Things to avoid so people don't mistake you for gay

If you live in a city like Miami, Atlanta, etc. and you have a fly fashion sense, women will assume you are gay just based off that.
Dudes may even inquire as well, but from my experience, dudes tend to be a lot more careful about letting the gaydar go off on just any dude especially when you are physically threatening, i.e. tall, built, etc.
Never take it the wrong way, sometimes women know you're not gay, but they use it just to see if they can get a rise out of you, and don't feel compelled to prove your masculinity.

First of all, stop the hate on turtlenecks!
I have some really nice ones that i wear a lot in winter.
I have never been accused of being gay while wearing one, but it is remarkable how often people assume I am European
Couple of months ago I was at a club wearing a turtleneck and a denim jacket when i was approached by a group of Russian guys who asked me "Russki?" lol
I have an interest in men's style (as opposed to men's "fashion" which is gayish) but I never discuss it with women
Although I have a lot of high end clothing and take care to put together good looks, if a woman compliments me all I say is "Thank you" and change the subject.
I don't want to come across as too fashion conscious i.e. gay or as trying to hard. For the same reasons, as others pointed out, I avoid being too neat and perfect in my look
I'm a strong believer in the concept of "Sprezzatura" the art of studied nonchalance, a topic which probably deserves its own thread here since it fits perfectly into the player's mindset we try to cultivate.
Women definitely do look for small clues that they think, perhaps incorrectly, indicate that a guy is gay, such as drinking girly drinks, knowing about celebrity gossip, caring too much about their appearance, not being interested in sports
I agree that social context is a huge factor, in some circles you could talk with women about art, architecture, literature with no problem while in others you would be branded as gay

I had a buddy in high school who had a vibrating tongue ring lol. He said the girls loved it.
