If you are a man in the western world you have to treat police in a similar way to how you would treat wildlife, stay away from them and if you can't manage that then handle the confrontation with a high level of tact. The difference is you can't shoot police, you can't shoo them away with a stick or loud intimidating noises. No instead you are at their mercy in the streets. They are almost capable of acting with impunity. You're better off in some other country where bribes work well, where you can privatize and befriend local police for your safety. If you can't do that you're not safe with your local police, you just have another group of people who will harm and rob you of your money. The big difference is that they deem their actions legal under the rule of law.

Yep.
I would rather confront a group of criminals than a group of cops (though that's really saying the same thing, isn't it?).
At least I can fight the criminals on their own terms. Come at me and I'll come at you.
With cops, you have to let them victimize you and hope they don't really do you dirty by planting drugs on you.
This was bullshit. First because they didn't have to kill the dog but more importantly because this man had every right to videotape what was going on. Of course, the police will say he had no place there, it was a police investigation, but the bottom line was that they're full of shit. I hope he sues the shit out of them.

Watch this video and see if your opinion changes
It appeared to be a hostage situation with the police attempting to control the area. Tee victim* (who has a history of interfering with officers) rolls up on the scene blaring music. He stops his car with the music still on and leaves with his dog (a breed of dog that is often used for security) He starts yelling at the officers and starts yelling at the officers.
When he is detained for disorderly conduct or obstruction of justice (not for filming cops) his dog jumps out of the car.
Should the cops have handled it differently? Probably. Do I blame them for shooting a 100+ lb dog that jumps at them ? No. The guy put himself in the situation and his dog paid the price.
I am not a fan of the police, but this video pretty much reveals with a fucking moron the man with the dog was. It was a HOSTAGE situation, for Chris sakes... people's lives are at stake and his dog is running around attacking cops?
Total fucking idiot.

Yes, I hope he sues the shit out of them. Then I hope he loses (as he should) and has to pay tens of thousands in costs. Guy is a tool.
Let's face it, cops do a difficult job. Put yourself in their shoes. You have to respond to domestic violence and armed robbery calls week in, week out. You never know who's loaded for bear until they start shooting. You've attended funerals for colleagues who died at work.
Most of the critics here would shit their pants if they had to do the job for a week.
As thedude mentioned, this guy only stopped at the scene to instigate. He was given an order to turn down the music, which he refused. So he got what was coming.
Cops do a lot more for society than this guy does. If I were a cop, I'm arresting him too. Fuck him.
All he has to do is turn down his music when he's ordered to. Then he can film if he wants to, just as the other bystanders are freely doing.

You are sorely mistaken.
In my experience, it's the boot lickers who are the ones who live in terror and are the most beta.
I don't need the police. I can handle things on my own.
If the police didn't show up for work tomorrow, the strong like me would survive and prosper.
It's the weak who keep saying, "The police have a tough job."

Yea it's pretty funny now that I think about it but I've never called the cops. I've had other people call them on me a few times, I've had cops harass me, (rob me)give tickets, and I'm pretty sure if I had to call the cops for help, it would probably suck. I don't care if they have to suck a dick and take one up the ass at their job, if they don't like what they're doing no ones holding a gun to their head. It certainly doesn't give them an excuse to be malicious.

Someone breaks into my apartment. I'm not hiding in the bedroom calling 911.
I am fucking that person up with a machete. Not only that: I am grateful that the person gave me the opportunity to beat him to a living death without my having to face legal consequences.
But guys who have probably never shot a gun or been in a street fight are saying I'm a coward for not licking the boots of cops.
Alrighty then.

How do you put your dog in the car with the windows that low when you know you are about to get arrested. Homey knew his dog would try to come save him. Any dog owner would have known that. I don't care how well you train your dog if it sees you in danger it's going to come try to protect you.
I feel like guy had the my dog is gonna come bite this policeman vibe but just ended up with his best friend getting smoked for the whole country to see on YouTube.
Still on that Fuck the police flow though but this guy put his dog out there like that.

Definitely true of most women. Women will respond much more to a random puppy dying than they would of the average man. And if the man is homeless or ugly, they may just write it off as fate.

No doubt there'll be a big reaction to this, and rightly so. Four shots to a dog is totally unnecessary, especially since it wasn't being overly aggressive. The guy swiped his arm out and the dog jumped for it.
To be honest, I'm more bothered by the fact that police arrested him. Everyone accepts that part, but really, what business did the police have arresting him at that point? If the dog owner was actually threatening or violent in some way, shooting the dog would be a little more understandable. If I was in the same situation, I might shoot the dog too. But I wouldn't get into that situation, because I wouldn't fuck with a harmless dude with a protective dog in the first place.

As of now, Youtube has censured and restriced the viewing access of the video. Love how society at large is taking profound offense at a dog killed by cops, while the real problem is ignored- police intransigence when dealing with citizens concerning perceived disrespect of laws and use of excessive force against citizens.
We can't show a dog being shot but we let you unlimited access to more offensive things like pornography, bestiality and human beheadings/sufferings in real life and in popular culture. Remember Daniel Pearl? The MSM had no problems showing the actual decapitation then but can't show a dog being viciously killed now. We banalize human degradation and suffering while animal suffering is too much to handle for our supposedly fragile psyches.
For the record I don't take pleasure of seeing animals being killed, but hey, I just love the hypocrisy.

Cops are basically just government sanctioned criminals. My cousin's a cop and half his stories about how they busted some guy are legally sketchy to say the least.
Lastly, cops don't actually prevent crime. They're more concerned with busting some teens for weed or scaring some middle aged guy who had an "open container," than they are about arresting drug dealers and cracking down on gangs.
This is exactly what came to my mind when I saw it.
Have you seen those scenes?
Bad guys arrest and try to take the guy away.
His father, son, wife or friend comes to stop them.
They kill that person in front of him and still take him away.
They could just let him go in handcuffs so he could calm down the dog.
Instead, they pulled him back and executed his dog in front of his eye.
It really reminded me of typical hollywood movie scenes
'No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' (bad guy shoot someone they love right in front of them)
I hope they use it somewhere in the movie to remember this incident.

This is exactly it. Everyone trying to say the cops did what they had to do, but if this guy was not a threat. The arrest was retarded to begin with and he willingly gave himself up with zero resistance. There's no reason the cops couldn't have stepped behind the guy to let him calm the dog down and ten uncuffed him to have him put it back in the rig.
They're so busy trying to be badasses and powertrip everyone that they take common sense out of the picture completely.

Face it. For the most part cops aren't very bright. The whole notion of cops dedicating their lives for the good of society is utter bullshit. They sign up to be cops because it's the only job they can get above minimum wage with their intelligence level.
Those with brains who strive to be in law enforcement join the FBI, ATF, DEA, or one of the other Special Agent bureaus. Not try and become some fuckin street cop.
The cops got pulled from duty and are getting death threats.

I think they equate it to killing/ shooting an officer in which case they'd beat the shit out of you before arresting you or just shoot you. Defintely not enough good cops out there.
You can slaughter or eat practically any animal without shame... until it's a dog or cat.

Hey, we should rig a way for a dog to get shot every time a chick lobs a false rape accusation. Public sentiment would turn on lying whores very quickly. Cheap source of social shaming and vigilante justice.
Like I said, if this guy just got arrested, it would be ignored by everyone but a few civil libertarians. "A black dude in the ghetto fucks with cops and gets arrested, what's the big deal?"
