Another place where one could run high-end (by Tampa standards) game is Jackson's on Harbor Island. It's on the waterfront in downtown Tampa. Also nearby are a few other downtown hotels such as the Tampa Marriott Waterside where one could probably do quite well suited down.

I doubt the highest quality girls will be in the expensive hotel bars. Probably plenty of creepy cougars though.

Bern's Steakhouse, probably the most well-known of Tampa higher-end joints.

Over in St. Pete, the Vinoy and the Don Caesar are unique high-end hotels with bars and restaurants appropriate for the higher-end player.

While the Tampa Bay area does have a few joints that qualify as higher-end, Tampa really isn't a high-end suit, dress & heels kind of place.

If you are in your 30's or beyond, this is for you:

-Blue Martini is the most upscale bar/club in tampa for professional adults 30-60. Lots of older guys suited up pulling younger ass. It is laughably easy to pull a married milf out of there if you are under 30 and not a slob. Tons of gold diggers and horny women looking for right-now-sex. (TOP TIP) There is a nearby industrial park that is DARK that you can take your 'date' to. Get some drinks ask if she wants to go somewhere, and when it's on, take her down westshore, take the second right and back into the industrial park. Park your car and get down to biz.

-Honorable mention: Brio happy hour (two doors down from blue martini). It is a cozy atmosphere and lots of milf types there and girls just out of work. Plenty of industrial parks nearby and office buildings. Lots of girls meet up there after work and also go there solo sometimes to get a quick bite to eat and a few drinks.

-The Pub- same mall plaza as the above mentioned, but the set up is all wacked out. There's really no where to sit or stand unless you get a spot at the bar. This isn't really a pickup spot and more a spot to meet friends.

-Ocean Prime- suit up and have a good cover story why you are in town. Excellent lounge and good live music for the older, more well to do 30+ set. The food and service here are excellent, fyi.

-Eddie v's- in the same area on Boyscout Rd across from the mall plaza where the above are mentioned. The bar area looks good, although I haven't hung out there much. The food and service at Eddie V's are reasonable good. Upscale suitgame atmosphere, similar to Ocean Prime. I'd give Ocean Prime the edge, however for picking up.

South Tampa- If you are under 30, in shape, handsome, and have some game check out MacDinton's on Friday happy hour. Lots of hot trim. South Tampa is a good place to game, but again, don't expect girls to fall in your lap. Get ready to approach alot and have a good wing or airtight game.

There are a LOT of desperate betas in tampa that will cockblock you in two seconds if they even see you have a chance at the P. For this reason you need to learn how to position yourself so the other guy can't get eye contact or an angle to ruin your set.

Tampa Bay is massively spread out, and goes from Upscale Blue Martini (International Plaza) to shitty little dive bars where half the people are wearing flip flops and cargo shorts. The women for the most part are rude pigs, overweight, and their value too high. They drink too much and are highly obnoxious.

Powerhouse Gym, downtown Tampa- if you are a fitness buff, this place must be seen to be believed. All the hottest trim in town is here. It is not rare to see current WWE television guys in this gym either. It is somewhat of a meat market, but if you fit in with that segment or you are good at approaching to "ask for advice" getting a day or week pass may be WELL worth your time.

Jacksons- I do not hang out at this spot, but many guys report that there is a hotel next door that ALL the rich traveling cougars on work assignments stay at and that they use Jackson's as their spot to pick up younger studs. They do have a lot of events and contests here, for example a $5,000 sexiest Halloween costume contest for Halloween night, and a big NYE celebration etc.

Casino- I avoid this place. Too many thugs and white trash. Just not my speed and I hear the clubs now suck ass. The security LOOKS for fights with guys that they are hating on, so beware of that fellas.

Honorable mention nights: Zo Lounge in Clearwater for their latin night thurs, Whiskey North for their Latin night (I believe on Friday). I haven't been to either but have been hearing both are pretty good. WHiskey north has had a few shootings in the past year, so watch out for drama and issues.

TOP TIP: check out the Tuesday night latin night at Blue Martini. It is tits and there are some fly Latinas there. I highly recommend.

I know a guy who is in his early 30's who exclusively goes to meetup.com events like kickball and softball and has more girls than he can shake a stick at! Again, I haven't tried this due to my crazy schedule (and the fact I am not really in to American women) but I hear it can yield pretty big returns.

Due to how spread out Tampa is you'll have to put in work to find the hot chicks. That's a given.

Let's put it this way- I was in Chicago and saw a fuck ton of hot girls in one afternoon that blow tampa out of the water all month.

I was just in Medellin for Halloween and I saw more hot girls per capita, ever, than I have in my entire life. So I don't put too much stock in the USA when people talk about "hot girls". I think in terms of "girls that will occupy my time until my next trip" versus calling them "hot".

Tampa is indeed a party town, but you'll need to beat the bushes to catch them hoes.

Are there plenty of opportunities here? Yes, if you are one of the guys that enjoys approaching 50+ girls a day is fun then you'll do very well here. If you are fed up with bad attitudes, inflated market prices, cock blockers, beta males, and idiotic sluts then Tampa will be highly highly disappointing to you.

Phantasmo, great intel on Tampa, +1 from me. What are your thoughts on Ybor City? I partied there for a couple of nights and thought it was fun, a bit rough but a decent place for binge drinking, definitely not high end. I also checked out Channel Side which seemed to be a decent spot to eat and have a few drinks, not sure how it is later though. While in Tampa a few years back, I stayed at this weird hostel called Graham's Place, I wouldn't recommend staying there as its in a rough area but its close enough to Ybor. Also, NHL hockey games are relatively cheap in Tampa and the arena is down town, so drinking at a game and gaming women there (lots of Canadians on vacation) can be decent before hitting the town.

Also, the Tampa Bay area is home to a thriving death metal scene, for anyone who's into that, according to this article, "Florida may be known as the Sunshine State, but it is also home to a particularly dark musical subculture. For nearly 30 years, the city of Tampa has served as the unofficial capital of American death metal."

This is one of the more inaccurate statements in the history of the forum. I've have walked into two Blue Martini locations in my life, Brickell and Las Vegas. I've never been to the Kendall location. Both of the Blue Martinis I went to were pretty low end and I imagine the Brickell is one of the most high end of all Blue Martini locations.
