I just perused w4m ads at Craigs List. They are really uninformative. The complete ad might say:

"I'm bored and want someone to cuddle with while watching the Video Music Awards tonight," or

"Seeking a man who can banter and entertain me."

They typically state age and location, but not race. A couple people mentioned meeting dates on Craigs List. But it seems like you need to contact and filter a bunch of ads before finding something appropriate. I can only guess that bored girls find it really easy to place these ads.

Less than like 5% are actually people and only about 20% of those are marginally attractive women. Good luck.

GMAC is being VERY optimistic with his stats. I'd guess they are lower. HOT women DO NOT post ads on CL, they have 10,000 guys on Facebook they can play with like toys abd get constant attention from.

They are prostitutes or web spammers.

I've been posting ads on CL for probably over a year now. I can tell you that browsing there is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. I post as a means of having a "free passive income" but it really has never born any fruit. Managed to get with 2 bang-able chicks. Most of the time you're filtering out nasty fatties with children and major issues.

It's easy to post there and I'm lazy so I just keep doing it. For people with any level of skill or drive it's a huge waste of time.

Craigslist is only good for:

I've been toying around with Missed Connections on CL.
Throw a meatball on there and see what reponses you get like this.

Goodlooking woman in grocerystore X (the one you know has fine ladies) who kept looking.

Girl in Honda(common) on road X (busy) at time X (morning commute)

Be prepared with a good picture to send.

So you're throwing generic descriptions out there and fishing for hotties?

Wow you're a genius man. LOL

You wanna see some funny shit? Do a search for women on OKCupid and search by Income. The only hot ones you'll see have an annually income of a million dollars and up. Bullshit. Liars!! LOL

No way! I just had a bunch of really cute girls e-mail me with photos at web links. All I need to do now is sign up for their dating sites to get their phone numbers.

But I don't need to do that. I already had two women from Adult Friend Finder pour their hearts out in long e-mails. They must have fallen in love with my picture. They will visit me as soon as they collect my Western Union funds.

This was amusing, but could get really tedious.

I have heard of affiliate marketers pretending to be girls on craigslist to make passive income to then travel around the world to swoop real girls.

That is the only "online dating" thing that makes sense to me.

So I think when you are looking for girls on craigslist, you are getting the wrong end of the stick (so to speak).

I have fucked 3 chicks from posting a craiglist casual encounter m4w.

I find that a decent amount of women will "browse" it and if you look good will bite and shoot off an email to you.

They generally range from 4-6. One was a latina with massive perky mellons!

I've snagged a few off CL, but it was years ago. Now with OKCupid (et al), there's no point for decent-looking women to cruise CL.

Not possible, pretty soon he'd piss off enough people to complain to the affiliate program - and they gladly terminate his account and not pay him anything.

I can't break it down step by step for you, but my friend told me he knows people who have done it (and it is relatively commonplace.)

I think it is for dating site sign ups.

Doesn't sound like something that is "not possible".

This happens a lot. Some are more subtle than others. Sometimes it's a post saying something like "Check out my profile at ..." - but that gets flagged as spam pretty quickly.

Another way is to post an ad and then have an autoresponse to the email directing the guy making contact to a paid dating or chat site. A lot of them are camwhore sites. Some of them don't have very strict standards when it comes to their affiliate programmes. It's such a competitive business that a good affiliate can get a big chunk of the new customer's lifetime spend on the site so it doesn't surprise me that people make a living from it.

I know someone who did affiliate marketing for porn sites where he was getting something like 30-40% of the customer's spend in perpetuity! A couple of years after he'd stopped doing it he was still getting checks from the porn sites because customers that he'd directed there years before had kept up their subscriptions.

Hard to imagine many guys fall for it, but since they keep posting the spam it must work.

I believe this. I had a girl who I was talking to on POF go this way, the person on the other end was fucking dedicated. Had a full profile of pics, all in different venues at different times, but all of the same girl. Kept in character for over three days. Was casual easy convo then one day "hey can you do me a favor"

It looks like a bunch of freaks in the personals sections. I emailed a girl who is looking for a "420 friend" yesterday but we'll see what happens. What about the Strictly Platonic section? I just can't imagine there's any decent girls on Craigslist when they can make it 100 times easier by using a dating site.

If you have low standards and some trait (height, looks, or big dick) you can bang a few off of Craigslist. But you will have to bang some chubbies if you want success.

one of my friends claims he has success with this. I am skeptical because every girl I see him with is nasty.

My brother used to slay women off Craigslist, but he's a dirty bastard and has zero shame in admitting he bangs major fatties.
