That may be true but I think identifying the right niche can be just as effective. For me at 44 I don't spend my time concentrating on the 18-24 y.o. "pro hoes" looking to bang pro surfers, snowboarders, athletes musicians and all manner of bad boy cool dudes.
The 25 -35 yo coming off that carousel looking for something a little more "substantial" is right in my wheelhouse and much a more efficient segment for me to focus on.
As soon as I hear an attractive girl, in that age range, in one of my local bars say something like " Yeah I'm so sick of the peninsula I don't go out over there much anymore" I know she's been obsolesced out by the ever renewing fresh crop of young hotties and I almost get wood right there.
It's all about finding and maximizing your niche wherever you are
