You don't have to be an expert to know this. A little dialogue with your local health nut, will reveal the lack of nutrition in pork. Its common knowledge around the world. If you don't believe me, go on a date with any hot Japanese, Brazilian, Polish or Russian girl. She will tell you, she doesn't eat pork and she avoids it like the plague.
My neighbor's nutritionist in Brazil paid me a visit. As a relatively younger guy who likes to work out & be active, she made dietary recommendations to me (applicable to ppl of all ages).
Fried Eggs - Can only be eaten once to twice per week MAX
Boiled Eggs - Can eat more often than fried eggs obviously
Pork - Once to twice per week MAX
Chicken and Beef - Good for you though beef offers more nutritional value than chicken overall despite being heavier
Vegetables & Carbs - I will get into this maybe in another thread because I don't want to get off topic too much. Personally, I eat a high concentration of salad, steamed, and/or stir fried veggies daily in order to help my digestive system out.
Back in 2012, I started year off around 155-160 pounds. Once I got in the habit of cooking pork chops & fried eggs for myself, my weight increased to 185 pounds despite running 5 times a week with minimal weight training.
As of now, I'm back at the 157 pound mark while still running but with more diversified weight & ab training not to mention obviously laying off the pork. It's hard because East/SE Asians like myself love fried eggs and pork. I just do it once-two times per week now.
My advice is you can eat pork dishes "outside" of home 1-2 times per week. However, do not buy pork and put it in your refrigerator/freezer. Cooking pork at home is obviously not unhealthy in itself but moreso the LEFTOVERS for consecutive days that will contribute to weight gain.
