You are so much better off taking that money and getting a gym membership, a new wardrobe, a place with better logistics, and a couple of drinks to get you loosened up.

That's an insane amount of money. Wow. I learned my craft out of some free blogs and two $10-books (thanks Roosh). To give almost two thousand dollars - two my monthly salaries - seems like an utter waste of money. It's ridiculous.

WTF work on your body/game/health it's not that complicated.

Frankly, the more I work on it it's not rocket science. And as much as I get p*ssed at these lizards, most of them are nice girls and resonably good people so just chill and deal with it and don't get too aggro...

Shit, people are dropping almost 2 grand to get Neil Strauss to basically read from his book.

Also, take a look at some of the techniques he's teaching.

The future will be in lifestyle design and "total man" coaching.

Get a coach who handles all aspects of manhood.

PUA is old school warfare tactics that no longer work.

When I met Roosh I had to bring $500 in an envelope. If I was spotted by the authorities I was instructed to tell them that I was paying back a mutually agreed upon loan with zero - interest.

Yeah, but the training you pay for is guaranteed to work on the women it works on.

I'd flip it around - if they're able to charge so much for pickup training, isn't it worth considering for guys who do have game to coach on the side? Instead of two grand, you could charge a couple hundred per dude. Post ad on craigslist, maybe make a basic site on Wordpress, link it up with your PayPal account and you're good to go.

I almost did this when I absolutely sucked at even approaching girls and had a few guys who agreed to pay.

Depends. Why is that bad?

People go to school for tens of thousands of dollars, often-times to learn stuff they could learn on their own, no problem, with a couple books and some dedication. Any dude with some intelligence can skip his first two programming classes with books, time, and work. More, really. Or learning historical facts, when if you took the time to just take notes on wikipedia on historical events and etc, you could learn the same thing.

Now, admittedly, these are often for specific credits. For a degree. For the right to say that 'you got [this] degree'. Doesn't change the fact. Quite a few people spend 2g's on a weekend coaching session. My coach, he's an older, great guy, therapy/coaching, specialty in helping brilliant people not fuck their lives up, and he did that with me. Since he was my old boy scout coach, we've been friends for a long time, and I'm in college, he gave me a free pass. However, there were weekends in which people would pay him several thousand to come out and coach. Businesses would pay him even more to do classes with employees. He charged $150 an hour, which people gladly paid. When you are talking about 16 hours plus of coaching on a weekend, 16 * 150 = $2400. Especially if he's charging $2k + a plane ticket, and he'll come out and coach for a weekend, and that takes him away from his family, too.

It's fair. People pay what it's worth. People drop $500 at a strip club, if they spent the money on coaching to get girls themselves they wouldn't be jerking off to lap dances from strippers.

That said, if you have the right personality, avoid it like fire. No sense paying that much if you have the interest and dedication to learn it yourself.

People pay 200K to become experts in Creative Writing, Political Science, Anthropology, why not pick up? Very few of them become best selling authors, successful politicians, or Indiana Jones.

If you have a decent paying job then 2k really isn't much money. Especially if you aren't a debt slave.

There will always be hopeless schlubs forking over this much money for a "training session".

I guess now's the time for you guys with serious game, and most importantly, MARKETING skills, to consider this
for some extra bank $$$.

Maybe even feminist bootcamp as well? Any ideas?

Yeah, people still pay. Some find the manosphere and don't need as much coaching and training, and some have absolutely no idea about what's going on, have no clue about women and want someone to help them do something about it. We charge £500 for 12 hours and have had a few successful bootcamps this year, and are still in contact with the guys we helped so they definitely got something out of it.

Paying for training isn't the problem, it's the trainer and the content that is. Who would you rather take advice from, guys like Roosh or MikeCF who have improved themselves and their lives or clowns like Mystery or Neil Strauss who only teach "pick-up" techniques?

Honestly, i know people who would actually pay that money and use the information from it to good use.

These guys are your classic omegas. The honest, "nice", typically very intelligent in their field (engineers) who are socially awkward and get shamed for trying to exercise their manhood.

They made it 50% of the way. They're talented and focus their energies on being the man in a particular field but are afraid to exercise that drive outside of it in life.

My one friend was like this. Made it all the way through college until his senior year to lose his virginity (drunken hook up too).

When we lived together, he asked me serious questions about how to socialize and talk to women. As smart and talented as the guy was, he had zero game and was uncomfortable talking to women outside of a formal setting. I helped him start a foundation through my own stories of trial and error (before i got into red pill and pick up) which kick started him to get the courage to start talking to women.

A lot of these guys lack role models. Women always have a "group" they can role model themselves off of. Most places for men to do that are either gone or shunned away. Learning how to attract women is only one aspect of this group learning that men could learn just by hanging out and get from just shooting the shit.

My dream would be to develop a life course and teach socializing at STEM research institutions to the uber nerdy kids. More of a, "get balance in your life and acquire inner confidence (eg game)." I'd do it for free if i was retired. These individuals are the people who sustain the life blood of our country and truly innovate.

It would be in our best interest for them to be able to discern a good woman from a bad one by means of helping these guys not settle on one girl because they think they'll never find another.

My problem isn't with paying money to guys to help you out.

But paying for programs that teach you nothing but how to pick up women. I don't see any of them teaching how to change their lifestyle and teaching day-to-day life values.

When it really comes down to it, your approach on the street or the bar on the weekend comes with all the preparation you do every minute of your life, how you live, eat, stay fit, etc.

I guess if you have a lot of money this can only help, after all any kind of male role model helps.

It would be a cheaper and far more productive to attend a meetup here on the forum and buy a couple rounds.

PUA bootcamp= 2K

RFV meetup= $20

Beginners will learn more by befriending experienced guys here. Maybe we should have a mentoring program? Like the big brother thing. I'll sponsor MikeCF.

I wonder if that will really work. Either that or go on PUA forums and offer help from a "natural".

I reckon if most of us had the funds to do so back in the day when we started out, we have signed up too. Even nowadays, guys with the money seem it a small price to pay if the product actually delivers their expectations/sales manuscript. I personally remember wishing I could afford a boot-camp just because it provided the ease of laying back on the magic pill mindset and that's human nature- you can bet your ass they will continue to be popular. Not having the funds points you on the more adjusted path where your progress is a based off yourself reacting to your environment and what you are getting out of it paced with yourself changing/learning.

I have never paid for anything related to PUA except for a few books. However, I do remember spotting RSD coaches in a LA nightclub once,
and in London I spotted a few daygame coaches in Oxford street.

I've read some of this PUA shit and alot of it feels fabricated. Not to say I haven't told a lie here and there, but alot of the times "faking it till you make it" doesn't work. There are just somethings in a man's life you can't fabricate and pretend it's there, like total self-confidence and complete social dominance. Sometimes you can just tell by seeing them.

Also this quote from one of Roosh's recent posts is pretty close to what I'm saying:
Quote:Quote:

The men who are banging 9′s are not pick-up artists who use copy/paste material—they are men of status who have coveted access to these women. It would be ideal to befriend such a man and dissect his life to see what could be modeled. The problem is that this is more of a structural and lifestyle game than verbal game, and would likely take years to iron out.
