In one way or another, we've touched on this kind of thing a lot here. It's something that can be hard for some groups to understand. When people of certain races raise the issue of their race being the reason they got shot down, they're immediately accused of having weak game, making excuses, or being beta. But the ugly fact is that some people simply find it beneath them to be with people of certain races, even if they think they're a decent person, or "not typical" of people of that race. Sometimes it's because they don't want their peers or family to see them with someone of a certain race, for fear of judgment. Regardless of class/status, the race thing is strong. Does it necessarily make that person a virulent racist? No, but race still mattered.

Agree with you Timoteo. Brazil is very hypocritical when it comes to race, though I would never classify most Brazilians as virulent rascists.
I also never saw race as an issue in Brazil, for me personally, except for the infamous "patricinhas". But I never cared for them and avoided most of them anyway. But something in the wind seems to have changed about being a foreigner here. Just need the next 3 months to get a true understanding of what is going on.

The patricinha thing is as old as Brazil itself and I noticed it since I first started coming here. It didnt bother me at all, just accepted it as part of the culture.
Just that 2 years ago I saw in Brasilia a progressive city where girls of all races seemed to be friendly, feminine and open minded. Surprised me that a capital could be that way. Now that I am here again, I was either completely wrong or things have started to change here for the negative (At least for the traveling poon hound lol).

I liked how you summarized things kdolo and I agree for the most part. I am more or less of Roosh´s skin tone, so I never had that many issues with race, when I was here in Brazil before. My bangs were a mixed bag of all races, as I have stated before and that was something that made Brazil unique to me. Now, imagine my surprise, here in Brasilia now, that all the giirls I have banged (usually on the first date) have been young non white educated girls (here in Brasilia girls come from all over the country to study and work).

Maybe I am, but the point being I have black hair and brown eyes leaning more towards turkish or arab. Brazilian white women (whether blonde or brunette) prefer lighter skinned and blue eyed men in general, especially in the major cities.
