What is your favorite beer?

I used to spend alot of money per beer. If you pay for it, you usually get great beer (in my opinion). As I've aged though I've been looking to include my cheapness with my beer choices. That being said, I usually and happily settle on:

#2
#3
All made in Wisconsin, all in the lager family, all taste pretty good, all dirt cheap.
If I wanted to splurge: Harp, Guiness, Hobgoblin, spotted cow, any samuel smiths, or samuel adams, fat tire, moose drool.
Oh and on the retired list. Red Maple beer now defunct but once made in Sault Ste. marie ontario. Dark beer made with maple syrup. Amazing but now no more.

Moosehead is a good, cheap, imported beer in the bottle at about $20/case. Out of Newfoundland, I think it's cheaper in the northeast than other areas. They go down easy.

Chimey, rogue shakespear stout, sierra nevada pale ale and unfiltered wheat, leffe, a 50/50 mix of raspberry lambic and pear cider (it's a good chick drink).
You can work stupid, but you can't fix a fat body.

I think those are all pretty decent 'go-to' type beers (except for Left Hand, which I've never tasted).
I'm not trying to "white knight' for Roosh re Budweiser, but I have drank a lot of it (the American variant) in my life and think it's a half-decent beer. So I don't understand the hate on Bud really - it's not bad, and years ago used to be considered a 'premium beer.' (does anyone remember the old Meisterbrau slogan "Tastes as good as Budweiser...at a better price"??)
I just think sometimes that the anti-American beer perspective (which used to be fairly true, but no longer is) jades some people on US beers.

I forget what brand it was, but I had this India Dark Ale at the Asgard Irish Pub in Boston/Cambridge.
Also, up in New England we have the "Heady Topper" by The Alchemist brewery up in Vermont. It is supposed to be the best beer in the country/world? There is a serious limit on even how much you can buy at one time, and it runs out so quick, you have people lining up Fridays just to buy some.

Suits,
No. I'm from, and currently live in, Maryland but went to school at U of M. It was there that I was pleasantly introduced to Founder's and Bell's. I never would have imagined Michigan to have two of the better breweries in the country (or world, according to BeerAdvocate.com).
