LOL, this is interesting, through my travels I have determined that non blacks generally can not tell Africans from non Africans. The looks can be very different.

I know some ghanians who are light in complexion and some who are dark.
I know some Jamaicans, Trinis, Haitians that CONSTANTLY get hit up by other Africans who would swear on their graves that the peeps in mention are Africans.

The accent can be a giveaway but some slick Africans (or those not born in Africa) can do a good impression of non African.

To give an example, a few years back, I was going to a house party in Harlseden.
The venue was pretty much 90 percent Jamaican and I am talking FOB Jamaican.

On the bus there, I saw this African bredda (I think he might have been Nigerian) and he was spitting his dialect to his buddy.

Got to the party, saw the same bredda there and he had switched his lingo entirely and was spitting pure patois and was even 'deh pon the mic' spitting pure island dialogue over some rough baseline instrumental.

Goes to show, I guess.

This...Most of the Africans especially outside of London & Paris where they are more established are FOB and exhibit extremely thirsty behavior when it comes to getting at chicks. Chicks can easily tell an African from a African-American and Rudebwoy summed it up well.

Exactly, the chics in Iceland told me they could easily tell the difference. One thing they always said is that we look more polished.

Because the African blood is a dominant trait. You only need a bit of it to show up regardless of the other DNA makeup. Other DNA traits are more subtle and not so easy to discern.

I don't want to get too carried away on this in a girls/travel forum, but "African blood" whatever that is has a variety of traits. Only a very tiny slice of our DNA accounts for what we look like, that's why scientists say that race isn't a scientifically valid concept, but a sociological one because all races share like 99.9% of our genes. Also, you can have situations where someone can have a white parent and black parent, but look closer to the white side. Look at a dude like Derek Jeter. His dad is black(and not even light skinned) his mom is white, and Derek could easily pass for an Italian dude, esp being from NYC. I think there's a lot of people walking around who we think are white that are actually mulattos.

To go one step further, english black guys tend to look a little different than american black guys. I think it is a combination of diet, environment and a few other factors. An american black guy on average will look more put together and polished, please people do not give me one-offs examples like Craig David or Derek Jeter etc. My observation is on the whole, I think perhaps for a black person it is easier to differentiate.

Definitely agree with the more polished. Having lived in America for a short bit (and I still go there often to shop, bun a Canadian tax and lack of selection!), I notice that one can get a wide selection of stylish items at ridiculously low prices.

In terms of food, the portions of food in America are so much larger and so much cheaper and much more variety (you can buy orange juice or apple juice for nothing at copious quantities).

For an athletic person working out and gulping down all that nutrition, the frames are going to look a lot more polished than the often mawga look that befriends the Brits.

I found this forum by looking for information on Copenhagen and Stockholm.., trying to decide which is better.

I've been lurking for two weeks reading and enjoying the inputs from everyone on all topics. I figured I'll share with you some of my experiences traveling the world.

FYI, most of my travels happened when I was was in the Air Force and traveling as a defense contractor. People think I am latino, having a Puerto Rican/Dominican mulatto look for those who may be curious. I consider myself black. My format will be like AIE, who did a great job.

Europe
Germany: From my experience hands down the best for black americans. The old West Germany is heaven. If you choose to hang around the Army posts or the Air Force bases, you will have lots of women who speak English and women who are military groupies and a subset of those are black american groupies. Most are in the 6-7 range and are not hard to hook up with at all. The 7-8 range will require more work, but they are still interested in black american men but have been around long enough to know that many of these military men are players and you will have to prove yourself. Just go to any bar/nightclub and you will make contacts. You may not get laid that night but you will in the next day or two.

I preferred to get away from the bases because I didn't want someone whose had multiple boyfriends and has a trail that I would be following, if you know what I mean.

Bavaria is very conservative and you would have to do invest some time to get the quality babes there.

Stuttgart is nice and the entire state of Baden-Württemberg is worth a visit. It is where the Black Forest is located and picking up 7-8's is much easier than around the bases because most of the black military guys don't venture out this far. It's not as urban, outside of Stuttgart, so the women are more simple and honest but not any less hot.

The state of Hessen and Frankfurt I thought was very nice. Frankfurt is the least German of all the cities in Germany. This is due to it being the financial center of the EU so you will have people from all over Europe, and the Middle East, and Africa in the Frankfurt region. The joke is that it is hard to find a real German in Frankfurt. There was a major airbase that was co-located with Frankfurt's airport so they are very familiar with Americans via the military and it's legacy. That being said, I've always had an easier time getting with non-Germans in Frankfurt. I've had Romanians, Ethiopians, Polish with a few Germans. Most were 7-8's but very friendly and easy to get with. The pub scene is thriving in Frankfurt and there is a plethora of places for a black american to sit and strike up a conversation. I have found that you need to make the first move in all areas outside of the base areas. The women will let you know that they are interested via body language. It's just up to you to go and make it happen.

The North Rhine-Westphalia region is where it's at. This includes the cities of Bonn, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and pushing toward the Dutch border. My most serious German g/f was from this region. I would rate her a 7.5 but she was extremely cool and had her shit together. A well put together brother could easily pull 8-9's in this area. There are hardly any military guys hanging in this area so the local talent isn't jaded toward black americans. I found that most German women prefer black americans over africans. I went to a nightclub in Dusseldorf with my girl and the bouncers were denying entry to blacks, turns out they were Africans. We got to the front of the line and they heard my accent and knew I was an American and let me in. I know it's jacked up but unfortunately, the Africans have developed a bad reputation and as long as a black american isn't an ass, you will be treated well.

I've not been to Berlin or Hamburg but I've heard good things, more so about Hamburg due to it being in the former West Germany and having more of an open attitude. I like Hip-Hop but I don't frequent those places. I'm more into Jazz, R&B, House, Lounge Music, Brazilian music, and the Salsa and Merengue tip. Germany has venues for all of these places. If your Salsa and Merengue is tight, you will pull 8-9's consistently. My Salsa sucks so I wasn't in that category.

Bottom line, you present yourself well, behave well, take the initiative, you will be handsomely rewarded as a black american in Germany. You can expect to pull the 7-8s fairly easily but pulling anyone from the next group up will require a bit more effort.

UK
I've been to London and have had a blast but have never pulled in London. There are tons of hotties from all corners of the world but being a large city, you need to have game plus and more. I found things infinitely easier outside London. Specifically, I've had success in East Anglia, Leeds, and Glasgow. On average, women in the UK aren't the best but they have their fair share of stunners. I topped out at an 8 in the UK. A pale red head whose hair flowed amazingly and had the nicest face and a body that a sister would respect. Black Americans are well received everywhere I've been in the UK. There is not the racial hang-ups that exist in the USA. The UK is very comfortable and familiar due to the language and the similarities in our cultures. The weather absolutely sucks, but hey, there are plenty of cute but not exceedingly hot women to be had for black americans everywhere in the UK no matter what your style is.

Italy
I've only been to Pisa up north and Catania in Sicily down south. I found it rather difficult. Friendly people but you'd better live there to have a shot. That is the impression I've got. Things seemed easier for a black american down south. Remember that Hannibal and his elephants were all over southern Italy. I've even heard nothern Italians call southern Italians Africans.

Anyway, in Catania, you should go out and frequent the cafes after 6pm. The women are very attractive and very friendly. You will get smiled at and spoken to. Not so much English down south but the friendliness of the locals overcomes that. Black americans are well received in Sicily. I have had women and men allow me in their bars and restaurants before the official opening times. I guess I looked lost but they were super friendly and took me in, let me order, and were very attentive. Despite this, a rapid hook-up is very unlikely. Italian men are super aggressive and these women have seen and heard it all. The women are very traditional in Sicily and you will have to invest some time, especially as a foreigner. No problem if you live here, if you don't..., enjoy it for what it is, make some friends and if you really like the woman. I've had bartenders and managers drive me back to my hotel in the wee hours of the morning. I would recommend visiting Italy, especially the south because of the warmth and the outstanding treatment I received. Just don't expect to rack up numbers.

Czech Republic
I've only been to Prague. An amazing city and full of tourist. I didn't get any vibe from any of the females I met in Prague. There was no hostility towards me as a black american, I just didn't get the feeling that Prague would be a place I could easily plant a flag. I'd love to hear of other black americans experiences in Prague away from the Hip-Hop scene.

Romania
This is a well kept secret. I've been to Romania 5 times for work and pleasure. Bucharest is a big ugly city, due to it falling on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain in that era. It has it's nice sections but let me tell you......, Romanian women are hot and available for black americans. I didn't know what to do with myself. I traveled to Bucharest, Iasi, and Brasov and the Romanian women surprised me by how receptive they were. I had three bring me back to their apartments. These women were 8's in my book. Another one was from a small town 5 hours outside of Bucharest. She invited me to her hometown, she called her parents who have an apartment and a house, and her parents offered the house for us for a week. I was floored, her parents didn't know me from a hole in the wall. Excellent treatment. Two of the three even offered to find another woman for a threesome.

Romanians are a Latin people and they should be treated as such. You will need to be the Alpha male. I was surprised at how much Salsa they listened to. Seems that they liked the Colombian variety better, the style of Grupo Niche and Joe Arroyo for all you Salseros out there. Jazz, R&B, and Electronica is also very popular from what I've seen. Not very many blacks in Romania. I think I saw two Africans out and about and one other black american in the hotel with his Romanian hottie. The only downside to Romania is that you will have to watch your wallet when the gypsies are around and certain areas are full of prostitutes. Again, a well groomed black american will have no problem pulling the 7-8's. There are tons of legitimate 9s in Romania but they seem to stick to their own. The Romanian men with cash. I would recommend a visit to Romania for black americans and latino men with style. You will have lots of success.

Portugal
Spent some time in Lisbon and I was surprised at how diverse it was. Portugal had a large empire that was primarily centered on Africa and Brasil; therefore, apart from the Portuguese women, there are plenty of Brasilians, Cape Verdeans, Angolan, and women from Mozambique. Also Portugal is a vacation spot for Northern Europeans so you'll run into plenty of British, Germans, and Scandinavians.
The people are super friendly but speaking Portuguese would help to be King of the Hill. Plenty of English is spoken in Lisbon and the tourist spots but to truly find your niche, a working knowledge of Portuguese helps. I was actually surprised at how attractive many of the real Portuguese women are. They seemed to value a man with class no matter the color of his skin. Unfortunately for me, I was only there for a month. I am sure a black american with class would clean up here. There are a plethora of classy bars and lounges to chat up the locals who are more than willing to engage in conversation.

Spain
I have only been to the Andalucia region of Spain and the women seemed to be a bit more "tanned" than your average woman from Madrid or Barcelona. The people are not as friendly as their Portuguese neighbors and I got the feeling that a black american will have to put in much more work in Spain than in other European countries. A black american could easily get with the tourist from Northern Europe but the local Spanish women seem to be a tough nut to crack. Does anyone have any more experience with the local Spanish women to confirm or deny my perception?

Greece
I've been to Crete more times than I can remember. It's a beautiful island with people from all over living there, especially in the summer months. The Greek women and people are very friendly towards black americans and I've seen a number of them out with black men. Unfortunately, Greek women aren't the most attractive and when you do find that diamond in the rough.., chances are she will balloon up with time. Again, as with the case in Spain, the Northern European women on vacation here will keep a black man busy and happy. I've only had success with Danish, British, and Swedish women on Crete. The three Greek women who I had an eye for were very friendly but made it clear that if I didn't live there, they weren't interested. So it wasn't a black thing, it is a proximity thing. Also, it seems like the Greek men are very possessive of their women.

Holland
The Netherlands is very similar to Germany. Black American men are respected and like Germany, they distinguish between Black Africans and Black Americans. I've never hooked up with a white dutch but I have had success with mixed dutch women where one of the parents is Dutch and the other from Suriname or Africa. Amsterdam is great but try getting to some of the cities and towns out of Amsterdam.

Belgium
Brussels is ultra diverse. It's like Lisbon where there are tons of people from all parts of their former colonies. Brussels is the French part of Belgium and to the north is the flemish(Dutch) part of Belgium. The Flemish part is a bit more conservative and much more organized. A black american will do very well here. My only two hook-ups in Belgium were both with German women living there.

Ireland
Hardly a single black person I saw in Shannon, Ireland. Never been to Dublin so can't speak to that. The hottest women I saw anywhere were all Polish transplants. The majority of the Irish women I saw were on the thick side, not fat but they definitely had more meat on their bones. Overall a pleasant experience. Friendly and open people. One of my coworkers went to a nightclub, I don't really do the disco thing anymore.., too loud for my taste. Anyway, it was late and I was getting fast food when I saw my coworker (black guy in the Air Force) walk by with an Irish lass who had a hairdo like Erykah Badu. Back to the hotel they went. I was thinking I should have went to the nightclub with him.

If you can handle your alcohol, lots of drinking goes on. I don't think it would be too dificult to land your Irish flag but after seeing those Polish women, who unfortunately pretty much stuck to their own, I didn't want one of those chunky but cute Irish ladies.

Sweden, Norway, Denmark
Never been, but heading to Stockholm this July. Was going to do Copenhagen until I read Roosh's report. Thanks for saving me. Once I've gone I'll be sure to give you my impression.

Asia
Japan
I lived in Tokyo for four years and that was the best four years of my life. Japanese women love the bruthas. They are so into Black American culture that it is simply amazing. If you are a Hip-Hop head, an R&B aficionado, a snobby traditional jazz beatnik, Old-School, House, Lounge .... there is a scene full of hot Japanese women waiting for you.

Japanese are not prudes about sex. A Japanese women will let you know that she is interested, all you have to do is close the deal. I could go out every night of the week and have a new babe back in bed with me. To this day I am still surprised at how "Pro-black American" Japanese women are. So many of the Africans in Japan try to pass themselves off as Black Americans. They are easy to spot because they are Hip-Hop'ed out to the extreme.

One thing that I loved was besides the fact that the Japanese women themselves are very alluring, there is a large population of mixed Brasilian-Japanese. That just is cruel! Too much beauty with a bangin' body and booty with brains to go along with it.

The only downside to Japan is the cost of living. Japan is not an inexpensive place to visit. When I lived there, the U.S. government subsidized me. If you go, it's money well spent.

South Korea
Not brutha friendly. You can have fun in spots but if you're a black american ... go to Japan. It's money much better spent.

Philippines
The Pinays are pro everything. A black american will have a good time here and it's not hard to bang on the first night. The lighter skinned and upper class Pinays are a harder to break into. They prefer whites but if you are a black with $$$, you will be welcome into those circles but for all the wrong reasons. That being said, there are plenty on good looking middle class Pinays with ASS that are down with the bros.

Hong Kong
Very tough. Hong Kong is even tough for the white guys. A great place to visit and sight see but a terrible place to expect to hook up.

Malaysia/Singapore
Spent quite a bit of time in Kuala Lumpur. Three groups, the ethnic Malays who are muslim, the Chinese, and the Indians. I've had success with the Indians and the Malays. The two Indian women I was with both approached me and both were Catholic. The Malays were muslims but as they described themselves, they are modern muslims. Got one flag from a muslim Malay. As a brother, the Chinese were tough to break into.

Malaysia is a beautiful and modern country with lots of expats. A black man could expect to meet and have fun with the Indians, Malays, and the European and Australian expats who live there.

Thailand
Anyone can hook-up in Thailand if you are willing to pay for it. The vast majority of Thai women are not in the business and are very traditional. They are still very outgoing and friendly but you will not get between their legs without considerable effort. The upper crust of Thai women can be attained by the white guys as that is their preference. The middle and lower classes are available to blacks but you will have to put forth effort. Thais are fun-loving and good natured people so a black american will have fun and could score, but don't expect. While you are trying to nail a non-pro Thai, again..., there are plenty of white expat and tourist women who will bang a brother senseless in Thailand.

South America
Colombia
My personal favorite country in South America. I've spent considerable time in Bogota, Medellin, Cali, and Villavicencio. Colombians are seem to distinguish between Afro-Colombianos and Blacks from the USA/UK. If you carry yourself well and don't perpetuate the Hip-Hop stereotype, a black american will do extremely well in Colombia. For me, I prefer Bogota because it is the most sophisticated city in Colombia and an educated black man from outside Colombia who looks good will be in Disneyland. I like Cali next because the women are more down to Earth and not as material driven as their cousins in Medellin. I would highly recommend that anyone traveling to and throughout Colombia learn as much Spanish as you can. You will be amazed at what doors open for you.

Brasil
The best bodies on the planet. It's amazing but I've had the most fun and most success in the southern parts of Brasil where the people are more European or are straight up European. The same description I have for Colombia applies here. The only reason I rate Colombia higher is because I spend much more time in Colombia. Being black is nothing special in Brasil but Brasil has so much more to offer than any other nation in South America. Come down and don't act or dress like Snoop Dog and learn some Portuguese. It takes more work than in Colombia but once you look at those bodies.., you'll want to keep working.

Argentina
Don't have much to say. Spent one month between Mendoza and Bahia Blanca. Nothing special. I wasn't treated badly and wasn't really noticed. If you are going to spend your money, go elsewhere. I was here on the government dime. The only success I had was with Brasilians in Argentina.

Australia
I have never been personally but being a military man..., many of my comrades in arms have been and I too have been told the stories of women waiting at the docks for Navy/Marines and outside the gates of Airbases. I've actually seen the pictures. Every black man, in the military, that I know that went to Oz came back infatuated with the place and planted numerous flags. Why is that? No clue but I need to experience it sooner than later.

North America
Canada
I have had the pleasure the experience Winnepeg, Vancouver, Halifax, and St. John's.

Winnepeg is a city comparable to Dallas with a very diverse community. Lots of Caribbeans, Ukranians, and Asians. I got to score with a French-Canadian with the nicest set of petite and perky tits I've ever seen on a white girl and two asians. This city is a gold mine for black americans if you don't mind going off the beaten path and maybe freezing your ass off if you are there outside of June to mid August.

Vancouver I've heard referred to as Hongcouver due to it's very large Asian population. It is a beautiful seaside city with very friendly people. I didn't sense anything special about being a black american there. I enjoyed the visit, lots of 6-7 category women in my opinion.

Halifax Nova Scotia and St. John's Newfoundland...., lots of good looking white women who like black men. I've had success in both places. Halifax being more of a normal seaside town but St. John's being much more unique. St. John's is on a rock out in the middle of nowhere but there are so many hot babes. The locals are descendant of Irish and Scottish. There is a large nursing school there as well. Lots of drinking and fucking going on. Every time I rolled through their( with the military ) on our way elsewhere..., the local women would always ask: "Where did all the black guys come from?" One night stands are fairly easy and common. The only drawback is that it's best to go out on a Friday or Saturday night as they are out in numbers. The other off nights makes it a bit of a challenge and since it's so far north...., you'll freeze your ass off and you might get snowed in for a week and not be able to leave. Not a bad thing if you've got your bedwarmer.


I hope I didn't ramble on too much. Just wanted to contribute with my experiences and not just lurk. Hopefully the information was useful, god knows what the rest of you post is a treasure trove of information.

Bottom line Black American men. Be yourself, behave, and use the gift of gab that we all have. Every women out there who likes black men doesn't necessarily like Hip-Hop. Show them how classy and educated most of us actually are. Get out there and expand your horizons and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Isn't it odd how in America it can almost seem the other way around(read: the classier, less stereotypical you are the fewer women you attract, at least black ones)? That's my observation, anyway.

Good post alb3, I like what you posted about Romania that's a place off the beaten track that I wouldn't have imagined was Brotha friendly. It was a good tip what you said about using the Gringas as back up if all else fails in Thailand. How long ago were you in Portugal, I was there almost 10 years ago and my experience there was the complete opposite of yours. I found the locals to be rude almost borderline racist I am wondering if things have changed.

damn alb3, you really spit that science on your first post. You said in your post that you used to be in the AirForce and as a defense contractor, what years were you traveling in your europe? Was it back in the 90s or in the 00s? Just curious because I imagine many things have changed globally for all americans post 9-11.

I'm glad that you shared some info on Romania,Greece, and Portugal, those are three countries I've been curious about and plan on visiting.

I'm surprised you didn't get a better reception in Argentina, maybe it was the part of the country you were in. It's funny how your experience in Argentina almost mirrors your experience in Northern Italy. It must be all that Italian blood.

I was last in Lisbon 4 1/2 years ago and in the Azores last year. I haven't had any problems in either location.

Was it Lisbon where you experienced this?

All of my travels occurred between the mid-90s and present day. I think Americans are still treated well. If you have knowledge of the world outside of our local city/town and can express yourself well and engage in decent conversation. You will stand out as different from how most people abroad perceive the average American to be.

I am brand new here. I will post a few of my experiences.

Australia:
Sydney - I spent a few days in Sydney last January. Sydney can require work to pull, not to mention Aussie girls usually cap out at 8s. Sydney has a healthy African population in "blacktown," so North American blacks have a bit of competition. Competition is good, as long as you have game and style. In the summer months Bondi Beach is loaded with tourists, mostly Brits. Don't be discouraged, Brits are always dtf. Native Aussies can be found at Bondi, but they tend to hit less crowded beaches. Sydney is loaded with pubs. Happy hours are prime time to hook up. Don't be loud or arrogant Americans and Sydney is a fun town to find new trim. One thing to note is that Sydney is very much an LA type town. Style goes a long way. Aussie girls can be a lot of fun. And are generally easy to get on with.

Cairns - Chances are you will be the only black North American's in Cairns. This place is prime real estate. Stay at the Shangri-La on the pier. The Salt House is a great place to find 8s any night of the week during the summer. This is an upscale restaurant, with absolutely impressive outdoor decor. Pier Point is a mall/shopping center. The Shangri-La Hotel shares this space. There are many great bars/dinning in and around this area. Venturing into the main strip in Cairns, you will find lots of surf bars. Depending on the calibre of the trim you are in search of, either area is great for meeting chicks. One suggestion; Don't visit Cairns in the summer months. It is in the tropics, and December-March are monsoon season.

Melborne - My experience in Melborne has been mixed. I have only been there during the Australian Open. There are lots of Americans in town those weeks. On the other hand Melborne women may be the most receptive to American blacks. Blacks in general, have ease there. I would suggest Melborne during the summer, as it is the coldest capital city in australia. Even in the summer months you can expect chilly nights. The clubs and nightlife are decent, certainly not world renowned. And don't expect 8s-9s. A solid 7 is a good pull in Melborne.

Gold Coast - This is the place to pull Australia's finest! Very accepting of american blacks. You should, with the right game, be able to pull with ease here.

Japan

Tokyo: If you dig asian chicks Tokyo is the place to win. Someone mentioned that to the hip Japanese black is the epitomy of cool. This is very true, and there are MANY hip hop clubs, where you will be the only black in the place. This is prime real estate. Japanese women, are not as shy as stereotypes make them out to be. They can be very forward, but again, bring your A game for 8s-9s.

Chiba: Outside of Tokyo about 40miles. Don't plan on going anytime soon, due to the devastation there. When a trip is advisable, this is another great town in Japan. You will have little to no competition.

Iceland

Reykjavik: This is a known hotspot. So buyer beware. I spent a week in Reykjavik in 2005. One thing to know ahead of time, Iceland Air sells extremely affordable weekend packages. Reykjavik, in some of the clubs will seem like Manhattan NorthEast. The packages along with American bases, push the competition meter way up. That said, Icelandic women come in two varieties 5s and 8s-9s. They are amazingly beautiful, or not. Reykjavik has always been extremely fashionable, but in the past 10 years this has been taken to new levels. So plan on rocking your latest and greatest. You will be called out for weak threads. Another thing i took from Iceland, the blondes tend to be the less attractive women. The dark hair is where the beauty is IMO. This is a town that is made for ONS. Do note, Reykjavik is dead Sun-Thursday the clubs don't open, and all the bars shut around 11. Icelandic people do not party during the week, so if you are looking for club life hook ups, plan your trip accordingly. Another travel advisory for Iceland. Do not go in the summer. The towns are dead, as the natives all scatter to the north for their lakehouses. The winters are not extreme, this is the time to go. Other than that Icelandic women are very liberal, and down to earth. And certainly have their fair share of women who are interested in black men.

United Kingdom

London: Where to start... I have spent a vast majority of my time abroad in London. I have had plenty of ONS in London, also had a GF there. London has a great deal of blacks, African and Caribbean, also a fair deal of Americans living abroad. This is a town that seems to cap out at 7s-8s. One thing to definitely note, there are hotties outside of the posh west end clubs. South London has a lot to offer. And although it may seem contradictory, the "darker" areas of South London, especially Brixton are great places for North Americans to pull. One thing I would advise is get British friends. They can be of great assistance. Don't be fooled into thinking the only good trim is in the West End. Wimbledon is another South London town, Clapham area as well. Lots of gays in Clapham so happy hours are great time to find little competition. Another thing to note is being an international city, don't limit yourself to brits. The expats here are typically the best market. All of my black friends there date Germans and French girls. London will offer the most competition, but certainly the largest selection in the UK.

France

Paris - First and foremost, KNOW FRENCH. If you can carry a conversation you are in good shape from the start. If you are not a fluent french speaker, a little goes a long way. Understand that you are at a disadvantage being American. The first thing you need to alleviate this is an understanding of the language. I cant emphasize this enough while in Paris. All of your competition will be fluent. Once you get over that... Welcome to heaven. The model community is so large, and so diverse. This is a great pool for 20something 9s. The nightlife in Paris is impressive. You will need an in. DJs and promoters are a start. There is also a burgeoning housewife market in Paris. Parisian women went through their feminist movement many years after America. They have always been a liberal country, but the market has widened in the last decade. If you want 30somethings and 40somethings Paris is a great place to pull 7s-8s in that pool. An off the radar town, is Cergy Pontoise. It is just outside of Paris, and pseudo American-friendly. Worth a day/night to put your feet in the water.

South of France - (Nice, Cannes) Expect a challenge here. Not only will you need a serious and smooth game, but you will need deep pockets. Not necessarily to play, but certainly to stay. If you want to put yourself to the test, pull in Nice! Summer time is perfect for Cannes. One thing to avoid is the film festival. For obvious reasons.

I am bit tired. Will add Romania, and Germany, Netherlands sometime soon.

@GB - Gold Coast is actually a town 60 miles, or so, south of Brisbane, Surfers is part of it. I have yet to visit Brisbane. If I were to compare Gold Coast to an American city, Miami would be the closest. Miami without such a flourishing nightlife, would be fair. It is mos def the most cosmopolitan "true beach town." Summer is great up there, not completely out of cyclone zone, but they are rare, and you don't get the constant down pour like up in the tropics. Don't take that the wrong way though. Low temps in winter anywhere north of Sydney are like 50 degrees. All and all its a great country. And like I said, the women, are easy to get along with, and very forward about what they want.

One thing I left out about Australia, the culture is probably the most laid back on the planet. I considered moving there after my last trip, and actually read on their emigration/relocation website, "expats have trouble adjusting to the laid back culture."

Romania

Bucharest - I was in Bucharest for fashion week in 2008. I had been hearing a lot of buzz about how they were quickly becoming the fashion capital of eastern europe, and starting to show in relation to Paris. The city sort of reminds me of Paris as far as architecture. One thing to note ahead of time, there is more of a language barrier than many cities in Western Europe. The language is, to me at least, a cross between french and italian. If you know some, or are fluent, you can pick it up quickly.

On to the women... 8s-9s are a bountiful. The clubs are very decent! For my black brethren... Yes you can hook up. These chicks, in my experience, are very open to North Americans. I didn't really catch any overt racists bs. I tend to avoid that shit well, though. I am always a fan of knowing a bit of the language where ever i travel. This pays dividends, and paid dividends in Romania. I was not on the prowl that often. What am I saying??? I am always on the prowl, but was not seriously gaming the entire time. I ventured out 3 of the 6 nights i was in town. I pulled 1 night. Not a great start, but she was a quality 8. I made plenty of friends for my next trip. One thing I did catch myself doing, was dropping easy pulls. I am not scared to drop an easy pull, and cast again. All in all, Romania seemed black friendly. And certainly pro-west. Half the chicks are looking for a way into the states, so you don't even have to game hard. Can bed with just the hopes that you will be their sponsor. (jking but there is truth to that). This is not a place to ball out table service. Of course flash can always bait some, but you will be more successful with subtle approaches, and real dialogue. Most of these women have Ph.Ds in something.

About to roll out for the evening. Will get to Holland and Germany asap. The Netherlands is probably my favorite spot, and the women are all 6 footers! Im 6'9'' so the Netherlands are like Toys R Us to me!
