This is one of the great questions. It addresses common decency, morality, and even criminality. I would seriously be tempted not to tell potential partners about my infection, because once you drop that bomb on someone, you KNOW the answer is going to be no. I wouldn't want to stop having sex, and even using condoms wouldn't guarantee that you wouldn't infect someone. You have to be concerned with all body fluids. It wouldn't be a big deal for me to use condoms all the time, as I do now anyway. Maybe I would just bang hookers - they accept certain risk as part of the job.

Be sure to use a condom with the HIV+ chick. You don't wanna get a superinfection (srsly) which could render some drugs useless. More info about reinfection here

You touched on some key points here. It's getting hard to imagine that there's an increasing number of people who do not associate AIDS with death. If you're under the age of 25 AIDS you see it as a manageable health condition like diabetes or high blood pressure. But if you're over 25 and under 60, you can't bang a fresh piece without the thought of HIV/AIDS running through your mind. Condom complacency these days is shocking when you consider that the "receptive" partner is very likely to have a high notch count.

And the other thing, even though it may not mean certain death, for many people AIDS/HIV means certain poverty. A lot of people with it receive some kind of medical assistance, but to qualify for that, you have to have a shit income. If you don't qualify, then you have to spend all of your money on drugs to stay alive. Yet that tidbit is always omitted when we hear stories of someone who's had it for 25 years.

I think it's pretty low to bang clean chicks if you know you've got it. Ignoring the death sentence element, the lifelong financial burden you place on them is just malicious and cruel.

I think I'd go find other HIV+ girls and tempt fate on the reinfection thing.

Herpes is some nasty, painful, forever shit. You and your boy need to have a talk. Since you did the intro, she'll hold you responsible and will assume you knew, despite your denials. I'd ask him to end it. If he doesn't want to tell her the truth about why, he can make something up. But he should tell her. If he won't, you should tell her. If she catches it from him, she may try to sue BOTH of you.
