I am not saying nor sure this applies to you, but every time a guy friend has stated by telling me a girl is the "sweetest" with no detail, there is more to the story. More to the story could mean she is "manipulative sweet," or even an outright abuser. Again, not sure if this applies to you but it just raised a huge red flag when I read it.
