Took a few more of these tests, ENTJ. As for that link posted above:

Their powerful dynamic presence is almost all the game they need.

This is definitely true. Sometimes it feels like I'm not even really trying or doing anything and girls light up to me.

However, as NT types they need to understand that logic does not work in seduction. As NTJ types they need to realize that seduction not only lacks logic, it also lacks rigid rules and strict order.

This is also true. Even now I'm trying to construct some kind of system to get over my text/phone game sticking point. Very frustrating.

I've taken it before and gotten INTJ, this time I got ISTJ. Funny, because I am actually a scientist, as they say INTJs should be. Oh, they list "geologist" under the ISTJ careers. Guilty as charged then.

I'd say at least 10 questions I could've said either answer, or didn't like either answer, and just picked one because I had to.

I took a few tests, all resulting in ENTP. One of the tests listed strengths and weaknesses that described me quite accurately although, so do a lot of horoscopes. The weaknesses definitely described me 5-10 years ago. I have to actively put effort in to improving all items on the weaknesses list with the exception of these two.

1. Always excited by anything new, they may change partners frequently

2. Although they take their commitments seriously, they tend to abandon their relationships which no longer offer opportunity for growth

I don't see these two items as weaknesses.

Do you guys know your Myers-Briggs personality types? I always thought this was bullshit (on the level of the horoscope), until I got into it a few years ago and started testing a lot of people around me (including girls I was banging). Besides being a fun thing to do with chicks, it's pretty damn fascinating. It'd be interesting to see the spread here on the board, for obvious reasons. I was inspired to start this thread after seeing a Roosh Twitter-update where some random website is guessing he's the same type as me (ENTP).

So, post your personality type.

If you don't know your type, or haven't taken a test in a while, this is a good, short Internet version of the quiz. The more scientific ones are much longer and involved, but this will give you a good sense of what you are.

Be sure to answer the questions as honestly as you can. Not how you would want to be, or how you want to think of yourself, but how you really are. Some of questions are a little fucked up, but do your best on those.

Then, read about your type here and here. The two websites have different perspectives. You can also just google the four-letter combo and read a lot about it that way.

Note: I know there are a lot of "personality tests" out there. But, I believe this one to be one of the most science-based, reliable ones out there. Let's stick to the Myers for the purposes of this discussion.

INTP. It gets me right on the money for the most part. But I do think personalities do have a degree of fluidity. My close friends would find me to be very extroverted, but people I'm not closed to find me to be introverted.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

Same here. I tend to overthink when talking to people I'm not too familiar with but I'm very outgoing around close friends. I have found the more I go out of my way to talk to people the better I get at keeping conversations without thinking. Game has helped drastically with this.

INFJ. Very rare in males. Finding out my personality type was a huge revelation to me, and it's explained so much of my life to date.

I work in IT, but my career has gone nowhere. And that's pretty much down to project managers being ESTJ's, who hate my guts. Meh, they have no imagination. In fact, I've dated 3 ESTJ's, and they also hated my guts.

Well I'm fine with that, because the real bosses in this world are ENTP's. ESTJ's will be stuck in middle management forever.

What am I even doing in IT? That's for INTP's. I can't concentrate for more than 5 minutes. I should have gone into a more creative career, although I have started a lot of businesses along the way. Damn it - I can't stop having ideas.

I don't know whether you're born with your personality type or whether it forms in the first few years of your life. My sister is also INFJ. Anyway, I know that being INFJ was hugely valuable in my early years because I was a small kid in school, yet I never got bullied. I am adept at blending in.

One weird thing of being INFJ is that I absorb feelings from other people. So much so that working in an office is killing me. One co-worker got a bad review, another has a sick mom, and I ended up burning out from all THEIR angst.

As far as dating goes, well ESTJ's are out the window. I had a fairly good relationship with an ISTJ, but it was still tortuous at times. I get on OK with ISFJ's - they seem to be my core circle of friends (not that an INFJ has that many friends). For a long term relationship I'd be good with an ENTP, as I'd get bored with many other types. This kind of explains why I actually did better dating in China than I did in Thailand (a foreigner will meet Chinese ENTP's, but is unlikely to meet Thai ENTP's).

I believe genetics is a strong determinant. My dad and I are both INFJs. Like you, discovering MBTI and my type was a huge revelation.

Funny, I would say it's the ENTJs.
