I'm visiting Uruguay for some days and i went to Punta del este yesterday. Wow, just WOW
i saw the creme de la creme, lots and lots of 8-9s cuties from Argentina, Uruguay and southern Brazil. I think this is one of the toughest places to game in the world( tougher than buenos aires!), i'm pretty sure that even the most experienced game masters would have a hard time here. I just stayed for some hours, the place is beautiful and expensive, but i say that is worth the visit at least once in your lifetime.
One curious thing i noticed is that the gringo factor here is a disadvantage. ( at least in comparison to other latin american countries where gringos are put on a pedestal). Gringos in Argentina and Uruguay are powerless in relation to gaming local women from what i have seen..
has anybody experienced this in these countries?

As i said i stayed for some hours, so i cant make a complete datasheet of the place.
I can give some tips though:

- the easiest way to go there is going to tres cruces bus station in Montevideo. A one way ticket is 10 dollars, its a 2 hour ride.
- Once in Punta del Este you have two main beaches, "la brava" where the ocean has waves
and "la mansa" where the ocean is calm as a lake. Both beaches are more family oriented.
there are cuties everywhere, but most women between 20-40 go to beaches that are in "la Barra", a spot 7 km from punta del este. You can go there using public buses that depart from Punta del este bus station. A one way ticket to la barra is about 1.5 dollars. Beaches in la barra that are full of chicks are, la barra itself, bikini beach, manantiales beach and montoya beach.
- On the beaches you can rent umbrellas for 7 dollars. Do it, the sun hits hard here
- There are restaurants in all these places, some are really expensive, others not so much.
- Beware, BIG BEWARE, there are some restaurants that dont accept credit cards(yeah WTF?)
- There is also a 5 stars hotel (conrad) where millionaires go to gamble at the casino. I have heard that there are easy women there chasing big fishes(unconfirmed).
- You have also gringo food mainly mcdonalds and burguer king.
- I cant talk about the nightlife, but from talking with the locals they said that the action is on la Barra, where there are some pubs and discos full of people dancing until dawn.
- There are some cheap hostels where you can find a mixed dorm for 40 bucks a night, but this time of the year the occupation is full.

I hope to add more info in the days to come because im plannning to go there this weekend
again.

I think the only people that are going to have relative less difficulty there are probably Italians. ( I think roosh mentioned in his book that some Italian guy did quite well there)

This is because the culture there is more Italian, northern Italy to be more precise. Even though ethnicity has some German in them. But they also lack the culture curiosity of Italian girls but instead have more snobbishness. So how to game them? What have they got beside their looks? What to do?

From what i have seen of montevideo it reminds me of buenos aires just on a smaller scale.
I'm pretty sure is not that hard to get laid in montevideo with the "common" people but i doubt it to be easy with the upscale girls of the city..(although maybe not as hard as the upscale porteñas of buenos aires).

I think the word. EASIEST is probably. Quite suspicious, people who doesn't get laid at home do not need to brag about things. It sounds like he has been to dozens of countries and has a lot of success and experience. The word easier would probably be more suitable.

Been there, done that. I hate that place, and I love Buenos Aires. How's that for you?

To understand Punta, you need to understand Argentines. Once you understand them, the place makes complete sense.

These people are extremely hierarchical; they don't care about the food, they care about where the resto is located, and who will be there. How "important" it is. There could be a turd on the plate, but if the right crowd is there, its great.

They don't care about the music, the chances of hooking up - they care about how fashionable the crowd is and how "important" it is.

When Argy's go on vacation to the beach, its all about the where AND when.

The rich go to Punta, and the richest of the rich only go in the first two weeks of January. From then on the the end of February - its a sliding social scale. The prices match the period.

Smart gringos (or anybody who is not wealthy and CONNECTED to the right social group) go to the places these fine humans don't go to - at least in Jan/Feb.

Next level down in Mar del Plata. After that is Pinamar. Both of these places are far more accessible to the kind of men on this forum. A hell of a lot cheaper to boot.

Better still would be to head to Rosario and hit the river beaches, but that probably wouldn't work for most guys. Real inbred, but great when/if you crack the code.

I've been to all these places multiple times and you couldn't pay me to go to Punta during the high season. I can walk into snob-fest's at "Jet" lounge or "Tequila disco" in BA and see the exact same crowd - just in a different place. No shit - these clowns to go the exact same place every year to see the exact same social circle - every fucking year. They are like inbred monkeys.

Now, a decent looking man with a little cash and a world view, could do some damage in Mar del Plata. Pinamar is a little too laid back for me, but nice to hit with a chica.

I'm one of the apparent few who did well in BA and really enjoyed it. But, I lived there for 4 years and had a very good job, that put me in a good social circle and still it took time to crack the code.

Bottom line, Punta is far too much effort and cash for the return. However, if you have a chica - going to La Barra in March is great. All the posers have left and the weather is still great. Head down to the end of the road to a place called Jose Ignacio - a fantastic beach, which will be empty then.

BTW, yes, one could do very well in Montevideo but the same rule applies; spend some time and work your way into a social circle. The place gets zero love from the gringo trail, but there are plenty of hot women around and almost no foreign competition. Funky, quirky town, I could easily live there. I've met nice women on the Busquebus ferry from BA to Montevideo.

Haven't people been saying that this place is tough bc it's predominantly big shots rolling in with their gfs or something? I lived with an older cougar from Uruguay who said this was a tough scene too bc everything is about social circles as the good looking women will likely be off limits or with their boyfriends whereas the Jurere scene in Floripa is a much better pickup scene. She did also say Buenos Aires or Montevideo chicks are "relatively" more attainable while in their own respective cities if I ever choose to visit those places.

It is all relative. The first time you leave the anglosphere, you will feel like you are "killing it" pretty much anywhere where the women are feminine and thin.

Though once you start traveling to many countries, you will reserve those 2 words for a few countries such as the DR, Colombia, Poland, Phillipines, Thailand, etc.

Uruguay IMO is somewhere in the middle.

I would say that Uruguay is not as easy as other latinamerican countries. Social circle is everything specially in argentina and uruguay. I repeat if you can game girls successfully in Punta del Este you can game with success in any other part of the world

I walk into a bar - any bar, they're all the same in Amerika. All I see are poster children for Sex in the City. She'beasts who know "the score" and if they don't ignore you, are all too happy to tell you "the score". I mean, who the fuck even wants to engage the target in such a sad, shitbag culture that gives rise to such spoiled, entitled, scum bags?

I walk into a bar, say in Montevideo. The first thing I notice is the women.....women who are looking at me. Perhaps, even SMILING at me, instead of smiling at their fucking "device".

I don't care if I get laid.......compared to Amerika, I'm already KILLING it, just by being in the company of real women, not the shit that passes for women in Amerika.

It is all relative. The first time you leave the anglosphere, you will feel like you are "killing it" pretty much anywhere where the women are feminine and thin.

Though once you start traveling to many countries, you will reserve those 2 words for a few countries such as the DR, Colombia, Poland, Phillipines, Thailand, etc.

Uruguay IMO is somewhere in the middle.

I would say that Uruguay is not as easy as other latinamerican countries. Social circle is everything specially in argentina and uruguay. I repeat if you can game girls successfully in Punta del Este you can game with success in any other part of the world

Sounds EXACTLY like where I live in southern Spain (Seville). Great great girls, BUT...being foreign actually works against you. Very provincial town where everybody moves in the same social circles their whole lives. Born here, go to uni here, get married here, ...same friends for life and about 0 curiosity in meeting new people. I've tried being the interesting guy talking about travel and other cultures, but I'd get much farther if I talked about the stupid fucking flamenco festival they have EVERY year called the Feria. Spain is weird like this, and perhaps it extends to different parts of Latin America. Very very insular, and not a good place to game girls for hit and run bangs. Good eye candy though.

I think spanish women are mostly not interested in latin american guys, they are more interested in gringos or northern europeans... if you are one you will kill there
