You might as well strike Ft Collins and Madison from the list. Ft Collins is the home of Colorado State and is extremely liberal. You can get away from it by spending time hiking/fishing/camping in nearby Poudre Canyon and North Park (a bit farther away). You didn’t include “red” or “conservative leaning” on your list, but if that’s important to you (and it seems to be) then you wouldn’t enjoy the atmosphere. It is beautiful though and you’re also fairly close to more conservative places like Cheyenne
Madison is the home of the University of Wisconsin and is also extremely liberal.
Note that Overland Park is on the edge of Kansas City. In a race war scenario you should expect it to spill out there.
