I find that they approach me more than me having to do any work with them. I have a couple shirtless pics up and ones my profile pic and as my caption with it I wrote I know the shirtless shots a classic douchebag move but my mailbox is full... you can't argue with the results. That caption has gotten me over 3/4s of the responses from those types. Some will say I can see why it works, some will start defending why they use a bikini pic or whatever and correlate it to my shots and on and on. In general I've found them to be the easiest group, well the fatties are the easiest they just mass email every guy hoping I think. The ones that are tough are the ones that take themselves way too seriously, the ones that profile reads like a resume, Im going to this college and im going to do this and I need someone who has this, I haven't tried too hard with them but they see the profile pic and that I dont take my profile too seriously and they'll write me off. It seems that the more attractive the girl the more necessary it is to have a GOOD shirtless shot that shows off that you're above average. My shirtless pic is about a month old now, and I know I've gotten more muscle since, might be in my interest to take a new one.

What does "does not respond" mean? Did she check your profile, or she just ignored her message? If she ignored your message, the problem may be with the message. If she checked your profile, then it is less clear. Maybe your profile is a problem. Or your pictures. Or - much more likely - there are no problems at all, she just wasn't in the mood. That's the difference between online and real world. It is easier to approach, but it is also easier to ignore. This is pretty much it. These "higher quality" girls are much more shallow and picky than the rest. They want to know you have a great body, not just in-shape.

I used to monitor the "sent message" status on POF like a hawk a few months ago, but since being enlightened I've yet to check. I honestly dont give a shit if they respond.

I guess what Im curious about is why what works on most other girls seems to not phase these girls. My profile, pics, and messages work a good deal of the time, yet when I go for the upper echelon it just falls through.

The girls I"m talking about are the kind that are almost "too good looking" and really stand out of the lineup of faces on the dating sites.

1. No, but it can help. Answering more questions improves your matches with more girls (a good thing) and gives you the opportunity to read their answers, check compatibility (i.e. more sex driven chicks).
2. It doesn't usually matter, but I like to answer emails on Sundays (prime time for women online) or early in the week to solidify those dates as fast as possible. 9 times out of 10 you won't set up a first date on a Friday or Saturday, so you need to think logistics. I email similarly the way I text, with rules. If she emailed me, I wait at least 30 minutes to respond. If she sent it on a Friday (or Saturday), I wait until Saturday (or Sunday) morning. It honestly doesn't matter that much, but because some of these girls only log on a few times a week to check their mail it's best to catch them while they're still online so you can either a) open IM/chat dialogue or b) get enough dialogue going so you can lock in the date.

Again, this depends on the context of her response. It's your job to keep her interested enough to ask you questions or write back. Sometimes that means getting creative, sometimes it means using a second scripted response. Often I'll mix old material that has worked with something from her profile. I usually wait till the fifth volley (your third message considering you sent the 1s, 3rd, 5th) or seventh, from my experience if you try before the 5th she'll give you the "to fast" bull shit if you wait till after the 7th you'll get pushed into the back of her inbox by the next guy

I try to bait this by fishing the info out of her if she's more into texting or phone chatting. I agree with Roosh's point of view on text vs phone, texting takes longer, usually, but it gives you less of an opportunity to do or say something that'll turn her off.

Sorry, this isnt really related to the discussion at hand - I just uploaded a profile on a Danish dating site where the quality is so-so. Roughly 500,000 users, probably only a fraction of those are active.

In my age group, EVEN less since most people in Denmark at this age probably don't have time for this crap. I'm there laying the ground work for my imminent return home - wanna set up some dates.

Like I've mentioned in my previous posts, go for the date after the first or second response. Do you want a pen pal? No. TELL her to meet you for drinks at X spot at Y time.
