The year that things really started turning to shit?

I occasionally think back to the late 90s and think about how different certain things were (esp. when it came to females - not so much in the US but certainly in Europe). Also, political correctness had not yet reached through to all corners of society. I still have trouble however pin pointing when the trends of PC & radical feminism, etc. took over full-force. It all seemed to gradually get worse, so that it is hard to pin point an exact event or year that was defining.

Any idea what that year was? (if it existed)

Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (VAWA) is a United States federal law (Title IV, sec. 40001-40703 of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, H.R. 3355) signed as Pub.L. 103-322 by President Bill Clinton on September 13, 1994.

Somewhere around 1994, it's been all downhill since then. Or if you wanna go all the way back to the genesis of radical feminism I would guess late 60's.

Radical feminist Frances Willard used congress to force public schools to teach her propaganda. Born 1839. Open Lesbian. Had over a quarter million supporters that pushed through her agenda everywhere.

Radical feminism has been going on a lot longer than the 1960s. But the self-obsessed Baby Boom loves to pretend they invented everything.

"Alpha children wear grey. They work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever. I'm awfully glad I'm a Beta, because I don't work so hard. And then we are much better than the Gammas and Deltas. Gammas are stupid. They all wear green, and Delta children wear khaki. Oh no, I don't want to play with Delta children. And Epsilons are still worse. They're too stupid to be able to read or write. Besides they wear black, which is such a beastly color. I'm so glad I'm a Beta."

I was going to go say the same thing. That is where women learned that their nagging could push policy.

The Anita Hill/Clarance Thomas issue came up in 1991. That was the first time women collectively put their feet down and said "beta males may not say anything to us that is sexual in nature." It would have never come to the forefront if old Clarance looked and spoke like Denzel. The was also when the concept of political correctness took root in the mainstream. The incident with William Kennedy Smith also occurred in '91. It doesn't get much press these days, but that's when it was decided that a woman could withdraw her consent AFTER the sex act was over. The nonsense those girls on the slutwalks write on their posters was inspired by that. Even though he was acquitted, Smith is still targeted for allegations of sexual misconduct from time to time.

In some ways, everything before '91 was child's play. Yes, the events prior to that year, set the stage for the insanity we have now, but '91 is when it all came together with political correctness, the potential for a ruined career for doing anything a woman decides she might not like while at work, and of course "I feel bad because I'm a slut, so now I'll accuse you of rape."

Yeah the 90s is when the feminist overreach began. "Sexual harassment" is something they just made up out of thin air.

But I think it took another 10 years, in the 00s, for it to finally filter in the brains of mainstream women.

The ultra PC/sexual harassment age started in 1991 with the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings. I guess she didn't like the ol' pubic hair on a coke can game he tried to run on her. (if that shit even really happened)

I will go on a limb and say the golden age for unapologetic male behavior was in the 50s (like Don Draper).
Smoking, drinking, and fucking were all the rage.

I think the second or third feminist wave was some time in the mid nineties.
I was indoctrinated in all this beta religious shit in the mid 90s in Catholic grade school. I was taught to respect women at the expense of my sexuality, fault myself for the bad behavior of women, and demonize all men in divorces.
They (all church going Biblical type worshipers) should renounce all religion, because all they do is worship the ground women walk on. This is why I'm a committed atheist.

Atheist? Really? I'm not exactly down with religion either, but you can't be certain there isn't some kind of god.

I'm pretty extreme, yeah. You don't really seize the day until you realize that you do not have many left, and that's it. Religion never did me any good.

It was during the 80's that the "campaign" against deadbeat Dad's came into effect and started to throw father's into jail for missing child support payments.

But it was during the late 70's that no-fault divorce began. I would pin the start of decline there.

70's: No fault-divorce, the start of academic game
80's: "Campaign Against Deadbeat Dads", Men were thrown into jail for missing overbearing child support payments, the beginning of false rape accusations
90's: VAWA
00's: 50%+ Obesity Rate, Acceptance of Gay's

But we can go even further, and pin the start of decline with woman's suffrage, since without the right to vote, none of the events in the past 50 years would have happened.

It's always been shit (good), and it'll always be shit (good.)

You can pinpoint a year because of how bad things happened in that year, but you can also take things in your life that you're thankful for and make that one of the highlights of all time.

For instance, culturally according to my priorities, the West lost its Will to Power after WWII, so I could say that was the start of it being shit. I could also say things monumentally picked up in the late nineties, because thats when the Internet made it to where I live, changing my access to info forever. At once things are both good and bad about society, kind of like the middle ages; no tax was good, but death by plague was bad.

As far as feminism, it is just a shit test; part of the evolutionary arms race that started 3.5 billion years ago when reproductive strategy was first introduced into life forms.

This gives me a thought, maybe shit testing increases in magnitude relative to how safe males are in the society. Think about it, everyone keeps referencing Don Draper as a golden age of masculinity, but figure this is coming after World War II and Korea, both of which had drafts. Going back further you have thousands and thousands of years of constant warfare until you get back to paleolithic tribal pointed stick fights.

Perhaps women don't shit test as hard when a substantial proportion of the male population is biting it at a young age, owing to supply and demand. Obesity skews it even further by disproportionately (heh) affecting females.
