It's been a few years since I stopped going out on weekends. I also avoid Cinco de Mayo, St. Patricks Day, Fat Tuesday, NYE and Halloween. I don't miss it at all.

My big days are Sunday and Thursday. Although, I might switch Thurs. to Weds. Sunday nights on three-day weekends, while technically a weekend night are still good nights to go out. Not like the clusterfucks that are Fri and Sat.

I still like to day-game on Saturday's. And will ocassionally do a happy hour on Friday.

This is spot on, Vegas is ground zero for this.

If you think of yourself as a business, as I sometimes do, the return on investment for a weekend night is simply too low. Sure, you can close some business here and there, but most of the time, you're throwing abundant quantities of your most precious commodities (time, money, and motivation) into a volatile market filled with competition, tire-kicking customers, and unfair business practices (club noise, abysmal male-to-female ratios, rampant cockblocking, massive bitch shields, high costs, etc.). The night market--to belabor the metaphor--is a rapidly declining one, whose best days are in the past, as we all know.

I keep telling myself I need to start going out during the weekends again--because my bar and club game is in desperate need of practice--but as it stands, if I can't get a regular or sure thing on Friday/Saturday, I'm pretty much in for the night. Sunday through Thursday nights are for dates and occasional night prospecting. Day gaming 6 or 7 days a week. Online game to fill in the interstices, though I'm ready to park that for a while.

I ran an errand today and did five approaches en route, though my blood sugar was so low that I could barely muster C-level game. I could have number-closed one of them, but I decided not to, since I've realized (from experience) it's not always a good idea to bang chicks who work at places that you need to go to a lot.

Between my last post and this one, I've completed my aforementioned jerk, eaten a lunch-dinner combination, and done a little work. I got a text from a chick confirming that she's "busy" tonight and a message from an online chick with big tits.

Just another day at the office.

If I had to do a lifetime data sheet on the amount of action: kisses, dates, bangs, phone numbers, the cumulative bounty that I've collected for my efforts, one night of the week would stand out the most:

Thursdays.

I'm not sure why this is. I think it's like the weekend before the weekend. Like girls can't wait until Friday to get that drink so they satisfy that craving a day earlier, while breadwinning men do the responsible (and sheeplike) thing and stay in for the night. I notice the best ratios on Thursdays, and in turn, the most attention received.

It's good to get into that 5-nights-a-week practice for a while, you really start walking into venues like you own the place, but if you work or have other constraints in life I just don't consider it sustainable.

If only I could have been born a trust-fund baby...

It's sad to see my brothers-in-arms staying in on the weekend because of how bad it is. In Europe the weekends are pretty good, enough so that there is no point going out on an weeknights. Ratios can sometimes be whack but it's enjoyable. Girls are attractive and maybe not the easiest but the attitude is pleasant if you stay away from the elite clubs. I think I'm forgetting about bad things were in the USA.

If I go out on a weekend and walk into a venue and it's 60/40 guys to girls, I consider that pretty awesome and I'll happily run approaches and do my thing. In some cases that ratio would be considered a godsend.

However, it's all too common that I go out on Fridays or Saturdays and it's more like 80/20. We all know how that affects the female psyche.

There are Thursdays where I've hit up venues that are 40/60 men to women. We also all know how that affects the female psyche.

I'm not completely giving up on weekends, despite what I said two posts ago, but I do think I'll drastically cut down or utilize my weekend time in a better fashion.

Also keep in mind I'm in L.A. If I had V.I.P. access to clubs it would be a different story.

Several weeks ago Slubu and I hit up one of the hottest clubs in L.A. at the moment. Just getting past the initial door is a process and I had to hit up a connection to get in. Once in there's a V.I.P. room that requires serious status presumably, and I imagine the ratio in there is amazing. If you're just in the 'regular' part of the club that doesn't mean shit and I'd say at one point the ratio was 80/20 guys to girls, with no girls dancing, just lots of cliquey bullshit and posturing. The girls we did open got ADD after 2 minutes of conversation and it was a player's nightmare.

That high end Hollywood bullshit can be tough. For quick lays you have to sacrifice quality and go to more hipster venues and deal with snarky 6s and 7s who get all slutty towards last call, which is 1:45 here, not enough time to get girls to that REALLY drunk/impulsive state considering girls don't start to go out until 10:30 or 11.

I've never gamed anywhere else though. I'd really like to try out NY or DC and see how I fare.

Each and every year it gets worse. When the fuck does night game hit bottom? When will guys get tired of paying for bottle service, or talking to girls whose attitudes suck royal ass?

I may be the only guy here who has lived in the Los Angeles area, the D.C. area, and New Jersey. If you do well in Los Angeles, you should be able to do at least as well in New York and New Jersey. New York and New Jersey's average girl is worse, maybe a lot worse than Los Angeles', but bitch shields and competition are also lower in those two places. In my opinion, there is no shortage of talent in either New York or New Jersey. Miami is a whole other story. You can do great in Miami and fail in Los Angeles or do great in Los Angeles and fail in Miami. Other than for Roosh's sausagefest (I mean meet-up) next month, you may want to avoid D.C. entirely.

What I don't like about that video is that it omits a lot of key elements of the reality of a "huge group of girls" like that. It could be because the singer is (probably) a gay dude--and therefore only knows what he sees across the club while he's hitting up sausage--but he leaves out huge chunks of attention-whoring behaviors, shitty attitudes, and central characters entirely.

I'm trying this. The McDonald's here on campus gets stupid packed when everyone gets back from the club all full of dunk, hungry (possibly for cock) chicks.

Looking back, it's the hard sets that I almost convince myself would never work that are generally the most successful, and this includes opening a 5+ group solo and then isolating. Or it will be that one type of set that has never worked for you in the past that all of a sudden opens up, e.g. approaching a hottie and her fattie friend - 95% of the time the fattie will effectively cockblock you and you're discouraged from approaching this type in the future, but that 5% of the hottie will be interested in you despite the fattie's cockblocking attempts.

I don't really go out on weekends because I look so young, lack of girls and all the nasty attitudes. Mechanico's advice sounds crazy but it's true. You're better off going to regular places around town. I'm at the point of going back to my old ways of driving around drinking and checking out stores and places full of girls every weekend.
