Every day I am more conscious of the importance of this hormone..absolutely all the men who are successful in life have high levels of Testosterone..

Although it may seem like this guy from "Solve my girl problems" is telling you something novel, in reality a blogger named Pook had been harping about the amazingness of testosterone since 2003.

And I'm sure we could even find articles in playboy back in the 80's or 90's talking about how amazing testosterone is.

But not trying to steal the thunder or be a hater, because the solve my girl problems dude does make some interesting points.

High level testosterone is amazing,
You really can't go anywhere meaningful as a man if you do not have a High T level.

Lately I feel as if my T level as gone up tremendously,
I enjoy every bit of it.

The only bad thing is that feeling I get every morning to punch somebody in the face, my body just want to fight something.

I Also just want to fuck the shit out of every female I see, it's ridiculous.

Is there something you did to boost your testosterone and aggressiveness? I know people say pumping iron will do it but honestly I don't feel any sort of change like that after a workout.

What's the best way to find out your testosterone level?

I've found that when I go to watch football with my mates (a very testosterone fueled environment, no girls and not for the fainthearted) afterwards I'm bordering on rapist when I get with a girl. Just being in a raucous all male environment, getting pumped up/stressed and shouting and swearing has a great effect on my T levels. So consider taking part in or going to watch a manly sport.

All I have done is changing my diet from all the bad stuff I used to eat to something more "natural".

I sat one day and asked myself what my ancestors in Africa used to eat in order to hunt, survive and also what type of physical activities they were doing in order to get bigger and stronger.

Luckily for me I am African so I know exactly where I am from and the types of fruits/vegetables/meat available in that area.

After figuring out what grows/live there I went to the market and bought all sorts of fruits and I started tasting them one by one.

I then found out that my body loves grapefruits, I just can't get enough of them and strangely they grow everywhere in central Africa.

I then did the entire process again with other stuff.

I am not saying that somebody should only eat certain things because I eat all sort of things, but for me adding stuff that are/were consumed largely where I am from literally increased my T level.

I can just feel it everyday.

Now I am trying to figure out the best work out for my body, I can't have the same workout as a Japanese fellow because:

-Our ancestors did not hunt the same stuff
- The environment is not the same

Maybe the Japanese needed to be small and fast in order to capture certain things ( reason they are not so tall and muscular), and on my side of the globe my people needed to be bigger and stronger in order to survive.

So basically this is what I am doing at the moment and it seems to be working out for me.

Working out, getting good sleep, and eating some red meat always makes me feel more virile.

I didn't realize how important sleep is though until recently. I woke up and literally for the first time in years felt rested, awake, and energized. I didn't use any sleeping aids, I just had a long day and went to bed when my body told me to go bed instead of wasting an hour on the internet.

That said, I will use a sleeping pill at least once a week so i can get into a deep sleep that will last 2-3 hours more than a usual night when I get about 7.

Get your sleep, especially if you lift heavy. Those two combinations will get your T up.

My problem is that I'm a very light sleeper. Cannot sleep a full night through for the life of me. I probably wake up every 30 minutes. And if I go to bed at 10pm, I'll wake up at like 3am and be wide awake and may not be able to go to sleep for an hour. And then try to go back to bed at 4 and maybe sleep till 9 or 10. It's always been like this for me. I can't even recall a time that I slept the entire night through with no interruptions. I rarely feel energized when I get up in the morning due to bad sleep.

Anybody worry about testosterone ruining your hairline as you age? I believe it's one of the main factors in male pattern baldness.

Testosterone is derived solely from cholesterol. Body only makes 10% of your daily need. You want to keep your T levels high ? Eat good cholesterol everyday. I eat my eggs raw and suck back coconut oil like its going out of style.

Any difference in eating them raw vs cooked... Besides the risk of salmonilla ???

It ruins your hairline sure, but it is also an indicator of strong testosterone so going bald has its benefits!

You can actually get Propecia, dutasteride or finasteride to help with your male pattern baldness. Testosterone by itself doesn't cause baldness, its when its converted into DHT that it becomes a problem - DHT causes hair loss on the head, more hair everywhere else including the ears (ugh) and prostate cancer. Shit is like kryptonite for men.

I don't think baldness is a good indicator of masculinity otherwise women would be all over George Costanza so I want to keep whatever I can.

If I ever do testosterone supplementation I'm going to go on one of those three medicines to keep from losing all my goddamn hair.

baldness is a matter of genetics. Bald men don't have higher testosterone than men with full hair.

Does it fuck with your energy levels? Some people just don't require that much sleep to be functional. I'm not one of those people. My endocrine/thyroid system is kind of fucked and what I eat/how much I sleep has a big impact on my energy and mood levels. Since I went gluten and dairy free though, my quality of life has increased tremendously (i also lost 25 pounds).

If you're always walking around tired because of this, go see a doctor about it. There may be some sort of underlying thing that you're not aware of.

Yup. Its passed through your mother. Whatever hair situation your mom's dad had, its probably gonna be your situation someday too.

For some reason I get the impression that thyroid issues are just something that pharmaceutical companies have dreamed up so they can sell more shit to the general public. A healthy lifestyle seems to be a magical cure for most people with thyroid problems

Speak, that must really intefere with your gym gains and overall receptiveness/moods the next day.

I'm sure you have but have you looked into all the possible causes? Bed, dark room, no bright light before bed, working out heavy so you're completely drained when you hit the pillow etc.

You shouldn't have to accept that, that would make me a miserable fucker the whole of the next day if that was me.

Taking 75mg of zinc a day REALLY helped me to sleep deeper, I used to be the same, waking up every hour or so. Now I wake up once a night for a piss.

I think it has more to do with the western diet. A lot of peoples thyroid function is impaired, mostly because the western diet sucks. My thyroid problems virtually disappeared when I stopped eating grain and dairy. But most people will follow the American medicine doctrine of changing nothing about their personal behavior, and just taking a pill.

Any tips on nutrition?

It depends on your goals and body type. Are you a fat guy, skinny guy, or the perfect build guy?

Find out how many calories carbs you need then look up some foods with the nutritional components you need.

I go shopping once per week for the foods I need and it only costs me around $60 per week to eat.
