Strong IOI?

There's this woman, who is about a 7, who works at my local vet clinic where I take my dogs. I've noticed that even though I only go like 5 times a year, maybe even less, I don't even need to mention my name or my dogs' names, and she knows who I am just by seeing me. Is this a strong IOI? It happened again today after months of not going there, I deliberately didn't give out any information about myself or my dogs, I just said my dogs need flea medication, and she knew my name, address, and dogs names.

Should I call the clinic on my phone soon? I'm not sure how to go about it. I don't even know her name to be honest, as I never bothered to learn it. Haha.

I've seen that quite a few times on the forum but since I'm new haven't found an explanation...what does IOI mean?

This might just be company policy. They probably keep a profile on all the dogs they treat, so I'm not sure I'd read too much into this one. How big is the clinic?

I could be wrong though, are there any other IOIs you've picked up on?

I didn't take my dogs with me, or the last few times I've been there for medication for them. The clinic gets plenty of business from what I've seen. It's not big, but it doesn't lack customers. As for other IOIs, it's not like I've taken much notice of her, so I'm not sure. I asked her about how she knew who I was last time, and she said she remembers me. Maybe she just has a freakishly good memory, I don't know.

Maybe the idea is for me not to care, and just ask anyway? I've asked and been rejected before, and it didn't exactly kill me, it just made me feel like shit for 30 minutes, but the more I do it, the less that would happen? What d'ya all think guys?

I suppose. I just thought it to be different because I can't remember any woman's name unless I'm interested.

You're over-thinking this. You can't wait until you're 100 percent sure that a girl is giving you "signs" before making a goddamn move. It could be an IOI and that's all you need. Girls don't think things through like we do, she probably doesn't even realize you're so memorable to her.

Stop in there with some random excuse, chat her up for a couple of minutes, and invite her to drinks. Log into RVF from her computer as soon as you nut and tell us all about it. [Image: banana.gif]

I already have a valid excuse, my dog's teeth need cleaning. So I should just go in, talk crap about something, ask her out for drinks, then leave? What do you guys talk about with chicks when talking to them?

you could ask her what its like working there then ask her what she does when she isnt working. Follow the threads for a few minutes then tell her you need to run but would be interested in hanging out with her sometime after work to hear more about whatever she was talking about.

it's not how long you talk to her its what you put into it!

I think we can definitively say she isn't repulsed by you, which is a good start.

Give it a shot. What's the worst that can happen? She won't give your dog the wrong injection if you ask her out.

Edited to add: As a wise man said: "A morning of awkwardness is better than a night of loneliness"

Attracting women has never been a problem for me, it's knowing what to do after that. I tend to put doubt in to my own head, but I've been trying to stop that lately.

Good idea. Listen to Tuth's advice. Start that conversation and go with your instinct. If you feel like she's even remotely interested tell her she should grab a drink with you.

its hawd being under 21 years old. I imagine the amount of poon ill be able to get will multiply by atleast 10 in 4 months. Grabbing drinks seems much better than grabbing ice cream/sushi
