Also lots of German girls visit northern Italy(Florenz,Verona etc) because it is very close.They can get there in 15 hours or less by train.The italian cities are flood with German tourists and Italian guys swarm on them like new Roman legionnaires.

I often hear about how European cities are "vacant" during certain months in the summer. Is this an exaggeration at all? As an American where we are used to little or no vacation time, I can't wrap my head around the notion than entire major cities will shut down while everyone is away on vacation for a month.

Basically the populations which move out are mostly the students who have 2 months summer vaccation(July,August).In the case of Poland many students go abroad to work in summer jobs during vaccations.(we wait for them).German women almost never work during vaccations.They visit the whole of Europe to get a Weltanschauung(Spain is also very close due to the very fast railway line Paris-Barcelona.So a German girl can be either in Italy or Spain in just 12-15 hours by train from her city.It is a shame Balkan rail system is so antiquainted that we do not have this pleasure and rely only on charter flights).

I have pretty much decided that my summer will be spend on the black sea.

Odessa and Sunny Beach in Bulgaria.

The only other place i'm really tempted by is the Greek Islands, just for the sheer variety of girls. More expensive in Greece though.

Exactly this is the problem.As long as you set foot there you are regarded as cheap tourist who cannot afford a better destination.(opposite to that being on Rhodes or Mykonos is an instant DHV since they are more expensive places).

Good point, although I'm not sure many will be looking into these kind of things too deeply, especially my target group which is the under 23's.

One thing I am worried about is all the guys, what with the economy the way it is, the chav English kids will be looking for the cheapest European Resorts, Sunny Beach will be high in the search results.
