Like houston said, it could definitely have been a result of PCP (Sherm). Not sure if anyone here remembers, but several years ago, a Bay Area rapper named Big Lurch killed & ate part of his GF and was found running around naked in the streets of LA I believe. He was put in prison for life shortly afterwards.

These articles are almost propaganda. It doesn't make sense to say "taking all the worst of these other drugs and putting them together, then that's what you get" blah blah. These are just designer hallucinogens that people go overboard with because they don't know how to dose themselves. Almost any overdose of strong stimulants or hallucinogens can produce these symptoms. The reason you get these outlandish articles in the media is because said drugs are not yet illegal, and they are being demonized in a "Reefer Madness" fashion.

Yeah, I don't believe anything the news says about drugs. I've done most of the popular ones and should be brain dead and homeless according to the propaganda. Who knows what he was on. Maybe he was just a crazy muthafucker...

Don't get me wrong bro. I'm all for legalizing weed, but I'm not so sure about the hard drugs even though the sale of the hard stuff also contributes to gang profits globally.

My point is that you should take these media reports with a grain of salt. Journalists sensationalize drug stories for eye grabbing headlines. Only believe what you read from reputed studies by scientists that aren't specifically influenced by corporate money. The distinction between "hard drugs" and "soft drugs" is largely artificial, and dictated by which schedules of the Controlled Substances Act they fall into. These laws were dictated largely to the benefit of the AMA and the pharmaceutical industry. Drugs they have no practical way of monetizing are shoved into schedule I, which is supposedly the most dangerous and addictive category, completely illegal with no accepted medical uses. Marijuana is in schedule I. My reefer madness reference was only to illustrate how they jump on top of scare stories in the media, not to directly equate marijuana with "hard drugs," whatever that actually means.

I was extremely disturbed and disgusted by the pics, but I was prepared for it. I've seen pictures of deceased accident victims (car accidents) before, and some of those are along the same lines (and sometimes worse because they're practically no more face or head located where there should be one), and instead a mangled, tangled mess of gore. Makes me wanna revert from my sometimes aggressive driving, and drive more like a cautious grandma. Eeeek.
