That's not a lie at all. Those words are brutally honest. She knows exactly what this euphemism translates to, that she has led a very promiscuous life and now that the attention of quality men is waning she would like to latch onto any chance of long term security. Tragically for her, the man she is saying this to also knows what it means, but she lacks the insight to understand that this "confession" diminishes her chance to ever settle down with a man who will keep her satisfied and secure in the long term.
