At about 4 AM in Munich last night I was treated to an American bro who apparently didn't have the keycard to his hostel room and his other bros were asleep, which was, like, totally unbro, so this bro had to spend about half an hour yelling loudly for his bros, waking up the entire hostel. This city seems to be a magnet for drunken moronic Brits and Americans who think that they're experiencing culture by having a giant beer and a soft pretzel.

Also, while walking along the main drag yesterday I noticed I was able to easily spot the American girls by their giant Paris Hilton sunglasses, long before I was close enough to pick up the valley girl speak.

Ah well, soon I'll be in the Czech Republic, with nice pretty slavic girls instead of overweight nazis and drunk tourists...

Paff, Typical stupid behavior you have to get accostumed while doing some traveling. Those american/brits and other anglo bastards are basically everywhere with their annoying attitudes (sorry If I insulted someone here Is just the way I feel it).

Western women are part man. Just on friday I had some tattooed hag on the street randomly start kicking my friend in the back of the knee. Part male brain + masculine fashion + drunk = a man with a vagina.

wtf!? how'd your homie react?

He turned around and started yelling WTF is wrong with you then she decided to grab my ass. We just walked as fast as we could away, she had two women and a guy with her. Four vs two teenage boys is a not a good match up especially when they have bottles. Best to just ignore this shit instead of risking starting a fight with them.

I'm in a beach town in Cambodia right now and this place is full of stereotypes. Stereotypical Russians, English, Americans, Germans, French, Spanish backpackers and the common theme with them all is they are fucking annoying. Rowdy, drunk (it's not even 4pm and half of them can barely stand and are getting out of hand), loud, full of themselves, arrogant. It's like being in a shitty Spanish holiday resort except in Cambodia.

It's the same where I am now, there's nothing Cambodian about this place. It's all British / American style pubs, western food and cheap beer and the only locals are the ones working in the tourist industry. All these European and American backpackers just travel round from backpacker hotspot to backpacker hotspot getting a Westernised version of the local culture and having no interaction with locals except those that work in the hostels, bars, drive the taxis etc.

Do you see the recurring theme here? Hostel/backpacker=low funds=low social class. Middle class and up from any society tend not to act like that. Trash is trash.

Solution? Stay out of the hostels.

All travelers go through phases. Many of us have already passed the hostel stage so it is not hard for us to look down on those whose main goal is to get drunk and hang out with other foreigners.

For the record I don't stay in hostels. Private rooms only for me in hotels or guest houses but these people are unavoidable, they are everywhere in this town which I just happen to be in. I came here 4 years ago as a backpacker and loved it, I see thatI might not like it too much now that i've moved away from this scene. Every baR & restaurant is catered to them and even tho i've been here for less than 6hrs they are pissing me off so much. I've seen so much stupidity by them today, ordering food and drinks then trying to pay in euros and thai baht, this is Cambodia they accept dollars and cambodian reals, then refusing to go get acceptable currency and arguing with the staff. Asking to book bus tickets to the capital tonight then when they are told the last bus already left throwing a tantrum saying they NEED to be there tomorrow morning they have a flight to catch, try booking the bus a little earlier or doing some research you idiots. A bus turned up and one of the girls was told to go ask the conductor if there was space, she went and came back saying to her friend that there was making their goodbyes and the bus drove away, I've never laughed so hard in my life. It's just a fraction of the stupidity i've seen today, i wont even get started on the rowdy, drunks acting like idiots abroad, men and women.

I can't shake the idea that if I just wanted to binge drink, I'd do that at home for thousands of dollars less. Course my mentality seems to lead to me pounding museums too hard during the day in order to see everything and being worn out for nightlife.

These days, it's just not that hard to be in the top 20% of guys in America. How do you do it?

Just be fit. Seriously. There are so many fat guys out there. Ugly ones. Mediocre ones. Even handsome ones. I came across a 12 y.o. kid last week who should be having girls his age chasing him. But he can't. Because he's addicted to food and is fat.

At this rate, no wonder healthcare is bankrupting this country.

I'm not looking down on anyone Roosh, just making an observation from staying anywhere from hostels to $350 a night hotels. The only attitude I had from American bitches abroad was in hostels, or the fat NGO pigs and their "almighty" attitude.

Those arrogant loud bitches act that way when at home. Again, trash is trash. I don't get too much of it as I try to stay off the beaten path, for cultural and exotic factors.

Funny, I've never seen that piss poor attitude in public in the Middle East, not from American women at least. Gotta love the culture over here.

I don't stay in hostels.

It isn't like people who do stay in hostels never leave the hostel.

The recurring theme is bad manners. Plenty of middle class people behave the same. I haven't met a person on food stamps and welfare traveling to other countries.

I must have been lucky!
Most of the Americans I've met abroad have been pretty cool .
Adventurous,educated,polite to the locals etc

But it is true that once a nation's average wage overtakes the IQ of too many of it's citizens you tend to see far too many people abroad who should be kept home ,whatever country they're from.

It's just a product of mass tourism and travel...it's not just a wealthy or at least educated person's past time anymore...since the 70's really.

The days of only the elite of America or G.Britain doing the Grand Tour of Europe and sunning themselves on the Riviera are long gone.

It's opened up to every scumbag that can afford the relatively cheap ticket.

Cheap flights over Europe have done a lot of damage to some nice places, with Brits , but the locals still like and need the money so they put up with the idiots!

I'm closer to 40 than 20 though so I'm sure I'd be drinking and making merry more if I was on the younger side.

What about the Euro's that come here? Way worse than us. Fanny packs and sandals, pinching pennies all over the place with those funny nerd glasses they wear. Way worse! I know were bad but they are way worse. Even in the Dominican Republic the street people say they're easy targets and watch their asses when dealing with us. Fuck, in Greece they freak out if you want ice in your drink or some A/C..Amerikey this Amerikey that.

Our girls though..Whoa! I may have said a few times. Every time when traveling I miss them a little then when I find one I say to myself WTF was I thinking. I could have sworn that they wanted to call the cops on me in the DR for the shit I was pulling there. Bad travelers and hater/blockers abroad. I did get the same shit from some German girls there though.

Anyway..

American guys #1 We will come and take your pussy so don't kid yourselves. A strong crew will demolish anybody, anyplace.

American girls? You can keep them. They're easy to fuck when they aren't complaining about the food or taxi ride.

Geez, what is a random fat American chick even doing in "Industrial Shithole"? I would have thought Roosh and maybe a couple of other simmilar minded men would be it as far as Americans in a random FSU industrial city were concerned. Frankly starting shit in bars in a rough town, in a rough country that is not yours is monumentally stupid for anyone, male or female. She's lucky she's still in one fucking piece.

As for American stereotypes. Most of the Americans I've met outside their country have been pretty cool. But emphasis on the word MET. If I think someone is an asshole/bitch, or a chick is fat, I just don't initiate contact. If they approach me I'll just (politely) dissengage.

The "large and in charge" attitude is going to be a problem for Western women who are not lesbians. The kind of men they hook up with will be.......interesting. In some other cultures it seems that largeness and attitude in women are more tolerated by men. I definitely dont support this, and am about as far from being a "cultural relativist" as it's possible to be, but it does seem to be the case.

Here in South Africa, for example, it is very common amongst the Black population to see couples were the woman is substantially bigger/heavier than the man. In poorer communities especially the men are usually very skinny and the women obese. To a Westerner it is quite comical to be honest. But people still hook up and the circle of life goes on. I've been trying to figure out the dynamic at work, but have only got to the point that the women are bigger because they eat more than the men. i.e. I've got nowhere at all.

As for a constructive suggestion. Just accept that a lot of people are not going to be to your liking. In your journey through life engage those who are signifcantly to your liking, disengage if possible from those who are significantly to your DISliking, and decide on a case by case basis on those in the middle. Happiness ensues.

There's an American women in the net cafe I'm in and she's just thrown a massive strop over skype at her boyfriend about something that sounded so trivial, being a total bitch. Then she told the travel agent she needed a visa for Vietnam or something today, they told her not possible takes 48hrs then she said "YOU DONT UNDERSTAND I NEED THE VISA TODAY" in this really condesending, slow and loud voice as if they were just stupid and that they didn't understand how important she was. Then she argued with them over whether a bus should cost $5 or not as she knew a Cambodian who only paid $3. Fucking idiot, there's about 1000 more people just like her in this town from all over Europe. Cheap and full of their own self importance.

That's just arrogance. I pisses me off when someone that is no one back in their country go to the 3rd world and treat people like shit, or expect more because they are from a "rich" country. What makes it worse is places like Thailand rely heavily on tourism and have to swallow pride when dealing with idiots, like the fat American bitch. I would have made fun of her to the locals she was dealing with, and had her walking out crying. Fuck her. See Alphatravel, you made me pissed off just hearing that story. I'm having a bad day anyway.

I'll make it a point to shut down asshole touristas in the DR. Will report back, and may even shoot video. Fuckit, why not?

It IS often possible to break the rules. But you need to get the people responsible on your side. And you do that by being smooth, charming and convincing, not by being a bitch or asshole. It's people like the ones you described above who end up being treated badly while on holiday because of their attitude and then return home and bad-mouth the country. They need to realise that it is their attitude that gets them poor treatment. Even if the staff can't directly confront a tourist behaving badly due to company policy, using "passive aggresion" opens up a whole world of opportunity for them to get their revenge. Mysteriously, it's the obnoxious tourist whose entree comes out done all wrong while everyone else's is just right, who ends up it the rubbish hotel room right above the nightclub entrance etc. etc.

This is very true. I lived in Europe and money doesn't come as readily as it does in America. In America, due to the lower taxes, higher salaries and more chances to hustle (whether one is a dummy or smart), money can come readily.

However, there is a foundation laid down by European countries and most cats you speak to are very intelligent (compared to North America).

I was with a lizard some years back here and she said "Oh, Moma, I was debating with my manager over where Zurich is"
I said to her "My geography is not all that but I do know it is in Switzerland"
She responded "Wow, you are so intelligent"

This is when I knew I was in serious trouble.

Damn. That sounds like she has a bit of aspergers. She is used to something, and things don't follow a certain routine, she freaks out. That is what autistic children do.

Negative American stereotypes

Quote: (04-21-2012 10:18 AM)Roosh Wrote:

Americans are known for being fat and loud, and this girl confirmed it to a crowded room of foreigners. I think this stereotype will get stronger as time goes on.

I was just waiting for a chance to share this. Two nights ago, I'm at an bar, talking with a girl, when an old, fat, short ugly American tourist steps in between us and "opens me" by asking for a light or something. I tell her no, she starts talking some nonsense and i politely tell her that she's interrupting and turn away.

But she won't leave, keeps touching me and trying to get my attention in a very obnoxious way. I'm generally uncomfortable when uglies hit on me, and getting annoyed because she is basically cockblocking at this point, so I grab her by the shoulders and tell her as firmly and as politely as i can that's she's drunk, embarrassing herself, that it's nothing personal but i'm not interested. I even use the expression "no means no", heh. An even fatter American drags her away, and i forget about it.

Some 10 minutes later she's back, obviously pissed, and starts yelling that "the way i'm treating her will come back at me and some day some girl will give you the same you arrogant dick". She's shoving me at this point, my friends are yelling things like "just fuck her already", everybody is watching and i just want to fucking punch her, but i can't since i go there all the time and don't want to get kicked out because of a stupid cow. So i signal to a bouncer, he gets it and he drags her off me.

That's not the end. Five minutes later, i hear a crashing noise behind me, turn around and see the same bouncer fucking guillotine choking her and dragging her out the door. She's flailing around, breaking the decor, everybody is laughing and cheering at this point. Her even fatter friend is yelling something about an embassy and how we can't treat them this way, and an hour later, while we are leaving, she's still in front of the bar, sitting on the tiles and sobbing.

I never saw that type of behavior from an Euro girl. Sure, they freak out, but reserve the behavior for more private environments. Also - not one whiteknight in the room, but rather a mass public shaming fest, from both girls and men.

I'm glad i live here.
