Sheet: Tomatoes (cooked)

First, I'd like to say that I hesitate that tomato made sauce, dried, fried, boiled or prepared in whatever way will have more properties than one just picked from the plant, the fresher the better.

Said that, I'd recommend you to forget about miracle canned bullshit or whatsoever commercial stuff loaded with conservants, colorants, and E-666 kind of poisons. As long as you can stick to your good old greengrocer's to keep a good solid suply of fresh vegetables and if you have the time grow your own and introduce them in your game.

For example, I grow herbs, vegetables and edible flowers in my terrace. Imagine the face of the girl when you invite her for lunch and say you run out of cherry tomatoes for the salad, ask her to pick some for the terrace and found your what you have there [Image: biggrin.gif] or once she is home for a drink; you prepare a mojito and ask her to pick the mint leaves herself from the pot in the terrace. I've lost the count of how many women have uploaded pics of my terrace on their facebooks.

It's because Lycopene binds to the fibre present in the fresh tomato and it hinders the absorption once inside of the stomach. Nobody is saying deep fry a tomato, but roasting, cooking down, or a nice sauce with Olive Oil is a good way to break down the Tomatoes to concentrate the Lycopene and neither of the above stated are bad for you. The sugar, salt, and chemical laden packaged/processed tomato are what you should stay away from as they are no better then candy but there is a clear reason to why the cooked options are better.

For my supper yesterday I made a tomato smoothie with these ingrediants:

1 Can of Tomato Paste
1 Stalk of Celery
1 Cup of Fresh Spinach
Dash of hot sauce
Black pepper
Salt
Slash of Lemon Juice
2 Ice Cubes
Water

Blended that up in the Magic Bullet and drank it down with my supper. It was refreshing and tasted really good.

and I am imagining showing a girl my garden and flowers and am consequently imagining never getting laid again, do you show them how well you can fold laundry to get them into the bedroom?

You're what you eat, buying good quality produces or producing your own are the best investment you can make. The kitchen game works pretty well on a regular basis. Maybe the effort is not worth for girls you'll never see again but I'd recommend it for friends with benefits, 99% sure they'll repeat unless you're lame in either bed or cooking because girls nowadays are lazy as hell and have become completely useless in the kitchen and they really appreciate a good meal.

About having flowers gardens etc in your terrace. If you live in a place with 2900 hours per year, and where you enjoy mild temperatures and sun shines while they freeze in the rest of the continent it's worth to have a space like this at home:

Agreed, especially on the 'never see them again' part. I was also thinking more 'farmers garden' instead of 'patio with plants'. Chicks love that stuff, its like a carpeted window sill to a cat.

Just experimented a bit,

1l of water
140g of tomato puree
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
2 teaspoons of kosher salt

Pretty good and crazy close in taste to the premade juice I got from shop. Perhaps less salt next time.

1 week in after restarting tomatos. 1 can of tomato paste or equivalent per day. Results are good, skin looks better, summer good instead of winter dry white ghost.
