Getting a brazilian visa requires naturalization (2nd citzenship). You'll need to:
1 - Apply for a permanent VISA
2- live in Brazil for four years (less, if maried or have kids)
3-read and writte in portuguese (the basic will do)
4-have a job and prove income
5-"previous good behaviour" (have done time in jail is not good behaviour)
6-good health

OR

1- live in Brazil for 15 years, not have been convicted to any crime

Extradition can occur:

1-convicted to a crime that was commited prior to the naturalization
2 - drug dealing at any time

*if you are born in a Portuguese speaking country it is easier
** if you are Portuguese its piece of cake

Question for people with 2 Passports......
Lets say you have a US and French Passport...., When you travel to Europe do you depart US on French passport and enter Europe on French passport and come back to US using US Passport ?

No. When you depart the US you show the airline the US passport. If you go to the country where Americans need a visa but French do not, you also show them your French passport.

When you enter the destination country, you can use whatever passport you want. Exception: if you enter the country which issued the passport, it typically requires you to only enter on their passport.

When you fly back to US, you show the airline both passports, and when you enter the US you show the CBP your US passport only.

Someone answer my questions please on Dual Citizenship , U.S.A allows you to have a dual citizenship

USA does not allow dual citizenship. USA allows you to have other citizenship(s) besides the US citizenship. Those are different things. See the link I posted above.

Is the same true for EU contries etc .

Depends on the country. Citizenship laws are different across EU. AFAIR most EU countries do not, and require that you renounce your citizenship when you acquire theirs.

Is it possible to get 2 new passports/citizenships at the same time? Like living in one country but setting up a business also in annother country and also getting an apartment at another country.

I don't think you'll find a lot of countries where you can apply for citizenship without fulfilling the residence requirement.

I believe that being born, to a parent who who is a British citizen, in the States is the only way to obtain another citizenship (UK/GB obviously) without having ever been there.

Brits having kids in the US should apply for their citizenship as soon as possible, and usually do, but I have heard of adults applying, and being granted, citizenship to the UK. With that is a nice red UK/European Union passport to apply for.

Of course I could travel around Europe with my US passport, but this would probably be just for the sake of collecting stamps, or if there are some fly girls from other countries in the Customs line that might want to know me better [Image: wink.gif]
