I have noticed that guys who like Colombia the most speak fluent Spanish and have a good understanding of the local culture.

While it's a good sign if Mixx gets laid in Colombia, it doesn't say much for the average gringo going down there who has intermediate Spanish at best. From what I've seen, gringos get laid far easier in Brazil than Colombia.

If a guy asks me where he should go in South America, I tell him Brazil. Unless he speaks fluent Spanish that is his best option.
