I can't speak for the Dalai Lama, but I agree with previous posters - when he said "attractive," he likely meant it in the way that external attractiveness reflects internal attractiveness (i.e., if one has the mindset to exercise, and thus exercises, that attractive mindset will be reflected in an attractive body).

If what you are saying is true, that is red pill as fuck.

As red pill as the Bible is, there is a lot that doesn't make sense to me.

As red pill as the Koran is, most of it is incoherent babbling.

Perhaps it's time to look into something new.

You might find Theravada Buddhist scriptures overly repetitive (they were initially designed to be chanted, and thus have a lot of repetition, almost like the chorus of a song).

The Theravada scriptures, are, however, a good place to start learning about Buddhism in general. A lot of Chinese and Tibetan Buddhism is just extra layering on top of the Theravada scriptures. (Japanese Buddhism is layering upon layering - it relies heavily on Chinese writings).

The first Buddhist scripture I would recommend reading is the first sermon that Buddha gave, the Fire Sermon:

If the message of the Fire Sermon intrigues you, then this introductory 'walk' through the Theravada scriptures will help you learn more (if you didn't like the message of the Fire Sermon, you probably won't like Buddhism in general): http://www.accesstoinsight.org/ptf/index.html
