Instagram attention whore quits Instagram and makes the New York Times

I don't get the hate here.
Instagram has contributed more to societal decline than any other social media. It's THE internet's pussy pedestal. It makes Facebook and Twitter look like Encyclopedia Britannica by comparison.
Anything that shines it in a negative light, whether it's this or #tagthesponsor, is a win.
Sure, the chick may still be an entitled, attention whore, but she was one to begin with. It may not be a complete 180, but it's at least a few degrees to the right of where she was before.
I'm thinking more of the girls or guys who may read this story and develop a more negative (read: healthier) opinion of Instagram as a result.
Also, it highlights the fact that making women "empowered" does not equal happiness. It actually makes them miserable.

^^^^She attention whored in the very last hour of her online existence.
If she was truly noble she'd delete it and wouldn't say a word.

^ Nowhere did I say she was noble.
Are you "truly noble"? Is Tag the Sponsor "truly noble"?
What does that even mean?
My point is the same people that actually buy into these fake Instagram celebrities also have a chance to buy into this message. We may see through the façade, but a lot of people obviously do not.
