I was considering UT actually and the mormons don't really bother me. Really bad air during the winter around the lake areas, so that's a problem. Perhaps further out or higher up may work.
The mormon food storage regime means that if shit goes south then you're not looking at cannibal hordes to the same degree as most other places.
But in seriously religious places you have to be on the team or you're going to have a hard run of it during tough times.
