you are in one of those prime areas.

Neglected to mention these, but I found them to be true of JDate as well. Girls on JDate tend to be more cookie cutter and narrow-minded.

You serious dog. To each their own tho. My eye is not as good as most for picking them ot but I thin I am alright, I find a lot of them look good though (I had no idea off that list that all them broads other than Nataile Portman was Jewish. 90% of the list are celebs I rank really high in my personal tastes tho).

But for me its either they are hot or butt ugly. I think that's the same for Arab girls too (IMO), either they are stunning, really cute, or look like they got hit by a bus in the face, very little vanilla faces/plain janes.

Man I remember walking around Columbia University and Washington Heights and being floored at all the sex brunette Jew girls I seen. My jaw was open the whole time.
