All the pretty horses is red pill. Based on the book by cormac mccarthy. It deals with the patent unfairness of life.

Any Kubrick movie.
When thinking about sex/sexual dynamics, etc, especially watch
A Clockwork Orange - one of my all time favorite movies. Alex de Large and his way of intellectualized ultra-violence. Man that swagger is unreal.
Barry Lyndon - There is so much more to this than just game but without getting into intricate film theory - how a man sees the truth about women and rises [then falls]
Eyes Wide Shut - The truth about marriage and regular life. How society will shoot you down for trying to overreach your station [especially sexually]
Lolita - Shows exactly what men [even old ones] and women [even young ones] want. In cruel honesty.
You don't get there till you get there

I just saw "Fury" the war movie with Brad Pitt. It's a gory war movie, but there is a scene which depicts the "War Brides" phenomenon of women switching loyalty and laying down for the conquerer.

Any other war history movie fans here?
Can anyone recommend any decent lesser known war movies?
Should be some sort of "based on a true story".

Yeah. About both WW2 and the girls.
And this one is "based on true story".

Has anyone watched the film "Metropolitan" from 1990? It is a low budget production on a bunch of upperclass youngsters in NYC. Not the most amazing thing ever, but very clever, amusing and sharp dialogue.

I was going to suggest Fury for the same scene as Sp5 but he already did.
Drive was almost a red pill movie. Had it depicted the girl next door as manipulating Ryan Gosling of course, but it didn't. Still a good movie though.
Is it possible for a female centric red pill movie? Because that would be interesting. I suppose Rum Diaries is one, showing unchained sexuality and hypergamy.

Some posters here have stated that Blue Jasmine is supposed to be pretty Red Pill and it is female centric. I haven´t seen it myself, so I can´t judge.
Forgot about that. Yea, she's entitled and narcissistic and becomes a crazy lady.
While it is good that films call out bad behavior, I can't seem to find any that elevate good behavior while still being realistic.
A serialized show about a female character who struggles between the better and worse angels of her nature could be interesting as a character driven show.
I probably would not watch it but it would only need niche appeal.

Anyone see "Thank you for Smoking" Aaron Eckhart is amazing when it comes to the character he plays in this move. ..as he says 'sultan of spin'.
"you know that guy who can pick up any girl".. "I am him, on crack"
The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.

I just watched Eyes Wide Shut. I wasn't sure what to make of the movie at first. I was fairly young when the movie came out and all I knew about it was that there was some sort of infamous sex party scene.
The film had a dreamlike quality, with blurred lighting and a sense that something is not quite right. The scene with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman getting high and then having a blowout fight was interesting to watch as it unraveled.
Following the fight there was a feeling that sex was always right around the corner, right beyond the periphery of Cruise's awareness, with the wife of Cruise's patient, with the prostitute (she asks "would you like to come inside with me?" though I actually heard "would you like to come inside of me?", the strange situation with the costume dude and his daughter, very strange. I was captivated and wondered where it was all going.
The sex party scene was bizarre, to put it mildly. It actually called to mind the 'Secret Society' post by Tyler Durden. Once they found out he wasn't one of them, he had to leave. I've done some reading online and there seems to be many theories concerning this scene, even connecting it to Stanley Kubrick's death several days after filming.
Props to Tom Cruise for accepting roles in weird movies. Eyes Wide Shut, Vanilla Sky, Magnolia. Dude takes on some difficult films, which I appreciate.

"Lone Survivor" - The story of Mike Murphy and his three fellow SEALS. There's nothing more alpha than a gang of four of the worlds greatest warriors cornered and fighting alone against a superior enemy force.

The Flowers of War with Christian Bale - epically good. Based on the japanses invasion of China during wwII. Bale plays an American civilian caught in the turmoil.

Contemporary:
Unforgiven (1992) I think this is the last western Eastwood did? A man handling his business and the illusion of social redemption. Hackman is great in this too.
Trainspotting (1996) A bunch of fuckups in this but at its heart the message is very red pill. Choose life.
Some classic red pill movies:
The Great Escape (1963) Just look at that fucking allstar cast. Men working together to achieve something during dire moments.
French Connection (1971) Gene Hackman is always great.
foreign filmfag recommendation:
Le Samourai (1967) Alain Delon is unknown in America and he's got that understated soft spoken masculinity that few men can pull off these days.

Welcome to N.H.K is the most red pill anime I ever saw. It's so good I even shed a couple of manly tears. I watched the whole show on youtube. If you watch this show and still be a lazy piece of shit, you can never be fixed. Here's a link to the first episode.

That may be true, but anime makes me want to vomit and murder indiscriminately at the same time.

I'm going off the board to say Cruel Intentions is pretty red pill...
Sure it's essentially a note for note retread of Dangerous Liaisons for the MTV generation, it's also one of those 'tweener' quality flicks; not so good that I'd go out and buy it (If I could find it for $6 at HMV, maybe...), but good enough that if I catch it on cable and have the time, I'll sit down and watch it.
A Player who fucks mad bitches makes a deal with his stepsister that if he can seduce a virgin, he gets to bang said stepsister. Stepsister also has a rivalry with another girl who the player subsequently bangs. Player seduces the virgin, falls in love with her, the step sister renegs on her deal, the player ends up dying in the end, while the stepsister is then exposed as the monster she is.
Moral of the story? Don't deal with crazy girls, women are manipulative and evil, white knighting can get you killed etc,. etc,.

The Eiger Sanction with Clint Eastwood.
There are many great red pill moments. One example:
Woman Journalist: Tell me, Mr. Bowman, in your opinion do these men climb to prove their manhood, or is it more a matter of compensating for inferiority feelings?
Ben Bowman: Lady, why don't you go get yourself screwed. It would do you a lot of good.
