Anyone ever been to a rave? There's one next weekend that's going to have around 2,000 people. Who's been to one of these? What can I expect if I go?

Depends on drug usage really, which is normally very high. Half the time you are having such a good time you dont care about banging broads, although to be honest thats because Im normally off my tits. A lot of people are. The best time to be making moves is as things move towards the end of everything. Everyone is coming down a bit and the chicks are going to be horny

Raves are easy to pull in though. The women are so loved up they are down for anything really.

I dont know if the raves where you at is different to what i used to go. When i was younger i used to go to these under 21s and under 18s raves where they mostly played bashment songs, girls would be whining on guys all night, any london cat on here that has been on those raves know what i am talking about, BEST RAVES IN THE WORLD, PERIOD.

Houston what type of music will they be playing there? Do the girls there usually whine on guys in these raves? Are the people mostly black in those raves?

Bruv, raves are totally different in North America. When you say you go raving in London, it's a totally different thing than if you say so in America.
Raving in North America is like going to a techno thing, where people are waving those glow sticks and they are high off E, speed, coke etc.

I've been to raves in the LA area. I imagine the ones in Texas are similar. There was an electric daisy rave in Texas recently if I am not mistaken. The girls that go are mostly younger white chicks. They get dressed up and wear some pretty revealing outfits. The only problem is they tend to go in big groups, so isolating them can be very tricky.

Are you going to have a wingman with you? A wingman would be very helpful in isolating.

Also, are you able to get extacy? If you can, it is fairly easy to get it past security.

P.S. Search online for rave pics if you want to get an idea of the type of chicks that go to raves. There are a lot of forums w/ pics of raves on the interwebs.

So, what do I Do...I sleep all night, get plenty of rest, and wake-up at 4:30am. I hit the rave, and sarge like a moda fucka. Girls are not ready for me as I am full of energy, and my game is tighter than a Virgins anus one a full stomach, fully hydrated and 8hrs of sleep.

I have swooped several girls like this...especially the "let's go grab some breakfast at my pad right down the street" line. THEY ARE ALL STARVING BY MORNING!

Haha! I've felt for long that raves are too much of a crap shoot that depends heavily on being able to isolate your chosen talent. Along comes Mixx and puts my entire view on the scene on its head. Capital idea I say! This begs to be tried in the Med...

I won't talk about small raves, as that scene died down out here, but the Massives are mostly horrible for meeting chicks. If you go and you are UNRELENTING, you can probably get lucky, but there are not meat markets the way raves used to be, unless you prefer sausage. You will see some of the CREEPIEST dudes on earth at raves these days, and most of the 'women' are going to be underage or with their man for protection.

The ones in miami tend to be bad ,too, Miami's EDM scene has changed dramatically in the last 6 years. It used to be Disney Land out there, but it's nearly as good these days. Check out talknightlife.com for a very specific Miami forum.

True, there are a ton of sausages, which is why I target women still raving between 4am, and 7am - that is the fucking sweet-spot of pulling them away. They are hungry, tired, and a warm breakfast with a freshly smelling guy who does not smell like sweat from dancing all night and looks creepy on X overdose.

If you sarge raves between 2100hrs and 0400hrs, you are setting yourself up for frustration. That's the "leave me alone, I'm raving with my friends/boyfriend window".


Wait for the "take me home and feed/fuck me window" that shortly follows. A lot of guys have given-up by that time, and call it a night or take second best. That's when I come in, and like a tactical sniper, lock-in and swoop my traget with enormous accuracy.

I wouldn't ever wear nice clothes to a rave. You'll just be sweaty and have that rave funk smell all over you anyway. Plus the type of girls who go to raves aren't into that look from my experience. Wear something casual and comfortable that's at least moderately stylish.

On another note, raves pretty much got shut down in my neck of the woods a decade ago. Anyone know of any raves in the Chicago area? I'd love to hit one up for old times' sake if there even are any.

Yeah, I remember last summer you wrote about this, and I thought I'd try it and went to a rave at 5am and guess what... they wanted me to pay $50 for a ticket because Armijn Van Buren was DJing. By 4am, most of the chicks are already napping or are coming down from their high.

Early in the morning, it's mostly guys that are up, looking for that desperate chick. My experience has been the exact opposite of your post. The girls go in early, the guys stay up, always looking. When do girls ever stay up later than guys? Almost never.

Most raves, even multi-day ones, shut down for a few hours, and then you re-enter the next day. That's the case with EDC, etc. You can't stay on the grounds 24 hours a day.

Miami is a little bit different, as they have some very small areas where you can go 24hrs a day, but, I've never seen those twilight periods be very lucrative. Mostly dudes. Space is a club and not a rave, but the crowd there at 5-7am is not exactly the kind of crowd guys are hoping for. It's a microcosm for what you see at raves/festivals, though.

WMC and ultra last few years, for recent examples. I hope nobody is going to say they were target-rich during those hours, because they most certainly were not. Those events were sausage fests, population-wise even during peak hours. Even worse at the witching hours. To work those right, you had to pay-to-play and go to the more exclusive areas.

Just my experience.

Several years ago, I would have recommended guys do exactly what I used to do, same as you. Sleep all day, arrive well after midnight. These days, I wouldn't recommend that. Things just haven't been as good, at those times, recently.

My outfit for a rave in good weather is: jean/cargo shorts, whatever shirt, plus my camelpak backpack, if I'm allowed to bring it. Random accessories. My rave name is "Titan", hehe.

Agree. Wear comfortable flashy clothes, stand out!

I always go with a neon buckle, crazy hat, beads,etc...BE THE PARTY!

Raves can be real tricky to pull all the way....make outs are a piece of cake, but logistics can fuck you up, they sured fuck me before.

I remember back in San Francisco 2010 for "Sea of Dreams". Started dancing by myself, crazy chic started dancing next to me, she took her top off, bra off, pants off, she was only in a thong dancing next to me. I went caveman, make out, finger...then....she randomly left. Saw her doing the same with another dude later.....anyway...tons of crazy chics out there...have fun and be safe!

Yeah I know this is an old thread, but I've never pulled from a rave other than heavy make outs. It's one of those scenarios I think gets heavily blown out, like it's automatically assumed that getting girls all high on E or Special K ensures a lay.

Most girls go with groups of friends and they're all watching each other. Also, while girls on E love back rubs and make outs, they get weird about sex.

I haven't been to a rave in years, but I went heavily in the late 90s early 2000s. It was more fun than anything, but due to logistics your best bet is to make contacts and collect tons of numbers to meet up at a later point. I'm sure somewhere on earth there have been epic raves that turned into hedonistic orgies and shit, but none of the ones I went to.

Real Raves ended in the mid to late 90's.

Now, like everything else, it is just a bunch of corporate bullsh*t.

No,they didn't.Allow me to disagree,because we obviously haven't been to the same places.I've met some of the craziest chicks in my life at raves.Regarding pulling them home,trust me on this one-you definitely don't have to go all the way to your place to bang them.
If you guys need any tips on the different scenes,I'd be glad to provide.But it seems more like dudes telling how it's not like back in the day,rather than people looking to party hard.
