Hahaha! That video is priceless! I know the girl talking on the rooftop, because I used to live on that building (And I still own the place anyways).

Maybe if I put up 100 facebook profiles of women in Medellin that date a
gringo we might be able to come to some conclusions on how it goes down.

You can really do that?

Might take awhile because most people don't make their most telling photos public but I think I could do it.

Check out this guys friends. Almost all paisas.

I need to get my shit together because I would really like to be able to split my time between Bangkok, and somewhere in Colombia I think. 4-6 months here, 1-2 months back home in California, and 4-6 months in Colombia and just repeat it.

Enough time to put down roots and have a social circle in each place, but you leave for half the year so it takes much longer to get bored of the place, and its exciting to go back.

What's people's take on making local friends? If you speak Spanish and spend a good part of each year there, will you make many? Will they accept you as real friends, or will you always be an outsider?

I haven't been to any other country where it was easier to make REAL friends than in Colombia. Seriously, the people are the most warm and welcoming people around and a lot of fun to hang out with. Even guys will love to hang out with you and hook you up with their female friends. Thinking about this I get a bit sad about being far away...

But well, El Poblado in Medellin doesn't represent Colombia.

Funny how they are confirming everything that has been mentioned by people in this forum with experience on the ground.

Although I agree with everything they say in that video, telling me to take a shower, to dress fashionably, to be able to speak Spanish, and that Colombians usually meet people through mutual friends is kind of like telling me to not cross a street when there are cars coming.

Some of it was over the top, but, if these girls are telling us what Colombianas are saying, there are probably some offenders out there. I focused more on the part about networking. A lot of guys are volume oriented and want to get the bang as soon as possible so they can move on, where the discussion about perseverance and not burning bridges might help some.

Yeah, that is my issue with the Colombia "advice" that you read.

Basically it is: dress nice, dance salsa, speak Spanish.

Thanks. Couldn't have figured that out on my own.

Oh yeah, and the magical "DHV" that Americans supposedly have there that I haven't experienced in two trips there.

So basically people have come up with this: do everything you do ever day, anywhere you go and hope for a magical "DVH".

^ on point.

@azul I literally stumbled on it last night. Housed. Ran into a spot at midnight and every girl was Latina. I pretty much want to kill myself for not finding it earlier. I will likely be posting less over the next month as I lock it down ha!

Not yet.

He posts Facebook updates occasionally. I don't think any new episodes have been released so far. He's editing some things right now.

The guy has been off the scene for awhile. Interesting that he would be in Jubril's vid. Looking forward to seeing the new Cuba and Medellin footage for sure.

Bodytech in Poblado a few blocks from Parque Lleras. The address is Carrera 43 A No. 6 sur 26, Centro Comercial Rio Sur, piso 6. It's kind of expensive, but it's the best gym I found there.

Good stuff, i stumbled upon a great latin spot a few years back that was like fishing with dynamite for me. I easily banged 5 or more women from the same small club before it shut down. Exploit it while u can.

While I kind of agree on Venezuela, this thread made my day.

Hell boy, you are in "CULOMBIA". If you dont get laid in Medellin, being a white guy, you are outright UGLY

Not even means you are a midget or a fat guy paved with acne, if you never go out and smile while the sun is shining up on you, then yes nobody is gonna want to be your friend.

Get out of the country, please.

I'm almost a midget, not that pretty and I have a bit of a gut on me but I found this post to be very informative and inspiring, thanks for your contribution to the discussion Papigringo!

I like to go out and game in Medellin, but don't know that many people, and I don't know anyone with tight game. Problem is that if you are a foreigner you are almost useless as a wing man and it is almost impossible to get laid with quaility girls. I think many foreigners are disillusioned with the situation in Medellin.
