For the sake of argument, let's say two kids were born today:
1.) Child #1 lives in Europe. His parents are not married.
2.) Child #2 lives in America. His parents are married.
Guess what? The European child born to unwed parents has a better chance of growing up in a two-parent household.
Marriage is a sham and its hold on sexuality and reproduction in the modern era is tenuous at best. If you want kids, go for it, but don't get married to do it.
