Cuba - trip report!

After my trip to Cuba I came home more confused about the situation with girls than before my trip. First – you need to speak Spanish, the more you do the better are your chances with local women. No one speaks English in Cuba and if they do, you should probably avoid them! They are most likely run some kind of scam on foreigners.

When you get to Havana, get a private apartment without the owner living there! Make sure it is completely independent! Two reasons: one is that any girl you bring home would have to be registered by the owner and the information will be supplied to Police and Immigration as well. When you leave the country, they might ask you why you had so many girls visiting you? They are really cracking down on prostitution there! If a girl was registered with many foreigners, she will too be called to the Police station to explain. Also, from what I heard, they might have a fake ID . So it’s better have the keys to your place and no one else sees who comes and goes.

Regular girls in Cuba earn around 15-20 USD a month. Yet people who work with tourists earn much more, possibly 300-500 USD. If you go to a club many girls come to make money ( sex for pay), the asking price is no less than 50 USD. So any kind of a pro will not be interested to hook up with you or a Cuban guy for free.

If you speak Spanish, you can meet girls everywhere! The day game is essential as many women who have regular jobs don’t go out because they can’t afford it. Even with my horrible Spanish I was able to hook up with several girls just by asking them for directions and then asking them if they have time to show me or similar approach. They usually don’t have much time to just hang out with you as they are surviving and being busy hustling. However, you can offer a small gift or a compensation for her time. This is apparently very common on Cuba. One time I asked the girl to walk with me to a sight I wanted to see but she said she can’t as her father was picking her up shortly We made a date for the evening but she said she was tired and wanted to go to my place and relax. One hour later after some pretty mind blowing sex she asked me if I can help her to pay for her phone. I gave her 20 USD in Cuban money and she was happy! I repeated this scenario many times . I figured why game women and waste my time when I can get laid twice a day with different women for 20 bucks each?. Now keep in mind, there are many women who do that professionally but they will not sleep with you for less than 50!

Clubs in Havana are not that good for hooking up. The ones that play salsa music are full of Cuban guys who are hitting on tourist girls like crazy! They are extremely good at that too! They do it night after night for years! Tourist girls find it exotic to hook up with a local guy who can dance salsa and can teach her about Cuba. I saw manywhite women with Cuban guys. There are almost no Cuban girls who are not prostitures in clubs. They just can’t afford it!

Now if you go to a place like Salon Rojo or Casa de la Musica in Havana, you’ll find out around 20 guys and about 150 women inside. All the women are pros! They are not hardcore pros but they ask for 50-100 for their services. I’ve seen some 9’s there so if you just got off the plane and haven’t gotten laid in a long time, this can be a good option!
If a girl says she cannot walk with you and is afraid of the police – she most likely is a pro! Regular girls have nothing to be afraid of. I walked with several and no problem.

Odds are really stacked against you in Cuba if you are looking for a free lay. They always expect some kind of a gift as they think you are rich tourist.

I met some Canadian guys who work there and they told me I can have any woman I see on the street or in a club for under 30 USD if she is not a pro. I did not believe them, as I figured there have to be women who are not for sale...lol. But I was proved wrong many times!

You have to speak Spanish or be local and you can negotiate with anyone!
I was sitting in an outdoor cafe one evening, this was in Guanabo, outside of Havana and we have this conversation about how is it possible to hook up with any woman for 20-30 bucks...I couldn’t believe this Canadian guy! So he said, just point at any woman passing by and I’ll go ask her. Not 5 min passed, this cute 19 y.o walking by – not in my wildest dreams I though I could pick her up in any country for any money. She looked just like a typical cuban girl who’s hanging out with her friends. She was around 8.5 or even 9 naked. Sure enough the Canadian called her over and explained that someone is interested in her and if she wants to make a quick buck it’s her lucky day! 2 min later I was holding hands with the chica and we went to my place, she said she had about an hour. I was done in about 5 min. [Image: smile.gif]

Since that day I didn’t bother with the game. Life became a fantasy! The very last lay in Cuba was only several minutes before I had to leave Cuba and come back to the sex prison USA. I had tears in my eyes when I got home leaving sweet memories behind.

What was your route for getting to Cuba?

I'm assuming you're a U.S. citizen so obviously you couldn't leave from the U.S.

I know people who've gone through Canada, others through Mexico. Which one would you say is the best/easiest way to get there?

And is it an issue when you get back into the U.S. with customs and what not? Do they ask you why your passport is stamped from Cuba?

I've been there three times, through Montreal, Montego Bay and Cancun. Only once did they stamp my passport, my fault for getting into an argument with the immigration guy, but even that was smudged and on a back page. Never caused a problem. Twice I went on Cubana. Once the cabin filled with smoke. The Cubans didn't think anything of it. The other time it was a Russian plane with lawn chairs bolted to a steel deck. Air Canada or even Mexicana for me from now on.

How did you go about finding an apartment to rent that didn't have the owner living there?

I don't want to post a direct link, I don't know if it is allowed on here or not, but an easy Google search will return many good options. About half of the apartments are completely independent! There are so many of them in Havana and any other places that finding one is not an issue at all! You can ask any person in Cuba and they would know several people renting. They would also know several chicks "renting" .
Try not to pay more than 20 CUC ( 1USD=1CUC) per night for a place. You should be able to rent a complete apartment for 25 CUC.

Getting there for Americans and coming back:

The cheapest way is to get to Cancun,MX and buy your ticket at the airport or at any travel agency in town. The cost should be around 280USD return.

Cubans don't stamp US passports. No problem there. When you come back to Mexico, you will get another Mexican stamp ( indicating Cancun airport). Do NOT..try to bribe them! Cancun is pretty civilized compare to the rest of Mexico. They might act in the manner American border cop would.
As I said you will have two Cancun stamps in your passport - no way around it. Mine were on the same page next to each other [Image: smile.gif]
When coming back to the sex prison USA I didn't mention Cuba. They asked how long I was out - I told them 2 weeks. Now I never answer their stupid irrelevant questions. I tell them "Non of your damn business!" or something like "I went to Poland to get laid!" when they are trying to interrogate me. This time was no different. They always send me to secondary too, search my belongings and act like the dirty pigs they are!
If you count on them not noticing two stamps - you are fooling yourself! So you better have a nice story how you flew to Honduras for a week. Or better yet tell them what you really want to tell them - you went to Cuba to shag hot babes!

I know for a fact they don't prosecute people for going to Cuba. Next time I am getting a nice Cuban stamp right on the first page and rub it in their pig faces!

Cool story on my first night in Cuba :

It's 11 pm...the plan is to go to Casa de la musica and get laid at any cost.
I tell my casa owner I am going out to dance and get laid. He says when you bring someone back, make sure to wake him up so he can check
her ID and register her as a visitor.
Cuba is very safe - one can wander the streets at night without fear of being robbed. I get outside and start walking in the general direction of the club. I notice many people are still out, mostly youth, either sitting around outside their apartments or just walking the streets. Lot's of cute girls.
I decide to do a little warm up before the club and just holla at some girls passing by. "Holla"- I say - they reply something in Spanish...lol
I ask them if they know where Casa de la Musica is in my absolutely horrible Spanish. They point at the street and expalinging something. Then they ask why I go there? I tell them I like to dance salsa and pick up a girl.
Chicas - we love to dance! Take us!
Me- all 3 of you? ( I know the cover is 10 CUC per person there)
Me- naw I want to dance with just one girl and get sexo at the end.
Chicas- let's go to your place and party! ( I am thinking damn it..I better get an independent apartment pronto!)
Me-..naw..let's go to your place and party! I like you, you are hot ( addressing of the girls)
Chicas- ok we can go. We have music. Would like to fuck all of us or just one ?
Me- (thinking...hm...I won't last more than 5 min with one of these hotties! They look 18 to me...let's go!)
Me- I like you mucho!
Chica- would you be able to help me with..blah blah..and give me 20 CUC?
Me- sure thing hot stuff!

We go to their place...they put music on and some dirty dancing ensued.
I was grinding " my target" chick..even though I could have had them all...
I got to my underwear and she did too and we did some really dirty dancing. Boned like two animals shortly after. I gave them 5 bucks to do laundry as I made some mess and left my dna on the bed. 25 bucks out the door and this was the best night in a long long time! I never made it to Casa de la Musica. Next time - two chicks at the same time!

Hi, Wayout.

Very interesting report!
One thing though: could we expect any woman to be bought? Any girl or group of girls can be approached on the street and, for about 20 bucks each, would be up for orgies, threeways, etc?

I am very skeptical about ANY woman! That said, my american mentality restricts me from accepting the fact that most women enjoy sex with men just as much we do. I have never been rejected in Cuba. But they all asked for money in some way or another at the end.

You can tell the pro from a non pro by one thing: a pro will ask for money before sex and she will make sure it's OK with you. They ask for 50 USD - some kind of a ho standard. I had a girl in bed naked, she could have been a 9 on some people scales, holding my dick and surprising me with a 50 CUC quote. The best response is to tell her she is crazy and 20 CUC is mucho dinerro and she should take it or get the fuck out! That's what cuban guys told me - anything over 15-20 CUC and you are a moron overpaying! I did this once and watched that naked 9 in my bed getting the hell out because I said no more than 20!..

So if you are into orgies and threesomes - that can be arranged 100%! Probably 20 bucks per girl. I was offered that several times when I asked the girls I banged. They all have friends or know other girls who do this. The whole Cuban economy is supported by commissions and kick backs!
You offer a guy 5 CUC to find you a girl and he will ask his gf, his sisters and cousins to bang you.
One time I met a couple on the beach. The guy asked me if I was interested in selling him my snorkel mask- I said maybe later when I leave Cuba. We exchanged contact information. His girlfriend was very attractive and I commented that he is a lucky guy! He was like - really? You like her?
She can stay with you for a couple days if you like! [Image: banana.gif]
She did indeed. 3 days later she left very happy with some gifts and a 20 CUC. I bought her food and toiletries - around 20 CuC total. She totally reminded me some of the black Olympian girls. Turned out she was training to be a model. Showed me some cool moves she learned in modeling school. And she is an athlete too!

There is very little free sex in Cuba for a gringo like me. I tried. In-between lays I would go out wandering around Havana, getting to know people, meeting women. I met a mixed group of med students - we talked about life, politics and sex. Doctors make 20 CUC/month in Cuba. I asked them how do they survive, do they go out clubbing or how do they have fun. they said they save money for several years just to go out one night and spend maybe 15-20 CUC! Several years people!

So if you meet a girl and invite her to a hotel lounge, a restaurant or a club - this is a big deal for her! And I tried just inviting girls out - but was met with " why don't we save some money and just go straight to your place and have fun there! Of course if you put in some time and get to know a person, free sex will follow! But why? I was getting laid with the same girls for 20 bucks each any time I wanted. No time investment necessary on your part!

At the end of my trip I felt I need to take all my money and move here. I heard stories from Canadians how easy it is to meet a girl of your dreams. Marry her. All Cuban women I met wanted to get the hell out of Cuba ASAP! Many of them were in their 50s with girlfriends in their teens and early 20's!

Wayout, have you been to the Dominican Republic, Colombia or any other place vaguely similar to Cuba... and if so, what were your experiences there?

No I haven't. I have been to Sao Paulo, Brazil but I din't get laid there once in two weeks. And I had an amazing social circle going on there! Rich party people. We went to all hot spots - but nothing.
Brazil sucked for me much worse than USA.

Maybe you don't understand - I have zero game! I am OK looking but I am past my prime. In Cuba, all I did was make an eye contact and say Holla! I don't speak Spanish well at all. I would let the girl do the work or most of the time a guy would offer me help to meet women. I guess they could see my drooling and just decided to help me out with a hope I'll help them out with one or two bucks.

Were you boning all these girls without condoms? Another question... so you reserve an apartment before getting to Cuba, I'm assuming you don't pre-pay anything on that due to the currency situation, correct?

Cuba - trip report!

Here is my recent Cuba report in June 2012.

Hey All!

Time for my trip report in Cuba, I was there in June 2012 for 1 week. I apologize for any spelling errors or grammar mistakes. Im not going to proof read this. lol

About me and my traveling style
I am in my early 30's, From the Hollywood, CA. I am Asian/white but look for more Asian. I've been to Mexico, Brazil, , Panama, China, Hong Kong and Colombia (3 times). I speak a little Spanish, enough to get by but not enough to carry a long conversation. When I travel, I like to splurge and stay in nice places. I'm not one of those prissy fools that needs to stay in a super nice spot. I am very flexible and It also depends on whom I'm traveling with and where I am going. I don't mind staying in hostals.
I am not your typical American that only wants to eat at american restaurants, I like to try local foods on the streets and mingle with locals so I can practice my Spanish. While i was in Cuba, i went to 3 places. Havana, Varadero and Trinidad.

Getting in to Cuba with a US passport
I have a USA passport and you are wondering how did i get into Cuba?
I flew to Cancun, Mexico. From there, I flew to Havana. Cancun and Havana is only a 45 min flight. Once I landed to Cuba, went to immigration. Cuba will not stamp your USA passport!!! Banana So there will be no trace to that you went to Cuba!

Another concern some of you will bring up is , When I flew back to Cancun, the Mexico immigration officer will stamp my passport. That means I will have 2 Mexican stamps! Will the 2 Mexican stamps will raise a red flag when i come back to the US? Huh You have 2 options
1. When you get mexico from Cuba, you can ask the immigration officer in a polite manner not to stamp your US passport. You can say: "Por favor no sellar el pasaporte" (please dont stamp my passport) its a 50/50 shot. When I asked the lady, she refused, so I had 2 stamps in my passport. Next move:
2. Alibi! Idea When you come back to United States, and if they ask why you have 2 stamps in your passport, you say, you took a tour bus to Belize (a small country south of Mexico, only 5 hours away from Cancun) When you take a tour bus, Belize does not stamp your passport. When you enter back to Mexico, they stamped your passport. that's the loophole!! Banana Just make sure to some research on Belize. =)

When I came back to the US, they didnt even look through my passport. My flight landed in Dallas airport, and everyone on my plane were all Americans and College spring breakers coming back to the states from Cancun. No one has ever been prosecuted for going to Cuba. The immigration got better shit to do than bust people going to Cuba. So no worries! Follow my advice and you'll be fine!

Money
USD get charge almost 20%, fuck that! Go change your USD to CAD, which is almost the same.
EURO or POUNDS is fine, no need to change, your rates are slightly better than CAD.

Accommodations
You can have 2 options. You can stay at Hotels or Casa Particulars (private homes). I don't think any hostals exist in Cuba.
Casa Particulars is an awesome way to immerse yourself into Cuban culture. The government allows Cuban families to rent out their extra room for tourists. I stayed with 3 different families. All the rooms were clean and had AC. They cook for me and I enjoyed my time with them.

Havana
Before the communist revolution, this was one wealthiest city of Cuba. Beautiful hotels, villas, homes illustrates the finest in spanish architecture. After the revolution and the embargo, left the govt broke and most of the buildings are very old and in decay. Most of the cars are still from the 1940's. So you will see so many American classic cars being driven. it feels like you just took a time machine and went back to the 1950's. People are very friendly, alot of music, many tourists. very lovely city!!!

Varadero
1 hour from Havana. A Beautiful beach resort. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. White sands, turquoise waters, grab a moijito and relax on the beach.

Trinidad
5 hours from Havana. Another beach city, the beach isnt as pretty as Varadero. Alot of colonial spanish colorful homes with cobblestone streets. Very pretty city! outside of Trinidad, there is a waterfall! very beautiful! I had a lobster dinner for $7 bucks!!!!!

Strip Women
When it comes to women, I do have higher standards than most men. Since i live in Hollywood, I tend to chase after models and wannabe actresses. I strive to aim for the 10's, even though they can be a headache. I don't discriminate when it comes to race. I prefer Latina and red bone sistas. I like fat asses and big boobies. Im a yellow brother with a black brothers appetite. =)

The women in Cuba were decent looking. I had high expectations. I think all the hot Cubanas are in Miami. In my opinion, the women in Cuba does not compare to the women of Brazil and Colombia. I figure since its poor country, everyone makes only $20 per month, things are very limited for girls to keep them looking good. I did see some stunners in Havana and in the nightclubs. There were all kinds from white, black and mix. I think the more attractive Cuban women had families in Miami that send them money. Swag up, smile, Brush up your Spanish and Learn Salsa Dancing and youll end up getting with Cuban girls and thats how i end up wooing a Swiss girl over.....

Getting Laid and the logistics
At my last night in Havana, I end up hooking up with a girl from Switzerland, who was visiting her sister that works in Havana. My friend hooked up with her sister back in Cancun. After the night club, me and my buddy went back to her sister's casa particular. It was late, and the family was asleep in the living room. My buddy and her sister went to the bathroom. Me and her had the bedroom, I was pretty warming her up, fingering, foreplay and began doing missionary style till BAM!!! my friend came in and told me we needed to leave because we woke up the family up and she cant have guests over. FUCK!!! Angry I said kissed her good bye and exchange Facebook info.

If you are staying a Casa Particular, its really up to their discretion if you can bring guests or women over. Some might be cool, some might not be. If your are staying with a big family with alot of kids, i highly doubt it. Ask the owner. If you are staying in a hotel, you can bring guests over ONLY if they are non Cubans. Some hotels will not allow you to bring Cuban women over, you might have to grease them and they will allow it.

Cuba is a beautiful country! hope you all will travel there!
Hope you like this report. any questions, you can respond here or PM me!! Happy traveling!!! Banana

posted a few photos... hope its shows up!

Interesting report.

The only thing that bugs me is that Castro's system is so fucked up as communism tends to be - that is literally forces the bulk of the population to be either pimps or prostitutes............for 50 bucks and less nonetheless !

This is solid gold. I was wondering how do deal with United States immigration officials after Mexico stamps your passport for the second time. I'm going to become a reknown expert on the history and culture of Belize. As you can see from my fairly recent post in the Guadalajara thread, I don't always have the easiest time with immigration officials.

It's really not necessary. These immigration officials couldn't care less. And if you already have a bunch of stamps in your passport, they are not going to notice anyway.

But if it gives you peace of mind go ahead and become an expert on Belize!

This is not solid gold! It's the opposite of it. So you going to tell them you went by bus to Belize and flew back to Cancun? You realize they can see that the stamp is for Cancun airport inbound flight? They will ask you more questions like : what airline, what flight number...etc. Those border goons do it every day for hours, you are no match to them!
What you can say is that you went to Cuba. Or just tell them it's not of their damn business where you went and with whom! Every time I travel and come back that's exactly what I tell them! You don't even have to talk to them legally.
I can't bring any cuban cigars because I know I will be searched, but I brought some Cuban Rom, I just took all the stickers from the bottle.

I really don't think telling them that you went to Cuba would be a great strategy, because there is a law specifically against that. I like where your thinking is though. The Cancun airport may very well have a specific stamp which would definately put a damper on the Belize strategy. I think every foreign stamp I have on may passport specifically states that it if from the airport in the city in which I went through immigration. I would like to hear other members' imput on this. I believe it is a pretty important issue.

Just to clarify something I wrote in my last post, it is not per se illegal for a United States Citizen or a lawful permanent resident to travel to Cuba. I believe the reasoning behind that is that the right to travel is a fundamental right under the constitution and imposing such a ban on travel would be unconstitutional. It is, however, illegal for United States Citizens to spend money in Cuba under most circumstances. Wayout's advice to tell immigration officials that you went to Cuba would not be incriminating in and of itself. It may, however, subject you to further questions regarding the amount of time which you spent in Cuba. Good luck trying to convince an immigration official that you spent more than a few hours there, but didn't spend any money. Wayout wrote that they do not prosecute people who go to Cuba. Is this the case? I can state that I have been practicing criminal law for many years and have never received a call from anyone who had been charged with spending money in Cuba. I handle an extremely wide range of cases. Does anyone here know anybody who has been charged and/or convicted of violating this law?

Why not say your rich Mexican friend paid for everything in Cuba?

Guys it's not that complicated. Generally, they could care less if you went there. BUT, if you flat out tell them you went, which is like spitting in their face, they might make an example of you.

A fairly large fine was recently withheld for a U.S. Citizen that visited Cuba several times and explicitly stated that was what he was doing. Now this guy was trying to make a point of fighting the law. And likely, his fine (and attorney costs) will end up being paid by groups opposing the ban. Nevertheless, asking for trouble might just get it for you!

My advice is to go and don't worry about the stamp. Keep your mouth shut and you'll be fine. If you makes you sleep better, construct a Belize story, but it's really not necessary.

This thread dissapointed me, it has little to do with game, and a lot with paying women for sex. There are other sites for that.

This is has to with the game. The moral of the story is that you will be expected to pay! You can game all you want but at the end she will ask for money, maybe only 20 bucks for a dress, but they all will!
Think about it as taking a vacation from the game. How wonderful that feels?
You see any girl you like, you go talk to her and ask if she would like to have sex with you. From Hi to sex in 15 min! Done!
Let's say you go to Cuba and attempt to "game" some poor girl. Why would you do that? Your ego is telling you to do that? What a complete waste of time!

Another short story from my trip:

I went to Casa de la Musica on wedsday when they play house music and the equality of women is incredible. All of them are semi pros by the way.
There are about 150 girls ranging from 7- 9.5 and maybe 25 guys.
I have fun walking around the room, getting all attention - mind you they don't act like prostitutes, just regular interactions. You feel like a celebrity in some high end Miami Beach club.
Two hours before closing when all foreign guys are locked in with a girl or two, that's when the girls just give up their pro agenda and start to have real fun.
I found a hottie, could be a 9.3, and told her : I'll buy your drinks, I can't go to my place with you, all I want is to dance and have fun. She said if you pay for my taxi home I'll stay with you for the rest of the night. She had no chance of picking up a foreigner that night, all were taken!
Taxi is 5 bucks, drinks are 2. We had an amazing night, grinding on the floor, me grabbing some serious ass and reliving Dirty dancing Havana nights movie... She had 2 drinks. Total damage is 9 dollars plus 10 cover for a wild evening with a hot babe!

You can have your game and be like this guy who after two weeks in Cuba got laid with a girl from Switzerland! [Image: dodgy.gif]

No, I would have told them I took a bus to Belize and I took a bus back to Cancun from Belize. Belize dont stamp your passport if you take a tour bus from cancun. I would tell them, the restamp my passport when i reenter cuba from my bus ride.
Most of the time, they dont care and they wont really look through your passport..
To all other people they been asking the same question: No one has never been prosecuted going to Cuba and vacationing there.
So dont worry! they got better shit to do!!! Just dont bring any Cuban stuff back.

Cuba - trip report!

I wonder how this thread hasn't been locked. This thread brings up some good points that has probably been discussed on the forum countless times. I guess it can be discussed again.

In my world, we have a term called "trick". A trick can mean alot of things. A trick as a noun is a dude who spends money on a female. Trickin is also a verb. Trickin is spendin money on a female.

In the states. 10 years ago, for you to smell the pussy you had to drop money on them. You had to date women for the most part. Take them out, wine and dine. For women, its a interview process before they give you the pussy. Do they enjoy the nights out to town? Yea. Is their main goal to get you to drop cash on them before they let you smash? Mostly no. Some women love the dinner, movies, gifts without the sex, but most want you to value them before they finally give the pussy up. Another note is women in the past didn't have the resources to go out and spend money. So during courting, they get to experience shit they normally wouldn't.

Fast forward to 2012, the price of pussy has plummeted. Women are giving the shit out for free so we as men are spoiled. When I was doing the college thing last year, I never had to take a girl out before we smashed. I did it after the fact because I enjoyed kickin it with her. Plus women have money now so they dont need men to pay for shit. Unless you are messin with young girls or college girls

Now the world is interconnected and us international players are hitting every country we can. Cuba is like America in the 20's. Thailand, Philippines, Eastern Europe, almost all of Africa are all the same. Is tricking mongering? What really is the difference? Ali is in DR right now, if he shores a few strippers what does that mean? If a lizard only wants to get drunk one weekend in Miami, you drop 50-100 dollars on a tab and end up taking her home a smashing, does that make her a pro?

I was smashing my little sisters friend a few years ago. She loved the D. I would only go to her house to smash, no convo, no going out, nothing. One day after I finished she asked me for some cash. Was she selling her pussy or did she see me as a trick? RioNomad is in Thailand smashing all types of girls, if they ask for money for a cab back home and for some food what does that make them?

Sorry for the rant but the point is unless you are in America and you pull an SNL outside the club you are more than likely gonna pay for that pussy. 5 dollars, 50 dollars or you dropping 200 plus on dates to see that face between her legs doesn't make a difference does it? I guess the real difference between smashing a pro or a local is the pro has no emotional connection after the deed is done. Then what is a slut then?

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

the moral of the story:

one way or the other, either before hand or afterwards, you are usually paying for the pussy.

Females are genetically wired this way anyway: to acquire resources via vagina access to the appropriate male.
