And, that chart is silly. It's comparing expenditure with profit. A weird, perplexing comparison.

Money is power.

Who spends the most has the most power.

Wait.

I thought we said on here that Money doesn't help you get girls?

So Power doesn't help you get girls
?

I am confused.

Please advise.

Unfortunately, societies that emphasize luck over logic are not likely to thrive.

That is so true. No better case study than Europe. The countries faring the worst in the crisis are the Med ones where thinking based on luck (and who you're lucky to know) is more important than logic and skill.

I think people are confused about this- money and can help you get girls, but you don't need it to get them.

That's a good way to put it. Money helps.

The entrepreneurial spirit is still dictated by the economy. Add to that, one has to almost "run themselves ragged" in order to fulfill their entrepreneurial spirit. I know guys with their own business grossing about $20,000 more than me. That's $12,000-$14,000 net and they have to stay on that business almost 24/7. They have to always ask "man...who won the game last night?".

I think the guy on TED is right.

This youthful generation of men aren't men. They are becoming a lost generation. Whether it is through the fault of their own or because they've been lied to about life constantly for at least 60 years is irrelevant.

I know he says men should be able to dance, but he's a product of the ridiculous system too.

Face it, take five random guys from five high streets across the western world. Would you want to be stuck on a desert island with only them to help you? Make it worse, would you want to be on a desert island with limited resources and only two women for them to fight over, whilst they had a magical voice in their ear telling them if they didn't worry about tomorrow and only went with 'what felt right' they'd be ok?

Could you trust them as far as you could throw a stick?

If you could, would you sleep easy knowing that there are other people from other islands whose magical whisperers are decidedly different from your own islanders', and that they are coming on boats to get to your island?

The main problem with Fight Club's storyline is that its a retarded premise. All those former IKEA customers destroying the credit culture? Convenient how the plot ends before we see the realisation of that dream. Being a lost generation isn't to be glorified. It's fucked.

/tangent.
