What's a good 20 dollar hotel in BKK in sukhumvit?

THC mentions staying close to BTS nana, but elswhere Vacancier Permanente is against that and says the area around BTS thnong lo is better. Any thoughts?


Another member wrote good things about sukhumvit 7 and 8 for cheap places. I'll check that area out.

There are a lot of supermarkets on Sukhumvit, all within 5 minutes of any hotel. Also, 7/11 is only marginally more expensive and there is one every 200 to 300 feet.
In terms of sim, choose between dtac and AIS. They can be reloaded via prepaid codes at any 7/11 and have either monthly or pay per txt options.

I've been to Thailand twice, but wouldn't want to make it home. Too many weirdo tourists. I know a bunch of guys that used it to weather it out between contracts, and interestingly enough all ended up in Chang Mai. Might be worth a look fisto.

fuck! I had that true move and I thought it was fucking expensive also but never really looked into it much since it was only for 3 weeks.
