I honestly think a lot. Most Boomers have an inflated self-esteem and see them as the best generation. A lot of the media is also controlled by the boomers, note how in pop culture very few boomers are portrayed negatively yeah you have the boomer memes but mainstream, there's very few boomer hate and I think that's because they control them and want to keep the mindset that boomers are awesome.
