Most people here would say : Russian, Portuguese or Chinese (Mandarin) are the most useful languages to learn nowadays, with our mind set on gaming women, and enjoying life while traveling abroad, for short or long periods (relocation)..
But, I'm starting to consider.. Serbo-Croat!
Because with this language, you'd get access to many separate, quite safe, promising, and downright beautiful countries :

For those of us in particular who are afraid of the downfall of Western Europe (see migrants invasion thread), well, no need to flee to SEA : let's go to Balkans States (where migrants just temporarily pass through, by the way, they won't stay).. It's safe, close to Western Europe, culturally quite close, with (very) beautiful and diverse women and, at least when I went there few years ago, it was cheap..
So, a language that gives us access to not one, but 5 countries, 4 of which are perfectly safe democracies (Bosnia being a bit different I guess).. why not consider it..?
Now you may think : Russian language has all that and more.
Yes, but.. how would you obtain the right of residency in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakstan, Belarussia??
So, if I were from the US, I would learn Russian, clearly. But being European, I think serbo-croat might be the right choice (we can settle hassle-free in former Yugoslavia, no need for visas)
So.. specialists of former Yugoslavia, what do you think of my idea? Are your countries the (close) safe and beautiful heaven we Westerners long for? For long-term resettlement I mean..
